Access to moves such as Toxic Spikes and Taunt allows Drapion to provide a lot of utility for its team, while its good defensive typing, decent bulk, and good Speed tier allow it to check threats such as Roserade, Chandelure, Reuniclus, and Polteageist. However, it is outclassed by Incineroar as a bulky Dark-type due to the latter's better typing and ability in Intimidate, allowing it to more reliably check Chandelure and Doublade, while also facing competition from Roserade and offensive Galarian Weezing as a Toxic Spikes setter. Knock Off synergizes well with Toxic Spikes and lets Drapion punish switch-ins like Noivern, Escavalier, and Galarian Weezing. Earthquake prevents Lucario and Cobalion, which otherwise use Drapion as setup fodder, from freely switching in. Taunt enables Drapion to shut down opposing entry hazard setters such as Roserade and Bronzong as well as Defog users such as Mantine and defensive Galarian Weezing and prevent slower Pokemon like Umbreon and Vaporeon from using recovery. Toxic can be used over Toxic Spikes to more immediately punish switch-ins such as Milotic and Gigalith as well as foes that are immune to Toxic Spikes such as Noivern and Rotom-W. Shuca Berry can be used to check Earth Power variants of Celebi and Necrozma more easily; however, the passive recovery from Black Sludge is usually favored. 216 Speed EVs allow Drapion to outspeed Roserade, notably enabling it to Taunt it before it can use Sleep Powder, as well as Lucario.

Bulky Water-types like Jellicent, Rotom-W, and Vaporeon can deal with Rhyperior and Gigalith for Drapion and appreciate it checking Roserade for them. Jellicent can also check Cobalion and Escavalier for Drapion and pressure teams more easily through Taunt alongside Drapion's Toxic Spikes support. Sylveon and Vaporeon can provide Drapion with Wish support, as well as act as a check to Noivern. Tsareena, Celebi, and Machamp can apply pressure to Gigalith and Rhyperior and alleviate the pressure of handling Water-types such as Milotic and Rotom-W, with the former also providing Rapid Spin support and the latter two breaking Galarian Weezing. In return, Drapion can threaten Chandelure for them. Fast revenge killers like Flygon and Noivern highly appreciate Toxic Spikes wearing down walls like Milotic and Sylveon and can check threats to Drapion such as Haxorus, Cobalion, and Machamp. Wallbreakers like Escavalier and Cobalion appreciate Toxic Spikes helping them pressure their checks like Milotic and Jellicent more easily. Escavalier can also ease the matchup against Gardevoir, a Psychic-type that Drapion struggles to check due to its inability to pivot into its Fairy-type STAB moves. Gigalith stands out among Stealth Rock users, as it can alleviate pressure off Drapion of handling Chandelure and Noivern, and if running Heavy Slam, it can check Fairy-types like Sylveon and offensive Galarian Weezing. Reuniclus appreciates Drapion crippling Incineroar and Haze Milotic with Knock Off and Toxic Spikes, making it easier for it to sweep late-game. In return, Reuniclus can greatly ease the matchup against Fighting-types like Cobalion.

Thanks to its good defensive typing, support moveset, and great speed tier, Drapion is able to function as a decent Toxic Spikes setter and stallbreaker in UU. This whole first paragraph, but especially this opening statement is far too positive about Drapion's overall role in the tier, it faces massive competition from Incineroar as a bulky Dark-type, and from Weezing and Roserade as Tspikers, and this needs to be commented on. Also need to point out that its a Poison-type that can't check Sylveon.

You also should talk about the sort of stuff its typing and decent bulk allow it to check, like Espeon, Chandelure, and Reuniclus.

Knock Off synergizes well with Toxic Spikes as it lets Drapion cripple common Heavy-Duty Boots users such as Incineroar and Golisopod that would otherwise be able to switch into it comfortably throughout the match, Incineroar and Golisopod are never switching into Drapiion because they need their Boots, instead talk about it being able to remove the items from switch-ins like Escavalier and Weezing-Galar, and dissuade Noivern from trying to Defog on it as well as threaten targets like Chandelure, Necrozma, and Celebi. Earthquake lets Drapion handle Lucario, which otherwise walls it, as well as wear down switch-ins like Cobalion and threaten Toxtricity. Toxtricity is not going to try and come in on Drapion, its slower and needs its Specs/Throat Spray. Taunt enables Drapion to shut down opposing entry hazard setters and Defog users such as Roserade, Bronzong, and Galarian Weezing, as well as slower Pokemon like Umbreon, Vaporeon, and Doublade from using recovery or setting up. Toxic can be used over Toxic Spikes to more immediately punish switch-ins such as Milotic, Gigalith as well as foes that are immune to Toxic Spikes such as Noivern and Rotom-W. Poison Jab can be used over Earthquake to deal more offensive pressure to Gardevior, Sylveon, and Tsareena but it notably loses out on Lucario and Cobalion. Shuca Berry can be used to check Earth Power variants of Celebi and Necrozma more easily, however Drapion usually prefers the passive recovery from Black Sludge. 216 Speed EVs allow Drapion to outspeed Roserade and Lucario, with the rest invested in HP and Special Defense to increase its longevity and help it check targets like Chandelure more easily.

