Eevee [Olive Oil] (F)

Nature: Bashful (No effect on stats)

Personality: (to be added)

Type:Normal: Normal STAB; adapt comfortably to any surrounding after 3 actions. Able to use Outrage without losing focus.

Abilities:
Run Away: (Innate)
This Pokemon is quick on its feet and will evade any field traps and hazards that would harm it (Spikes, Stealth Rock, Toxic Spikes) in an arena. A Pokemon can still absorb Toxic Spikes if it has Run Away and is Poison-typed. Run Away does not allow the Pokemon to switch out of trapping moves or abilities, however it can escape other situational trapping strategies in battle.

Adaptability: (Innate)
The moves that match this Pokemon’s type have their Base Attack Power increased by two (2).

(DW)Anticipation: (Innate)
This Pokemon is better at sensing dangerous attacks, and reduced the Base Attack Power from super-effective attacks, Selfdestruct, and Explosion by two (2). (LOCKED)

Rarity: 2
Riolu [Rum] (M)

Nature:Rash (+1 SpA, -1 SpD)

Personality:

Type:
Fighting:
These Pokemon come in two flavors. Either they are trained and disciplined masters of targeted strikes and ki attacks, or wild, savage Pokemon with innate battling instincts far above their peers. In either case, these Pokemon have powerful, dense muscles that allow them to throw targets of almost any weight if asked to do so, regardless of their own size. Their discipline allows them to Meditate and Cheer Up at a lower energy cost.

Summary: Fighting STAB; ignore weight restrictions on Circle Throw, Seismic Toss, Sky Drop, Storm Throw, Submission, and Vital Throw. Superior reaction time in close quarters.

Abilities:
Steadfast: (Innate)
If this Pokemon is flinched, it becomes aware of the speed difference and increases Speed by one (1) stage to make up the difference. This Speed boost is maintained at the end of each round.

Inner Focus: (Innate)
When an opponent attempts to flinch this Pokemon, it stands firm and continues its attack. If it has another ability that would be activated by flinching, that ability activates.

Prankster: (Innate)
The Pokemon is always prepared for engaging in sneaky tactics and trickery, giving its non-damaging attacks an increase in priority level.

Stunky[Diet Poison](M)
Rarity: 2

Nature:Lonely (+1 Atk, -1 Def)

Type:
Poison:
Poison shares a lot in common with Normal, at least as far as being generalist and having poor super effective coverage. Its greatest advantage though is its complete immunity to toxins. Poison-types can survive in toxic waste sites, deserted city dumps, abandoned playgrounds, anywhere pollution drives out other Pokemon. Poison-types will never choke on or be blinded by smog, smokescreens, sludge, or anything other than direct solid material (such as sand or mud) into their eyes. Other common poisonous critters are snakes, who in addition to their toxic tendencies can also squeeze the life out of opponents or paralyze them with a snake glare.
Summary: Poison STAB; immunity to Poison/Toxic, see and breath through smog/smokescreens/haze uninhibited. Able to use Wrap and Bind without losing focus. Superior senses in urban settings.
Dark:
Dark types are often portrayed as inherently malevolent, but this is not the case. What Dark-types do posses is a fierce mental presence that makes them immune to the effects of psychic suggestion and control. This presence also disables psychic waves surrounding an incoming object, stopping it dead in its tracks as it falls harmlessly to the ground. Dark-types are nocturnal for the most part, and thus battle very effectively in caves, at night, or in otherwise darkened conditions. While any total darkness will do, Dark-types are also the best at navigating confusing half-light situations such as twilight or dawn battles, where shadows can confuse or disorient other Pokemon. This perception does not necessarily extend to structural problems deep in caves, as while Dark-types can discern anything in their immediate vicinity, they aren't naturally in-tune with the echoes of earth vibrations. Dark-types are very vengeful by nature and happily use retaliatory attacks. In addition, Dark-types are more endeared to trickery and deviousness, and can use attacks like Nasty Plot and Taunt even if infatuated.
Summary: Dark STAB; immunity to all telepathic and telekinetic attacks, better performance in all darkened and especially twilight conditions. Can use any Dark-type attack regardless of Attraction.

