Paraplegic Moves On, zoe moves up
Paraplegic has stepped down from his duties, including as moderator and council member. We thank him for everything he's done for the tier over the years.

bage1 sates JRL's Hunger for Exit
JRL has stepped down from the DOU Council, who we thank for his valuable insight into the tier during his time.
Promoted to fill his place is bage1! Anyone active in the tier over the past year will be well aware of one of DOU's biggest rising stars, and we look forward to having him on board.

GenOne and Nido-Rus have both recently decided to step down from the DOU Council, we thank them both for their valuable time while wishing them well in their life outside DOU and hope it is indeed 100x better.

Council Expansion
Related to the last post, we have four new council members in Akaru Kokuyo, eragon, JRL, and zee! They are all strong players with unique and valuable insights into the metagame, and are sure to be positive additions going forwards.
Also, a big thank you to everyone who has took the the time to fill out the form, applying for council or hosting, it's a big help!

2024's Capstone Tournaments
The SV DOU Invitational and the DOU Oldgens Invitational are both live! Both tournaments are in the top 16 now, so if you're just tuning in, you've still got three more weeks of some of the format's best players playing some great games. Check them out!

Mix 'n' Mega Doubles is the Leader's Choice OM of the Month for December, and GSC Doubles OU is the Leader's Choice Pet Mod of the Season! MnM will be available until January 1st, and GSC DOU will be available until March 1st.
