Description:
Well, this is my first team on BW2 metagame and I really like it much, I would like to continue laddering with it to see all its potential and with position on the ladder can it achieve, but I am going to travel this Friday(July 13) and will be out for 1 or 2 months. It’s so much like a common Rain team right now with Double Genie-Tornadus and Thundurus. SubPunch Breloom and Azumarill complete the Offensive core, than Politoed and Forretress as support Pokémons, summoning Drizzle, using Stealth Rock and spinning.
Single Pokémon Descriptions:
Thundurus-Therian @ Choice Scarf
Trait: Volt Absorb
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Modest Nature
- Thunder
- Volt Switch
- Grass Knot
- Hidden Power [Ice]
-Choice Scarf Thundurus-Therian as my usual lead. I am using the Modest Nature even with the fact that I am going to be outspeed by the Scarf Timid Set, but I can either way stay and have mind games with the opposing Thundurus as Scarf Hidden Power Ice does not OHKO before Rocks.
-Grass Knot is very good because Thundurus can came, threaten it's going to Volt Switch/Thunder, the opposing came with Mamoswine and you just OHKO it if not Sashed.
Tornadus-Therian @ Choice Specs
Trait: Regenerator
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature
- Hurricane
- Sleep Talk
-THE MONSTER, Yeah, just Hurricane Tornadus-Therian, that works as a Sleep receiver against Amoonguss and Breloom. Regenerator is also a incredible ability as Tornadus-Therian can switch out and in so many times and even after being at a low life with a couple of switches is an entirely new fresh pokémon.
-I use just 1 attack because really, that’s all Tornadus-Therian need, I really hate Focus Blast and I would NEVER use it, even If I need to use it, I just don’t rely on a 70% accuracy move, the only move it lack is U-Turn, but staying at a Breloom or some other Pokémon and know you are going to Hurricane with 100% of the time is just so good.
-Still a choiced Pokémon with Sleep Talk is not very good because you cannot achieve a full sweep with it as Tornadus is going to wake up.
Politoed @ Leftovers
Trait: Drizzle
EVs: 252 HP / 100 Def / 156 SDef
Bold Nature
- Perish Song
- Protect
- Toxic
- Scald
-Just a Bulky Politoed to maintain Rain because it’s need for my team to work.
-Protect to help recovering and keeping it alive, Perish Song is good at killing the opposing last Pokémon and to use against Stats Boosting pokémons, Scald is it Attack and have a 30% of chance to burn, and Toxic is really good against one or other Bulky Pokémon.
Forretress @ Leftovers
Trait: Sturdy
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SDef
Bold Nature
- Volt Switch
- Stealth Rock
- Spikes
- Rapid Spin
-Forretress had mainly 2 jobs use Stealth Rock and Rapid Spin so my Therians will not be damaged by Stealth Rock.
- Spikes is when I have the opportunity to use it I use, but it’s not a compulsory hazard that I need to use, even this, I am not going to change Spikes for some attack like Gyro Ball or Hidden Power Ice or whatever, I really like to use Spikes when I have the right opportunity to it.
- Volt Switch is good against Jellicent, Tentacruel and some other pokémons as it helps putting Breloom in the perfect situation to Spore, Sub and cripple 1 or 2 opposing Pokémons.
Azumarill @ Choice Band
Trait: Huge Power
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Spd
Adamant Nature
- Aqua Jet
- Waterfall
- Superpower
- Ice Punch
-CBAzumarill, well I really love this Pokémon and think it should have more love, if I think one Pokémon is underrated, it’s Azumarill.
-It’s incredible strong and under the rain it hits incredibly strong. Aqua Jet revenge kills almost everythink, even if a Pokémon resist it, it will still do a great damage, Waterfall is so strong under the rain that it can break SkarmBliss just Spamming Waterfall.
-The other 2 are more for Coverage, Superpower kills Ferrothorn if I predict a switch. Really love this Pokémon.
Breloom @ Toxic Orb
Trait: Poison Heal
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature
- Seed Bomb
- Spore
- Focus Punch
- Substitute
Classic SubPunchLoom, I still use it even with Techniloom released. I think the gen 5 sleep-mechanics have made the sleep moves so good that sometimes I think that EVERY team should use 1 sleep inducer. SubPunchLoom maybe isn’t the best set for Breloom right now, but It is still very good and behind a Sub Breloom can destroy unprepared teams.
