-Introduction-

Hello my name is GasQuake and i'm frequent a lot of Pokemon Showdown but not as much here. This is my first RMT over a PU team because its my favorite tier. This is a team with no real gimmick. I really hate building teams with gimmicks because most of the time if you aren't able to do that correctly you just lose. Without further adieu I present to you the team.

(Calcs at the bottom)

EP757_Vullaby.png

Vullabae (Vullaby) @ Eviolite
Ability: Overcoat
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpD
Impish Nature
- Foul Play
- Roost
- Defog
- Toxic
This thing is freaking BULKY on the physical side. I love it. Defog for obvious reasons like sticky webs and rocks. Foul play can actually do good damage seeing as you don't have to invest in attack. Toxic for stalling out and roost for survivability.

250px-026Raichu.png

MauZ (Raichu) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Lightningrod
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Thunderbolt
- Volt Switch
- Grass Knot
- Focus Blast
Even with me liking specs Raichu over scarf I have to say it does its job. Does decent damage as well being able to get momentum. Also an added bonus of being amazing/cute C:. The reason I run scarf is for smasher sweepers. Thunderbolt for obvious reasons, Volt switch for momentum as stated above, Grass knot for those pesky ground types(I would run surf but this team is pretty weak to electric types as is), Focus Blast... Actually I dont know. Tell me what I should run for slot 4.

Simipour-Dream-World-Art.png

Lisztomania (Simipour) @ Choice Specs
Ability: Torrent
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Surf
- Ice Beam
- Hidden Power [Grass]
- Focus Blast
I love this thing. If you can find a way to get into torrent range this thing wrecks house. Simipour honestly gets the most love out of all of them and I like that it does. It deserves it.

sneasel_by_all0412-d6ssrv3.jpg

Dexter (Sneasel) @ Eviolite
Ability: Inner Focus
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Knock Off
- Ice Punch
- Ice Shard
- Swords Dance
Having run LO 4 attacks Sneasel i'm never looking back. Easily sets up on walls and continues to sweep late game. Really scary set and I cross my fingers it doesn't become popular.
2sb4idf.png

Kush (Musharna) @ Leftovers
Ability: Synchronize
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpA / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
- Psychic
- Thunder Wave
- Baton Pass
- Moonlight
A big support on my team as is Vullaby. T-Wave for crippling, Baton pass for momentum, and moonlight for recovery. Psychic is obvious. This thing takes special hits very well and can take physical ones.
Scyther_3.jpg

Skyward (Scyther) @ Eviolite
Ability: Technician
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Aerial Ace
- U-turn
- Quick Attack
- Brick Break
If I posted a truck that would be all I needed to say. This thing hits like a truck. Getting 1hkos on A LOT of things. Its an amazing pokemon IF you can keep rocks away. Smash teams with this on the daily :P.

-Conclusion-
Overall I think this is a pretty decent team and I would like to hear some feedback on it. The only thing is its a bit weak to rock types. Thank you for look at my team and I hope you liked it :). (Also thank you Jirachee for dealing with me messing up :P)

Vullaby
252 Atk Life Orb Sheer Force Tauros Rock Climb vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Eviolite Vullaby: 121-142 (35.1 - 41.2%) -- guaranteed 3HKO
252+ Atk Bouffalant Stone Edge vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Eviolite Vullaby: 124-146 (36 - 42.4%) -- guaranteed 3HKO
+2 252 Atk Bibarel Waterfall vs. 248 HP / 252+ Def Eviolite Vullaby: 114-135 (33.2 - 39.3%) -- 100% chance to 3HKO
252+ Atk Choice Band Stoutland Return vs. 248 HP / 252+ Def Eviolite Vullaby: 141-166 (41.1 - 48.3%) -- guaranteed 3HKO
Those are pretty good calcs if you ask me. Some big physical threats along with some setup sweeper action.
Raichu
252 SpA Raichu Focus Blast vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Rotom-F: 192-228 (79.6 - 94.6%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
252 SpA Raichu Focus Blast vs. 0 HP / 0- SpD Tauros: 304-358 (104.4 - 123%) -- guaranteed OHKO

(Zeb does to me) 252 SpA Zebstrika Overheat vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Eviolite Sneasel: 174-206 (69.3 - 82%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
Musharna
252+ Atk Ursaring Facade (140 BP) vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Musharna: 288-339 (66 - 77.7%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery

"Having run LO 4 attacks Sneasel i'm never looking back" But you have SD... Full rate coming soon after I play a few games with the team

Hey GasQuake, this is actually a pretty solid team. However, opposing Sneasel take an absolute dump on you. I guess Raichu can be a soft check, but it can be pretty easy to play around. You may want to consider a wall/defogger besides Vullaby that can handle it (for example Mantine [I think] or Pelipper)

Another important change would be Hidden Power Grass ---> Grass Knot on Simipour. In all but a select few situations, Grass Knot will hit much harder that Hidden Power, as most of the relevant targets for it are larger.

Not sure if you got my messages but the rmt needs a bump anyway. Heal bell > BP on Musharna. BP gives some momentum, but heal bell just has more utility overall. Also, run quick attack on scyther over bug bite, you rarely need to stay in but priority is good.

I have to disagree with this. Part of what makes that Musharna set so hard to kill is it's impossibility to be (realistically) pursuit trapped. Baton Pass gives good momentum, allows Mushy to get out of a pinch, and just annoys people sometimes :3

1. Pursuit traps baton pass (according to Bulbapedia). 2. BP might be good for momentum, but you can just T-wave the switch in anyway. I guess it's not a bad option, but heal bell is at least something to consider.

Pursuit traps if the user of Baton Pass is faster than the user of pursuit. Mushy's incredibly low speed tier allows all relevant pursuit users to get rekt by Baton pass for this reason.

Heal Bell or Baton pass. Its really neither here nor there. Its just what you prefer. I may test out heal bell later for burns and stuff.
Vullaby or Manetine. This team was based around vullaby in the first place and I really love using it. This team isn't meant to be the best it could be. Some were standard some were cool stuff I wanted to use.
Sneasel. Honestly I would run signal beam over focus blast because I always miss but this: 252 SpA Life Orb Raichu Signal Beam vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Sneasel: 211-250 (84 - 99.6%) -- guaranteed 2HKO makes me not want to. So yes I guess raichu is my soft check to sneasel at the minute.
Thank you Peef and Bippy :). You both seem like really great players and having seen Bippy's RMT and seeing Peef on the council as well as very active in the XY PU thread I appreciate your advice. We should battle sometime!
