While Noivern's approach to this round is very direct, Porygon's is all about setting itself up for future advantage.

Noivern begins by taking a serious bite out of Porygon's health and following it up with a few modest Flying attacks. Porygon on the other hand claims the speed advantage for itself, removes Noivern's protection, and begins to give back some of the pain it received. Even with just that one offensive action, Porygon quickly cut Noiverns lead down drastically and threatens to do much more next round. How will Deadfox deal with the quickly changing battlefield before him?

Round 2: A Blaze of Glory
EM went through a fair amount of set up the previous turn while Deadfox focused on damage. How will their labors pay off this round?

Deadfox decides, rather than try and skirt around the fight, he would face it head on and set his Noivern on a rampaging Outrage! Empowered by EM's own Expert Belt and even taking advantage of Trick Room and Goodra's sticky nature, Resonate tore into its opponent with a vengeance. Goodra gamely threw out beams of ice and made sure Noivern was constantly hurt by its helmet but it just didn't quite pack the punch the gooey dragon needed to put its opponent down early.

Where before it had seemed like EM was building a bit of advantage, the pendulum seems to have swung firmly back in Deadfox's corner. While Deadfox is down a poke, EM has payed a serious price in exchange for first blood...

Round 4: Another One Falls
It looks like both trainers are settling into a slugging match. Porygon's Trick Room is helping Dragalge attack first but that also means the analytic program pokemon is having time to maximize its attacks, lets see who comes out on top!

Both pokemon begin by throwing solid attacks at their opponent. Porygon's attack was so harmful in fact it would have KOd the dragon if EM had ordered it again. Instead it attacks with a beam of ice. While the beam itself did less harm that the psychic attack preceding it, Dragalge became trapped in the ice the beam left behind! With no way out, Dragalge was left to helplessly watch Porygon line up the final attack.

Unfortunate turn for Deadfox here. He's down to his last pokemon and EM still has a fresh Fairy waiting in the wings. Will he be able to find victory with so little room left to maneuver?
