[SET]
Double Dance (Iron Crown) @ Weakness Policy
Ability: Tinted Lens
EVs: 72 Def / 252 SpA / 184 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 20 Atk
- Calm Mind
- Agility
- Stored Power
- Tachyon Cutter
[SET COMMENTS]
This variant of Iron Crown aims to be a deadly sweeper capable of brute-forcing through teams with just a few turns of setup. Stored Power pairs perfectly with its setup moves and notably Weakness Policy, where upon its activation, can allow Iron Crown to OHKO almost every non-Dark-type Pokemon in the tier. Tinted Lens denies Steel-type Pokemon like Gholdengo and Corviknight from checking Iron Crown. The given EV spread allows Iron Crown to outspeed Choice Scarf Roaring Moon after an Agility.
Iron Crown best fits on Dual Screens hyper offense teams, which allow it to setup safely and activate Weakness Policy without fear of being KOed. Thus, screen setters like Corviknight and Deoxys-D are must-have teammates. Other potent setup sweepers who appreciate dual screens support pair well with Iron Crown, like IronPress Zamazenta, Swords Dance Garchomp, and Stamina Primarina. Dark-types like Kingambit, RegenVest Roaring Moon, and Ting-Lu all force Iron Crown out; Kingambit can revenge kill it, Roaring Moon can stomach even a +3 Tachyon Cutter and either KO it in return with Knock Off or phase it out with Dragon Tail, with Ting-Lu similarly able to stomach boosted Tachyon Cutters and dealing hefty damage in return.

Other Options
=============
Double Dance sets can opt to run Well-Baked Body or Earth Eater to make setting up easier, however this denies a potential source of Weakness Policy activation. Assault Vest sets can opt to run Focus Blast over a Psychic-type move to scare away Dark-types, however, this worsens its matchup into neutral checks like Swampert, or forgoing the incredible utility of Future Sight. Sets with either Choice Specs or Choice Scarfs in tandem with a damage boosting ability like Psychic Surge, Tinted Lens, or Hadron Engine are considerable for their raw power or speed control capabilities, however it is mostly outclassed by Latios as a Choice item user.
Checks and Counters
===================
**Dark-types**: Kingambit, RegenVest Roaring Moon, and Ting-Lu are all able to take hits from Iron Crown when brought in safely and can force it out in return.
**RegenVest users**: Swampert, Primarina, and even the rare Goodra-Hisui can switch into Iron Crown safely and can either pivot out or phase it out.
