SV: xqiht vs. GenOne - Another potentially great SV game. Two very strong players where I could easily see the outcome going either way. xqiht had an absolutely dominant 6-0 run in DPL, whereas GenOne did not play the tier for most of that tour, but did end up going 2-0 in the two games they did play at the end of the season. I'd say these two players are relatively evenly matched and I really look forward to seeing how this one turns out.
SV: Yoda2798 vs. Penter - Yet another really good SV matchup. Penter hasn't really gotten the opportunity to prove themselves in any team tours yet, but anyone who has played them knows how strong of a player they are. On the other hand, Yoda is a well established presence and hands down one of the strongest SV players (and Doubles players in general), and he likely is the natural favorite here. I'm still predicting Penter to pull out the upset, but either way this should be a good match.
ND: laptops vs. Chris32156 - Two players who are relatively inexperienced with NDDOU, but both very strong Doubles players in general who have gotten into the tier more seriously recently. I'm bolding Chris here as he has been successful so far in the ongoing NDDOU seasonal, as well as having strong support in the form of Jello and Astro Nation Shoe.
ND: SeaLife vs. Astro Nation Shoe - This should be an interesting game. In a sense these players both have their claim to fame stemming from the ladder, as Astro Nation Shoe has historically been the perennial #1 spot on the NDDOU ladder, whereas SeaLife had their breakout performance in the tier's recent ladder tournament, making it to the semifinals and defeating bagel along the way. I personally think this is one of the most unpredictable and potentially volatile matchups for this week, so it will be interesting to see how it turns out.
DUU: Xrn vs. SMB - Two exceptionally good players facing each other should make this a good match, although I really have no idea how seriously Xrn is choosing to take this tour, as they are apparently going to be nuzlocking this slot, which should be fascinating in itself. I'm bolding SMB for this reason, although this game could really go either way.
DLC: GasaiYunoSan vs. Cepha - I'm personally unaware of Cepha and Gasai is a veteran of this tier, but looking forward to how it turns out nonetheless.
DPP: Idyll vs. sir jelloton - I may be assassinated by Idyll's covert agents in doucord for this prediction, but for now I still have to go with Jello as he has much more experience in the tier. That being said, you can never count Idyll out as they are easily one of the best all-rounded Doubles players and will have more than a fighting chance on fundamentals alone. They also have very strong support in the form of laptops and Mizuhime, so this should be a cool game to see. Anyway, if I suddenly disappear you know what happened to me.
ADV: Mizuhime vs. Flying Beagle - Although Mizu's performance in ADVPL wasn't the best, she is still a very strong Doubles player in general and can never be underestimated no matter what. I think this could be an interesting series since Flying Beagle is certainly also a very good player, but I'm bolding Mizu here as I'm not sure how much experience Flying Beagle has with ADV, if any, and this format, while not really complex in any further way than other Doubles formats, still has the most amount of fundamental differences in terms of mechanics, so experience definitely counts.