Drapion partners well with bulky Water-types such as Jellicent, Rotom-W, and Vaporeon that can handle Ground- and Rock-types that Drapion struggles against such as Rhyperior and Gigalith. The former is also notably capable of dealing with threats to Drapion like Cobalion, Machamp, I feel like this suggests you can actually switch into Machamp here, and you are reliant on your Colbur Berry to check it once you are in, consider replacing this example and Escavalier, and the latter can grant it more opportunities to set Toxic Spikes with Wish. All three greatly appreciate Drapion handling Grass-types such as Roserade and Celebi Earth Power is main slash on Celebi and cleanly 2hkos Drapion and greatly benefit from Toxic Spikes support allowing them to perform their tasks more easily. I'd reword this Toxic Spikes stuff as only Jellicent really benefits from it, Roserade is one of the best switch ins to all three of these and absorbs them well. Talk about how Jellicent can help keep them up with Taunt, and how it helps Jellicent break easier. Grass-types such as Tsareena and Celebi can also apply pressure to Gigalith and Rhyperior and alleviate the pressure of handling Water-types such as Milotic and Rotom-W, with the former also providing Rapid Spin support and the latter offensively checking Galarian Weezing (Celebi cannot switch into Weezing well). In return, Drapion can threaten Chandelure and Toxtricity and wear Incineroar down for them. Drapion cannot switch into Toxtricity, only threaten it out with the threat of losing its Specs/Throat Spray, and Celebi doesn't really have any issues with it, so idk if this mention is really worth it. Fast revenge killers like Flygon and Noivern highly appreciate Toxic Spikes support and can check threats to Drapion such as Haxorus, Machamp, and Cobalion. reorder this as Hax, Coba, Champ.

Add some teammates that can help break using the Toxic Spikes support, Escavalier in particular is an excellent choice since it provides another check to Psychic-types like Gardevoir. Consider mentioning other Pokemon like Doublade and Cobalion in this section too.

Try and get a mention of Machamp somewhere in the team options, since it pressures Rhyperior, Gigalith, and bulky Water-types excellently for Drapion.

Add Gigalith as a team option. Despite its decent bulk, Drapion is easily overwhelmed by Chandelure. Gigalith can help to Chandy and Noivern, and with Heavy Slam, can also help to check Sylveon and offensive Weezing-Galar.

Thanks to its good defensive typing, decent bulk, and good speed tier, Drapion is able to function as a passable Toxic Spikes setter mention its access to Taunt as part of the reason its a usable Tspikes setter that can also check threats such as Espeon, Chandelure, and Reuniclus. add Polteageist here too However, it is outclassed by Incineroar as a bulky Dark-type due to its better typing and ability Intimidate, allowing it to more reliably check Chandelure and check threats like Doublade and Escavalier, as well as access to Parting Shot allowing it to maintain momentum. It also faces competition from Roserade and offensive Galarian Weezing as a Toxic Spikes setter due to the former's better offensive presence and access to Sleep Powder, and the latter's better matchup against common entry hazard removers such as Noivern and defensive Galarian Weezing both of them have a good matchup versus a bunch off removers such as Washtom Noivern Weezing Tsareena, and both have a much better offensive presence, don't separate these Pokemon between the points . Knock Off synergies well with Toxic Spikes and lets Drapion punish switch-ins like Escavalier and Galarian Weezing and dissuade Noivern from trying to Defog on it. Earthquake prevents Lucario and Cobalion, which otherwise wall Drapion and can use it as setup fodder, from freely switching in. Taunt enables Drapion to shut down opposing entry hazard setters and Defog users such as Roserade, Bronzong, and defensive Galarian Weezing, mention Mantine as a fogger, consider splitting these up eg. "setters like Rose/Zong, Defog users like Weezing/Mantine" as well as prevent slower Pokemon like Umbreon and Vaporeon from using recovery. Toxic can be used over Toxic Spikes to more immediately punish switch-ins such as Milotic and Gigalith as well as foes that are immune to Toxic Spikes such as Noivern and Rotom-W. Poison Jab can be used over Earthquake to deal more offensive pressure to Gardevior, Sylveon, and Tsareena but it notably loses out on Lucario and Cobalion. Bulky Water-types like Jellicent, Rotom-W, and Vaporeon can deal with Rhyperior and Gigalith for Drapion, and appreciate it checking Roserade for them.mention Vaporeon's wish passing Jellicent can also check Cobalion and Escavalier for it, and pressure teams more easily through Taunt with its Toxic Spikes support. Add Sylveon as a team option, helps check Haxorus and Noivern, and another great wish passer for Drapion. Grass-types such as Tsareena and Celebi can also apply pressure to Gigalith and Rhyperior and alleviate the pressure of handling Water-types such as Milotic and Rotom-W, with the former also providing Rapid Spin support and the latter offensively checking Galarian Weezing. In return, Drapion can threaten Chandelure for them. Add Machamp here as another Pokemon that pressures Waters and Giga/Rhyp, that can also pressure Escavalier and Weezing for Drapion. Fast revenge killers like Flygon and Noivern highly appreciate Toxic Spikes wearing down walls like Milotic and Sylveon and can check threats to Drapion such as Haxorus, Cobalion, and Machamp. Wallbreakers like Escavalier, Doublade, and Cobalion appreciate Toxic Spikes helping them pressure their checks like Milotic and Jellicent more easily. Escavalier can also act as a secondary switch-in to Psychic-types like Gardevoir and can knock Off Incineroar's Heavy-Duty Boots. Gigalith stands out among Stealth Rock users as it can alleviate Drapion's pressure of handling Chandelure and Noivern, and if running Heavy Slam, check Fairy-types like Sylveon and offensive Galarian Weezing.