Abilities:
Stench:(Innate)
This Pokemon has a foul odor that reeks into each of its attacks, causing all of them to have a 10% flinch rate. This applies to each hit of a multi-hit move.

Aftermath:(Innate)
If this Pokemon uses Selfdestruct or Explosion, the attack has ten (10) more Base Attack Power and five (5) more Energy Cost to execute.

(DW)Keen Eye:(Innate)
This Pokemon has extremely good vision and cannot have its accuracy lowered by an opponent through any means (including accuracy lowering attacks, Smogs, Hazes, Fog, etc.). Its attacks are still affected by an opponent’s evasion and the Pokemon's own accuracy.(LOCKED)

Round 1: Dual duelling in a dual...uh...duelling ground?

♫UMvC3 - Strider Hiryu's Theme

Gooooooood evening, ladies and gentlemen! Tonight here at Smogon's famed ASB arena we have a talking doorknob's Zubat and Slakoth against...what looks like some kind of white bear with a Riolu and a...ugh, that Stunky STINKS! Looks like some of the audience agrees with me there...

Anyway, let's get this match over with so we don't have to smell Diet Poison the Stunky much longer. Speaking of which, he opens up the battle by Taunting Grimace, shouting what I can only guess is some very disparaging things about his mother. Suffice to say, it makes the Zubat absolutely furious. Alas, before he can get the chance to kick Diet Poison's rancid tail, Rum somehow pulls a pair of Swords out of his ass and starts Dancing with them, raising his attack! Perhaps the Stunky's odor was too much for Grimace, as he decides to take his anger out on his Riolu teammate instead, smacking him with a Wing Attack - oh, that's GOTTA hurt! But what about Laggers the Slakoth? How come he hasn't been doi-...wait, is he clapping? Yes! Yes he is! Laggers is giving Diet's epithets an Encore! Maybe Doorknob's pokemon don't get along too well?

Unfortunately, Laggers ended up inflating Diet Poison's ego a little too much, and the Stunky decides to Taunt Grimace some more, to no effect. While Rum appears to be prepping for something, the Zubat cuts them both up with an Air Cutter! Apparently, that was Rum's cue to Counter, but alas, it doesn't work on special moves.

...and Laggers just lolls around, drooling like some kind of moron.

Once again, Diet Taunts. Once again, Grimace is too angry to care. Rum tries Countering again, but the bad bat throws out another Air Cutter, rendering it all but useless! Also, Laggers decides to take the fight seriously for a change an erects a Substitute out of torn-up astroturf and...ugh...his own waste.

Well, it started out pretty intense, but it looks like Doorknob has the upper hand, and it looks like that smell isn't gonna go away, either...ugh...so what's gonna happen next? Find out after our sponsors demand you buy their stuff!

Round 2: GIGA...DRILL...BREAKERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!1

Because if it's not Gritty Kitty...it stinks!

♫UMvC3 - Ghost Rider

K.O.!

Holy shit folks, did we time that commercial or what?! The round started innocuously enough - Diet Poison decided to piss off Laggers with another barrage of Taunts, while Rum decided to Break a few Bricks on the Slakoth's substitute. Meanwhile, Grimace smacks Rum around with a Wing Attack...it's not looking good for the Riolu.

But here's where the nasty part comes in. After the Stunky takes a nice big Crunch out of Laggers's health and Grimace slices up his enemies with an Air Cutter, Rum leaps high into the air...is that a hi jump kick? No...no, it's TWO hi jump kicks at once! Spinning like a drill, the Riolu's Spiral Breaker smashes into Laggers with such destructive force that he leaves a crater in his wake! LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, I DON'T THINK THAT SLAKOTH IS EVER GETTING BACK UP!

Unfortunately, this left Rum completely defenseless. Although Diet Poison lets out an ear-rending Screech to drop Grimace's defenses, the Zubat simply laughs and smacks Rum with another Wing Attack, finishing off the Riolu once and for all.

It's one and one, folks. What'll happen next? Find out after the break!

Just thought I'd pop in to say this was reffed correctly, the sub doesn't affect it since Riolu never countered, cooling down after pwning that poor Slakoth's face.

I'm afraid Leethoof's right. Remember: When you make a combo attack, a cooldown ALWAYS follows.

Also, I need to edit out that Zubat's taunt, since it wore off. Hold on a sec...there.

