With a new generation comes a new World Cup! Please note that the following information is preliminary and subject to change based on sign ups activity.
We are looking to add two more regions, so we have eight teams instead of six. The following teams will be:
- US WEST
- US EAST
- CANADA
- LATIN AMERICA (LATAM)
- EUROPE
- ASIA-PACIFIC AND REST OF THE WORLD (APAC)
- ITALY (new)
- US CENTRAL (new)
And just to be certain, if you're in US Central please include whether you would fall under West or East according to this map. We also ask players who played on West or East last year but fall under Central eligibility now to sign up for Central.
Similarly, all players with Chinese eligibility are asked to include that in their sign ups. We want to gauge interest and popularity of a hypothetical team China, which currently falls under APAC.
Aforementioned regions are subject to change based on sign ups. We are hoping to achieve eight starters and four substitutes per team. This number is also subject to change based on sign ups.
Signups will be open for two weeks, meaning you have until the 5th of December to sign up. The first round will go up then, which will follow the same structure as last year, but with a 4 team playoffs instead.