Access to moves such as Toxic Spikes and Taunt allows Drapion to provide a lot of utility for its team while its Thanks to its good defensive typing, decent bulk, and good speed tier bolstered by its access to Taunt, Drapion is able to function as a passable Toxic Spikes setter that can also allow it to check threats such as Espeon Roserade, Chandelure, Reuniclus, and Polteageist. Roserade is a big one that I deem to be what lets it stand out from Incineroar. I rearranged this because I think it just flows a lot better. However, it is outclassed by Incineroar as a bulky Dark-type due to its better typing and ability in Intimidate, allowing it to more reliably check Chandelure and Doublade and Escavalier, as well as access to Parting Shot. while It also facinges competition from Roserade and offensive Galarian Weezing as a Toxic Spikes setters. due to their better offensive presence and superior matchup against entry hazard removers such as Rotom-W, Tsareena, and Noivern, as well as the former's access to Sleep Powder. This just felt too wordy so I just want it cut down. Knock Off synergies well with Toxic Spikes and lets Drapion punish switch-ins like Escavalier and Galarian Weezing and dissuade Noivern from trying to Defog on it. Just include Noivern in the initial list Earthquake prevents Lucario and Cobalion, which otherwise use Drapion as setup fodder, from freely switching in. Taunt enables Drapion to shut down opposing entry hazard setters such as Roserade and Bronzong as well as Defog users such as Mantine and defensive Galarian Weezing, and prevent slower Pokemon like Umbreon and Vaporeon from using recovery. Toxic can be used over Toxic Spikes to more immediately punish switch-ins such as Milotic and Gigalith as well as foes that are immune to Toxic Spikes such as Noivern and Rotom-W. Poison Jab can be used over Earthquake to deal more offensive pressure to Gardevior, Sylveon, and Tsareena but it notably loses out on Lucario and Cobalion Frankly I don't think this is worth it to be walled by cobalion. Shuca Berry can be used to check Earth Power variants of Celebi and Necrozma more easily, however the passive recovery from Black Sludge is usually favored. 216 Speed EVs allow Drapion to outspeed Roserade and Lucario. Mention it can prevent rose putting it to sleep with taunt, that is one of the main reasons you want to be faster.

Bulky Water-types like Jellicent, Rotom-W, and Vaporeon can deal with Rhyperior and Gigalith for Drapion, and appreciate it checking Roserade for them. Jellicent can also check Cobalion and Escavalier for it, and pressure teams more easily through Taunt with its Toxic Spikes support, and Vaporeon can notably give Drapion more opportunities to set Toxic Spikes with Wish. This feels like it is tacked on. Sylveon and the aforementioned Vaporeon can support support provide Drapion with Wish support, as well as act as a check to Haxorus and Noivern. Reword this bit to fit accordingly, you could solely mention they both check Noivern for simplicity. Tsareena, Celebi, and Machamp can apply pressure to Gigalith and Rhyperior and alleviate the pressure of handling Water-types such as Milotic and Rotom-W, with the former also providing Rapid Spin support and the latter two offensively checking Just say they can break Galarian Weezing. In return, Drapion can threaten Chandelure for them. Fast revenge killers like Flygon and Noivern highly appreciate Toxic Spikes wearing down walls like Milotic and Sylveon and can check threats to Drapion such as Haxorus, Cobalion, and Machamp. Wallbreakers like Escavalier, Doublade, These two really aren't considered wallbreakers, especially with the former not running SD much. Use other examples. and Cobalion appreciate Toxic Spikes helping them pressure their checks like Milotic and Jellicent more easily. Escavalier can also act as a secondary switch-in to Psychic-types like Gardevoir and can knock off Incineroar's Heavy-Duty Boots. This latter bit is irrelevant when it can do it itself, I would also make a bigger deal of it making up for Drapion's inability to check Gardevoir well because of it not resisting its Fairy STAB. Gigalith stands out among Stealth Rock users as it can alleviate Drapion's pressure of handling Chandelure and Noivern, and if running Heavy Slam, check Fairy-types like Sylveon and offensive Galarian Weezing.

Add a line on late-game cleaners that appreciate the toxic spikes support like Reuniclus.
