Mew @ Sitrus Berry
Ability: Synchronize
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Fake Out
- Tailwind
- Pollen Puff
- Toxic Spikes / Stealth Rock

Mew shines as one of DOU's best support Pokemon, the combination of bulk, Speed, and versatility making it reliable at getting the job done. In a metagame where Speed is premium—new mechanics and all—Mew excels, as it can set Tailwind before most metagame threats can even move. Fake Out, already a good move in itself for making space, is also nifty on Mew for being able to contest most opposing Fake Out leads, while its fast Pollen Puff is handy for quickly healing partners and preventing possible KOs. An entry hazard of choice lets Mew provide more pressure on top of the speed control, with Toxic Spikes nice for putting foes on the clock and Stealth Rock for making each switch cost extra. Still, Mew has no offensive presence on its own and thus prefers to be partnered with threatening teammates; the likes of Excadrill, Rotom-W, and Kommo-o appreciate the support Mew provides as they go to town on opposing teams.
