I want to give a huge s/o to my team for keeping their faith and carrying me despite the awful performances for the past 4 weeks on my end.
Also a massive thank you to Evuelf, RichardMillePlain, OreoSpeedruns and especially Seldanna (literally saved me today by forcing me to change my team last minute) for giving me a million test games and criticizing my teambuilding throughout the tour in the past 9 weeks.
SFG :fukyu:

Congratulations to zards, glad to see some great friends win the tour in my place. You guys put together a hell of a comeback run after your start, it was pretty cool to see.
It stings to lose this in finals for the third year in a row, but my players still deserve all the props in the world for making this another successful and fun season. You guys were all awesome, and I'm sorry I couldn't get us across the finish line yet again.

Regis stay rockin', see you guys next season.

Gz Tea makers Charizard !

For my Regi brothers, Ty for that awesome tour we had together. Ty for all the support you provided, even after the shitty start I had. Losing always sucks, especially like this, but it's been a long time since I had that much fun in a ttour. :blobnom: It was a pleasure to get to know all of you (except for one person, don't wan't to create some dramas so I won't say who it is). (it's susciety )

See you next year Regis!

We did it team,

After countless hours of strategizing, test games, and unwavering determination, we locked the fuck in and got the win. I couldn't be anymore proud of you guys.

This victory wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible guidance and support from our amazing team managers tho. I wanna thank eden and Dj Breloominati for the opportunity to be a part of the team. You guys should be proud as managers too; your support and insights gave the team the motivation it needed to keep its spirits high, even during the toughest of matchups. I wanna shoutout all the players who brought our team to greatness, particularly the OU core I had a hand in helping out. Every battle, every decision, and every switch played a crucial role in our success.

To my former franchise, the Regis. I'm sorry that this is the 3rd year in a row where you came up short for the win. You guys absolutely killed it this season and you all should be proud too, our success wouldn’t have been as meaningful without the formidable competition we faced. Knowing RageAgainstTheMagearna and Colteor personally, I believe that you guys are very lucky to have such great managers, especially those who may have team with them for the first time. Once we get new writers on the scene, next year will be your fucking year.

DPP PL is a tournament I look forward to every single year. It celebrates my all-time favourite generation of Pokemon by having its playerbase compete with each other to show its greatness. After two years of being a part of it, and despite not playing any games this season, it feels real damn good to win it for the first time.

See you all next year!

What a wild ride it has been. I can recall the primary incentive behind signing up for this tour being the funny teamnames that eden and I came up with (Laddoo Lucarios was a close second). We ended up with a draft that I was super happy with; pulling it back from such a rough start was only a testament to my belief. Some shoutouts for the people that made it possible

innisfree I was won over by the immaculate vibes of the tryouts itself, it only helped that eden was also pretty high on you (fossil see fossil like).
A very textbook player, your approach to the game is wonderful, and seldom seen nowadays. Had the utmost confidence in you throughout seeing the effort that you constantly put in every single week, heres to hoping that a day comes when avatar 59 is no longer oppressed

Quarante8 Im not one to believe in superstitions but you should never play before weekend bro lmao. Seeing such well piloted games go down the drain in 1 turn for multiple weeks was so frustrating as a spectator, but it never seemed to bother your psyche, a mental monster if I must say so myself. Your creative approach in the builder is also one of your biggest weapons, keep honing that and your razor sharp play and youll become someone to fear

64 Squares Was super happy to get you for cheap and team with you, and your early games were piloted superbly. You were unfortunately the guinea pig when it came to moving around slots and figuring out the optimal lu, but that was only because we had the utmost confidence that you could play any tier and offer a good challenge to the opponent. A little more involvement and you'd have been among the team's best records because youre that good, still happy to have teamed with you though :)

Lasen 12k is enough to fund a week-long stay in rural Japan, but here we ended up spending it on you. Its always super fun to team with you, and this time was no exception. Its a shame that you were busy for the first half of the tour, but you got that (activity) win when it mattered the most.
I'll take full credit for keeping you in semis lu despite you saying you were busy, because that momentum carried and you delivered one of the most clutch performances in finals. Fuck Piyu, youre a champion, heres to many more

