Today I'm bringing you all my first RMT on Smogon. I have a sand team based around LO Stoutland. I have two sand stream users on this team so without further a do, meet the team.
Changes in RED
Tyranitar (F) @ Choice Band
Trait: Sand Stream
EVs: 252 HP / 156 Atk / 100 SDef
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Crunch
- Pursuit
- Stone Edge
- Superpower
T-tar is my first poke on this team. Since it is based around sand wynauut use a T-tar? Standard CB set with Max HP and 156 atk. Pursuit trapping is obviously the one thing I absolutely lobe about CB t-tar. Really powerful and with some bulk also on top of that it gets the sand up so T-tar is a Perfect start
Hippowdon (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Sand Stream
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 Atk
Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Earthquake
- Whirlwind
- Stealth Rock
- Slack Off
Next poke is a standard defensive Hippowdon. It is the poke that sets up my SR. It also is here to help me win weather wars to sweep opposing teams with Stoutland. Two Sand Stream users are pretty crucial for this team on top of that I can roar out any Poke trying to set up a Sub. Overall this is a greeat defensive wall.
Slowking (M) @ Leftovers

EVs: 252 HP / 200 Def / 56 SDef
Calm Nature (+SDef, -Atk)

- Slack Off
Slowking is amazing. Once I tried it out I kept on using it. It can take Special attacks like its nothing on top of that I can paralyze and burn big threats on the opposing team. Really underrated Poke and would suggest you guys try it out also. Definitely my second fave addition to this team.
SCIZOR HAS NOW BEEN REPLACED WITH WALLBREAKER LANDORUS-I. PERFECT FOR U-TURNING AGAINST PSYCHICS THAN TRAPPING WITH T-TAR. STANDARD LANDORUS SET IT JUST HAS U-TURN OVER RP.

Starmie is my rapid spinner on this team. It is a real pain when opposing Skarms are able to lay out all their hazards so I need a spinner. T-bolt to wear down Skarmorys because my team really can't touch them. On top of spinning hazards it has tremendous speed so it can out speed pretty much anything that isn't scarfed which is great on top of that it makes a great Special Attacker. Have made this a defensive set Thanks to undisputed for the suggestion really beneficial when i get the burn on Attackers and on top of that I can now recover all damage from sandstorm and attacks as it can take hits better now.
Stoutland (F) @ Life Orb---> Expert Belt (Bluff the BAND)
Trait: Sand Rush
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Ice Fang
- Return
- Wild Charge
- Superpower
The base of my team. STOUTLAND. This thing is such a monster. Can out speed almost every Pokemon in the tier even if scarfed when it is in sand. Pursuit to take out opposing ghost types. Return is the main STAB. Wild charge and Superpower are there for GREAT COVERAGE. I have swept so many teams with this set late game. I may change this into E-belt to bluff the Band. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
