Double battle sand up team(random match up)

I am new to the smogon community so forgive me for any mistakes and lack of knowledge

With that being said, as the title states this is a double battle sand team. Here are the pokemon in the team at the moment.

Tyranitar@chople berry
Sand Stream
sassy- evs HP 252, Spatk 64, Sp.def 194
Blizzard
Flamethrower
Protect
Crunch

Tyranitar's main job is to set up sand and take out various pokemon.

Excadrill@Focus Sash
Sand Rush
Adamant- Hp 4, Atk 252, Sped 252
X-scissor
protect
Earthquake
Rock slide

Sweeper. With double speed excadrill is a huge threat.

Gengar@Life Orb
Levitate
Timid- Hp 4, Spatk 252, Sped 252
Shadow Ball
Thunderbolt
Focus Blast
Psychic

Checks Tyranitars counters. I usually lead off with Gengar and Hitmontop.

Ferrothorn@Rocky Helmet
Iron Barbs
Impish- Hp 252, Def 88, Sp.def 170
Power whip
Protect
Thunder Wave
Leech Seed

Adds Resistances to the team but poor coverage. Supports rest of the team with Thunder wave.

Hitmontop@Dark gem
Intimidate
Adamant- Hp 252, Atk 252, Speed 4
Wide Guard
Close Combat
Fake Out
Sucker Punch

Gengar's Partner in crime. Hitmontop fakes out a threat to have Gengar try to take out a pokemon. Helps team take Physical hits easier.

Gastrodon@leftovers
Storm Drain
Bold- Hp 252, Def 252, Spdef 4
Hidden power[Elec]
Ice Beam
Protect
Scald

Originally Swampert in my first test of the team but Swampert fell to Rain teams and could do little against them. Gastrodon is one of the only weapons have against the very common Rain teams.

Notes:Although i have beaten Rain teams, i struggle against them. The rain teams Ive beaten werent very good and I lose to even just ok Rain teams. This team struggles to stop Ludicolo and Toxicroak consistently(although kindra is a problem too, but he's not as common on RMU). Conkledurr is also a pain to deal with but with accurate prediction its usually not too much of a problem. Excadrill tends to fail alot, Especially against pokemon with priority(but usually Excadrill Fails because sand cannot stay on the field due to tyranitars many weaknesses). I have considered Hippodawn before but seeing how common rain teams are in RMU and especially in doubles i dont think it would be as effective as Tyranitar. Gengar doesnt last very long due to sand and life orb damage but Gengar stays long enough to remove the threats to tyranitar(except under rain..) It would seem that one of the Lati Twins would be good for this team but finding one with the right nature and IV's is extremely Difficult.

Any Help would be greatly Appreciated!
(and for those that dont know you are only allowed 4 pokemon per battle)
