SV: Seraphz vs. EternalSnowman - The most expensive player in the draft is at this point probably favored over anyone else in the SV pool given their absolutely dominant DPL run, ending with an astonishing 7-2 record and going undefeated in the regular season. On top of that, ESM has excellent support in the form of zee, tyo, and Arcticblast, so taking them down will certainly not be an easy feat. There is definitely room for an upset here, though, and I expect this game to end up being close.

SV: Paraplegic vs. tyo - This is an incredibly difficult game to predict and could easily swing either way. I wouldn't be surprised at all to see either player take this one. Paraplegic finished DPL with a respectable but not outstanding 3-4 record while tyo did not take part in that tournament, although they have seen plenty of success in the VGC scene recently, most notably winning the Utrecht Special Event with their now infamous Articuno team. I'm giving the slight edge to tyo here as, similarly to ESM, they have excellent SV support, but either way this should hopefully be a great game. I expect to see some cool teambuilding choices from both sides.

ND: Schister vs. Toxinalpaca - Although Schister has only recently started seriously playing NDDOU, I think he has some strong momentum in the tier right now because of it being a fresh format for him to get his hands on, and I look forward to seeing what kind of wacky ideas he comes up with. I could definitely see this game going either way but I think Schister has the teambuilding edge at the moment.

ND: oh the guilt vs. LogIce - Ngl I don't know a ton about either of these players but I believe that oh the guilt has more general tournament experience, so I'm favoring them for now.

DUU: Tenzai vs. Yellow Paint - This should be another great game in my opinion. Tenzai had a stellar performance in DPL, although neither they nor Yellow Paint actually played DUU in that tour. This tier feels very volatile and unpredictable at the moment but I'm giving the edge to Yellow Paint here as I think they are more actively involved with the format and once again have great support as well. Should be an interesting match between two great players.

DLC: Quinn vs. Nashrock - Two singles mains being slotted into DLC is an unexpected but very cool thing to see. I genuinely have no idea what the outcome of this game will be but I'm more familiar with Nashrock so I'm just going with them. I look forward to seeing how both of these players do throughout the season.

DPP: txitxas vs. fespy - I'm really looking forward to this game as well. Txitxas has proven themselves to be very proficient at a range of Doubles tiers, most relevant to this match being their Semifinals placement in the recent DPP Swiss tour, but they also had a very respectable Top 16 placement in Doubles Classic V and even made it to the Finals from the winners' bracket in the most recent DLC seasonal, only losing in the end to the titan Actuarily (although they had even beaten Actuarily earlier in the tour). They might appear to be the favorite here as fespy hasn't been very active in tours lately, but I'm still going to predict the upset here and believe in fespy to pull it out, although I may be a little biased here as fespy's clutchness is what won us the first Derby last year. Either way I think this should be a really good game.

ADV: Lhions vs. zee - zee willingly sacrificing themselves to ADV hell is quite the noble move, we will see if their price paid in blood is enough to bring favor to the Ice Riders. Jokes aside, I actually personally really like ADV and think this will be a fun series. I expect some cool teams on both sides and definitely think it could go either way, although the Chargers' strong ADV core of Lhions and Genesis77 will certainly be a force to be reckoned with for any team facing them. May RNGesus favor you all.

SV: waffle2O2O vs. Fangame10 - I think there is definitely potential for an upset here, especially as both players have excellent potential support for SV and waffle is a strong player who had some impressive wins over JRL and entrocefalo in DPL, but for now I will still go with the more established player in fangame.

SV: udhhfd12345 vs. jonas - Same situation here as above, although I think this matchup may be a bit more lopsided in jonas's favor.

ND: Zeal vs. Voltix - Voltix is hot off a dominant 7-1 performance in Spain + Latin America's National Dex World Cup finals run, and there's no reason to think they'll show any signs of slowing down here. Zeal will certainly be a formidable opponent, though, especially with teambuilding support coming from bagel, qsns, big pichu, and Test Bots. In contrast, Voltix's somewhat formulaic teambuilding habits may be their biggest weakness, but it will be interesting to see if they can maintain their streak of dominance into this year's Derby.

ND: bagel vs. Despacito87 - This match will inevitably be an uphill battle for Despacito, as bagel is easily one of the scariest opponents you could face in any Doubles tier, and bagel is in practice too, coming off a great 3-1 run for US Midwest + West in NDWC.

DUU: Hys vs. Guard Spec - Guard Spec has had a fantastic breakout run so far in the ongoing DUU Swiss tour, currently 4-0 against some very strong opponents. However, they've yet to establish themselves in any team tours, so for now I will still be bolding Hys, who has proven themselves to be a very strong force in DUU historically.

DLC: PigWarrior19 vs. Actuarily - This is possibly the highlight match of the whole week, two of the strongest DLC players going head to head right off the bat. Actuarily is fresh off winning the very recent DLC seasonal, while PigWarrior did not actually participate in that tour, but nonetheless this should still be a great game.

