In Doubles, does Intimidate reveal the speed order between the two opponents with the faster opponent being intimidated first?
Does Earth Quake reveal the speed of the mon hit or missed, including Levitate, Flying-Type, Fly/Dive and the like?

Yes to all

Is there a tool that shows which Trainer in Gen IV Heart Gold Soul Silver Tower can have which pokémon?
I want to look up who can have Ttar / Hippo + Garchomp. Thanks for the link, if there is one!

If its Garchomp vs. Latias + Metagross, will EQ from Garchomp deal 100% or 75% percentage to Metagross, as Latias can't be hit due to Levitate?

It will do 75% if there are multiple targets regardless of if they can be hit or not.

I believe explosion is a slightly goofy example where it can end up doing 100% to the last pokemon affected if everything else dies.

If I lead with Azelf and Alakazam in Doubles and Azelf hits Alakazam with Explosion and Alakazam uses Counter - who will take the damage? Not the remaning opponent by any chance?

Why do we call Gen 4 DPP when it's played with HGSS mechanics? It's like if we called Gen 6 XY instead of ORAS

Why don't we use BW2 or RSE or FRLG?

The smogon dex just uses the base games for all gens (DP), which seems more consistent.

I suspect the reason is it made a major difference if you hosted on D/P vs Platinum as there were major mechanic changes, specific pokemon D/P couldn't host like the Rotom forms and even balance changes with Hypnosis dropping to 60%. So differentiating from DP to DPP was considered important. HGSS didn't really introduce any of this and the new moves were all backwards compatible.

Because 99% of the metagame tools were already established by platinum. HGSS offered nothing new except for some moveset changes.

XY to ORAS had new megas which changed XY OU quite a bit where it transformed into ORAS.

About Explosion:
Azelf + Hitmonlee vs Zapdos + Bronzong.
Hitmonlee uses Helping Hand. Azelf uses Explosion. Zadpos goes down first and Hitmonlee survives thanks to its Focus Sash.
Does Bronzong take 75% or 100% damage?

100%. Boom was insane in gen 4 (miss it…) in doubles, it’s full damage. The doubles reduced power didn’t happen till after gen 4.

In Doubles, is there any guaranteed way to make the opponent flinch with paralysis + say air slash from togekiss with Serence Grace and Iron Head from Metagross with Razor Fang?
If not 100%, what is the best way to abuse paralysis?

There will always be a chance a move because each chance is calculated independtly.

Thanks for the answer.
I should have asked: Which combination comes closest to 100% flinch rate?

Obviously Fake out has a 100% flinch chance and is very popular in doubles.

Fling + kings rock also has a 100% flinch chance.

Weavile can Fake out + Fling to guarantee flinch the first two turns.

If you want to Flinch every turn. Jirachi + Dunsparce would have the best odds with Iron Head and Headbutt. Although you may find Jirachi + Togekiss more competitive.

If the opponent was paralysed and hit by Jirachi and Dunsparce it would have a 12% chance to move. Kings rock would reduce this to 9.7%.