Round 3: The wanderer feels like being a cop-out today.

HEY! THIS IS A COMMERCIAL. BUY OUR PRODUCT. BECAUSE WE'RE SUPERIOR TO YOU. SO YEAH.

Of course, that's no excuse for not delivering sub-par fluff, so let's get on with it. Doorknob's newly-released Voltorb, Accelerando, starts the round off by Bodyblocking any incoming attacks directed at Grimace - in particular, Diet Poison's volley of (rather juvenile) Taunts. It doesn't, however, stop Mog's Eevee, Olive Oil, from dropping the Zubat's defense (as well as that of Accelerando) with an adorable Tail Whip. Grimace's defense is looking pretty bad at this point - maybe he should take a note from the Eevee's boyfriend...you know, the one who's quick to the finish 'cuz he eats his spinach? But I digress. Grimace decides to return fire with his own (equally childish) Taunt attack, pissing off his stunky nemesis immensely.

And while Diet Poison in his fury is unable to screech again, Accelerando then proceeds to ruin his day further with a Thunderbolt. Olive sickens the Voltorb with Toxic, while Grimace does the same to her.

Having quite enough of the Stunky's bullshit (or should I say skunkshit?), Accelerando decides to let bygones be bygones and dissipates its anger...with a Volt Switch to Diet Poison's malodorous face. Doesn't stop the venom, though. Once again, the Stunky just can't let go, unable to chill. This time around, it's Grimace who gets the upper hand, smacking Diet Poison around further with a Wing Attack! Oh? What's this? Olive looks rather furious...in fact, she bats Grimace around in such Frustration that the Zubat goes flying around.

So yeah, that's it. Find out what happens next...or something.
Order: Voltorb, Stunky, and a speed tie between Eevee and Zubat

Round 4: And now for something completely different

♫Tecmo Super Bowl - The Injured Returns

WAAAGH!-O's. Greats fah stompin'.

K.O.!

Welcome back, ladies and gentlemen! Apparently someone who will not be named fucked with the muzak system, so we have this odd tune playing right now. But I digress, that has little to do with the fight.

Accelerando starts the round by shocking Diet Poison with a nice fat Thunderbolt, while Grimace adds on to the damage with an Air Cutter, combining to essentially cut the Stunky's remaining health in half! Some residue from the Zubat's attack hit Olive Oil, as well. But why is the stunky scowling? Is he planning something? Speaking of Olive, she lets out a bestial roar and smacks Grimace around with an ugly Facade, while Diet Poison reveals his reasons for stalling - he combines two crunch attacks, rending a good chunk out of Grimace with Bonecrusher! Damn, that Zubat took a real beating!

And it just gets worse. Accelerando and Grimace try to respectively Volt Switch and Wing Attack the resting Stunky into submission, but Diet Poison just barely endures the blow, while Olive unleashes another terrible Facade - striking down Doorknob's wounded Zubat once and for all! Not content to allow its comrade to go unavenged, Accelerando finishes Diet Poison off with another Thunderbolt! How will Olive handle this turn of events?!

...She handles it with a Yawn...what.

Round 5: Billy! I'm takin' Annabelle away.

♫Bayou Billy - Stage 1

555-55558-5-5555-SENOR-MORTGAGE-TODAY! "No Probalo!"

Looks like they haven't fixed the music yet...this song is kinda funky, though...Good to have that smell finally gone, though.

With just Accelerando and Olive left, Doorknob reigns supreme in the speed department, and starts the round off getting rid of that nasty drowsiness with Volt Switch! Meanwhile, its Eevee nemesis Works Up her courage to deliver a fierce blow later on...

The Voltorb takes a clue from this and decides to attempt raising his own power by hitting Olive with a Charge Beam...and misses! Meanwhile, Mog's Eevee unleashes the wrath of her Facade attack once again, doing a nasty amount of damage thanks to the poison...but also gets paralyzed by Accelerando's static.

Laughing at this turn of events, Accelerando shoots Olive with another Thunderbolt, while the paralysis has left her unable to act this time around!

This is looking really bad for Mog. Will the outcome be decided in the next turn? Will Olive be able to surmount this? Will Dave get fired for tampering with the muzak system? Stay tuned!