DPP: qsns vs. eragon - The Storms managers duking it out in DPP should be a fun time. I'm bolding qsns here as they have historically been very strong in DPP, whereas I don't believe eragon has much experience with the tier and is trying it out here for the first time as part of his quest to play every DOU oldgen. You can truly never count eragon out, though, and I expect some cool teams from both sides here.

ADV: NinjaSnapple vs. Grandmas Cookin - It's hard not to bold Gma in this tier, there are few other players who have as much of a handle on the format as they do. Coming off a respectable 4-4 performance in ADVPL, although not as clearly dominant as they were in last year's Derby, they should still be a powerful force to be reckoned with this season.

SV: xqiht vs. GenOne - Another potentially great SV game. Two very strong players where I could easily see the outcome going either way. xqiht had an absolutely dominant 6-0 run in DPL, whereas GenOne did not play the tier for most of that tour, but did end up going 2-0 in the two games they did play at the end of the season. I'd say these two players are relatively evenly matched and I really look forward to seeing how this one turns out.

SV: Yoda2798 vs. Penter - Yet another really good SV matchup. Penter hasn't really gotten the opportunity to prove themselves in any team tours yet, but anyone who has played them knows how strong of a player they are. On the other hand, Yoda is a well established presence and hands down one of the strongest SV players (and Doubles players in general), and he likely is the natural favorite here. I'm still predicting Penter to pull out the upset, but either way this should be a good match.

ND: laptops vs. Chris32156 - Two players who are relatively inexperienced with NDDOU, but both very strong Doubles players in general who have gotten into the tier more seriously recently. I'm bolding Chris here as he has been successful so far in the ongoing NDDOU seasonal, as well as having strong support in the form of Jello and Astro Nation Shoe.

ND: SeaLife vs. Astro Nation Shoe - This should be an interesting game. In a sense these players both have their claim to fame stemming from the ladder, as Astro Nation Shoe has historically been the perennial #1 spot on the NDDOU ladder, whereas SeaLife had their breakout performance in the tier's recent ladder tournament, making it to the semifinals and defeating bagel along the way. I personally think this is one of the most unpredictable and potentially volatile matchups for this week, so it will be interesting to see how it turns out.

DUU: Xrn vs. SMB - Two exceptionally good players facing each other should make this a good match, although I really have no idea how seriously Xrn is choosing to take this tour, as they are apparently going to be nuzlocking this slot, which should be fascinating in itself. I'm bolding SMB for this reason, although this game could really go either way.

DLC: GasaiYunoSan vs. Cepha - I'm personally unaware of Cepha and Gasai is a veteran of this tier, but looking forward to how it turns out nonetheless.

DPP: Idyll vs. sir jelloton - I may be assassinated by Idyll's covert agents in doucord for this prediction, but for now I still have to go with Jello as he has much more experience in the tier. That being said, you can never count Idyll out as they are easily one of the best all-rounded Doubles players and will have more than a fighting chance on fundamentals alone. They also have very strong support in the form of laptops and Mizuhime, so this should be a cool game to see. Anyway, if I suddenly disappear you know what happened to me.

ADV: Mizuhime vs. Flying Beagle - Although Mizu's performance in ADVPL wasn't the best, she is still a very strong Doubles player in general and can never be underestimated no matter what. I think this could be an interesting series since Flying Beagle is certainly also a very good player, but I'm bolding Mizu here as I'm not sure how much experience Flying Beagle has with ADV, if any, and this format, while not really complex in any further way than other Doubles formats, still has the most amount of fundamental differences in terms of mechanics, so experience definitely counts.

Of course two great oldgens players.I am not know much adv dou,but I am sure the game will very very exciting and interesting.

Jubilife Jockeys vs Buckhorn Rhyhorns

ND: Iceberg77 vs. Nido-Rus
Either iceberg or nido is playing natdex dou in derby I,they all have a lot of experience in nd.Nido have more experience and skills in dou tier(not only nd so it makes him have a good standard) but iceberg play natdex more activeiceberg play natdex more active. So I guess this is a hard game and I think iceberg have more chances to win.I am looking forward to their game.

Twinleaf Turboblaze vs Konikoni Kingdras

DLC: PigWarrior19 vs. Actuarily
Pigwarrior, not doubt, maybe the best dlc player in the pool. His opps is actuarily who is good at dou,duu and dlc.I think pigwarrior will win and the reason is similar with iceberg.I believe that environmental understanding determine the upper limit, and individual actions determine the lower limit.

DPP: qsns vs. eragon
This is the game which a epic seasoned player in games vs a rising star. The dpp technology and basic skills of qsns are very solid.Eragon's advantage lies in his interesting team structure and various creative ideas, and his skills are also quite powerful.

Neigh Bark Town vs Gallop of the Gods

ND: SeaLife vs. Astro Nation Shoe
already finished

DUU: Xrn vs. SMB
Be similar with many matches the above. There is a game that two great dou player. We know smb is the best player in dou history but xrn is also the best player in scl last year. One is my teammate, one is my teacher,so I think winner is kaori.