Inspirited We were super surprised that we got you for so cheap at that point of the auction, but whos complaining :)
You usually dont see people put in this much effort in a side tour, but it was really lovely to see from afar. Week in and week out your approach to prep was fantastic, it was lovely to see how you continuosly polished whatever idea you had. I also appreciated the post-game analysis everytime win-or-lose. Good coordination with Lasen was the cherry on the cake, thanks for being one of the most reliable slots on the team!

skrimps Im always a believer that hard work beats talent. The sole reason that we stuck with you in lu even after the sloppy start was because of the tremendous effort that you kept putting, both in your slot and everywhere else. I also believe that its important to work smart, and Im sure youre aware of this - learning to be ok with loading imperfect teams on paper while backing your instinct can help you elevate your game further. You also definitely have the most aura on our team seeing how you won us both semis and finals with bastardly rng lmao, glad that you got to finally play in the slot that you wanted :)

Raichy I wont lie, we ended up getting you because I was trying to upbid zilo, but it ended up being a happy accident. First few weeks of the tour were rough, but Im glad you kept at it and worked on your play. I'd say we hit our stride midtour, you consistently winning those close endgames with whatever nonsense I passed you was an integral part of the momentum that we built up. The finals game in particular was very memorable lmfao. Enjoy this win bro, hoping to play with you again

BeatsBlack MVP. The only thing I was hell bent upon pre-auction was to get you and Drud, having seen you work so well with him in mags/zupl made me a day 1 believer. Eden was cracking up like crazy reading your name the first time, and your funny personality only adds to that. I think its safe to say you exceeded everyone's expectations, your meticulous prep and consistently good nicknames made you an auto-win slot for us most weeks. Jobs not finished though, we need to carry drud's bumass in PUPL

Drud One of my oldest friends on this website, Im glad that we could team again and win something together. Years of losing to random nonsense in tests moulded you into the definitive best DPP PU player ever, and now came another oppurtunity to abuse that. I never really had to think twice about your slot at any point of time, though you did end up frauding some games which I will not let you live down. Looking forward to another PUPL with you after this, Mags forever.

John Madden Your post above perfectly exhibits the warmth that you brought to the team. Though you didn't get to start, you still pitched in wherever possible and cheered for everyone always, which made it a joy to team with you. Heres to playing again in the future!

ojr Was super happy to get you onto the team, sorry that we ended up foddering you to LC though lol. Some of those games were genuinely insufferable, and there's not much else you could have done. Hopefully this makes up for that ADVPL tragedy

Mendeez Part 2 of the LC fodder. Your record certainly doesnt define you at all, we just ended up moving you around because we were confident in your abilities to play anywhere. I'd like to believe that the finals cheerleading came in super clutch. Lets play some more again, hopefully with you having a bigger role :)

mad dawg Sorry that we didnt get to start you. Enjoy and make do with this win because Australia isnt winning this time ;)

zf BloodAce sleid Thanks for agreeing to join our cord, and for pitching in wherever you could. Your suggestions were greatly appreciated !!

TSR Thanks for being there, hopefully you're now motivated to dust yourself off those calm registeels and actually play again :)

16bit Eden and I were super keen to get someone high end for bo3, and we both were super happy to have gotten you. You seamlessly fit in as the third manager and filled in for us wherever needed all throughout, and the way you lead the OU arsenal gave me great comfort that we were in good hands. Really enjoyed some of the final teams that you ended up making, hoping to team with you again in the future

eden Saved the best for last. We ended up becoming close after that wcop, and im glad it stayed that way. Managing with you was very fun because of how like minded we are, and I'd gladly do it again in a heartbeat, if the fossil fuel's office allows it that is. Cooking with you in UU particularly was very enjoyable, some of the stuff we made was downright criminal. There's too much to mention and if I dont stop soon it will definitely get sappy, so ill save it for later, but just know that I deeply appreciate and cherish you for being such a good friend

Hoping to make this a yearly thing given how fun this was. Spitfire out o7
