Dynasty

This is a team i have been testing for a few days, i started with a completely different team and made changes as i saw necessary. i am willing to try jellicent over skarmory as a WoW user but i dont like jellicent that much so other suggestions would be helpful. also i have noticed an overall problem with Physical fire users as well as fighting types.

Infernape (M) @ Choice Band
Trait: Blaze
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Close Combat
- Flare Blitz
-Mach Punch
- U-turn/ThunderPunch

Infernape is easily one of my favorite pokemon. I like to lead with the scarf version as a sort of anti lead. He punishes most hazard users and when he doesn't, he is easily fast enough to u turn to a check/counter. Flare blitz and close combat are incredibly powerful moves that have incredible coverage. earthquake is for even more coverage. I thought about thunderpunch in order to stop gyrados, but a stabbed close combat does more to most waters then thunderpunch will andy way, so for now im using u turn.
He has great synergy with my team as his flying weakness is covered by skarmory, ground covered by skarmory, psychic covered by alakazam skarmory and ferrothorn and water is covered by ferrothorn.

Ferrothorn (F) @ Leftovers/Rocky Helmet
Trait: Iron Barbs
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SDef
Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Stealth Rock
- Leech Seed
- Power Whip
- Thunder Wave

Ferrothorn is the most over used pokemon in this generation for a good reason. He has the ability to be a choice banded sweeper, dual tank and hazard supporter. for my set, i went with a physical tank with lefties and leech seed for massive recovery every turn. s rock for obvious hazards and t wave to cripple counters on the switch. p whip for stab and to prevent being taunt walled.
Ferrothorn's weakness to fire and fighting are covered by infernape, although banded sweepers are scary becuase infernape is pretty frail. blissey can take any special fire from the likes of dragons and gensect. also conkeldurr can take fighting attacks.

Alakazam (M) @ Life Orb
Trait: Magic Guard
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Psyshock
- Recover
- Calm Mind
- Focus Blast

I am absolutely in love with Alakazam. he makes a great late game sweeper as well as a great status absorber. he renders WoW and Toxic useless and proceeds to set up. If i am able to get rid of all physical threats and resisters to both psychic + ghost namely dark and steel, then its GG. Calm Mind is the obvious booster for a sweep while allowing me to render opposing special attackers useless. recover heals after a few calm minds. Psyshock is stab and keeps special walls from stopping my sweep. shadow ball for coverage. Focus miss receives a mention for near perfect coverage but i hate 70%.
Alakazam's weakness to bug is covered by Infernape and Skarmory perfectly while its weakness to psychic and ghost are normally covered by Blissey or Ferrothorn/Skarmory depending on physical/special attack.

Skarmory (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Sturdy
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SDef / 252 Def
Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Spikes
- Whirlwind
- Roost
- Brave Bird

Skarmory is the most expendable poke in this team. i honestly accidentally went with the SkarmBliss core because i did a lot of testing and changed my team up before posting this RMT, but i didn't know what to change. Skarmory is my spikes hazard user and is very good at stopping boosters/racking up damage with whirlwind. brave bird is simply there because i have no flying moves other wise similar to power whip on Ferrothorn. Roost is obviously for healing. once again i am more open to switching this guy then any other guy on my team.
Skarmory's weakness to electric is easily covered by Ferrothorn, but his fire weakness is not so easy... if its a special attack i will switch to Blissey, if it is physical i will either go to Infernape, but most likely allow him to die because i don't want to risk a dead revenge killer.

Blissey (F) @ Leftovers
Trait: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SAtk / 252 SDef
Calm Nature (+SDef, -Atk)
- Heal Bell
- Wish/SoftBoiled
- Protect/Toxic
- Ice Beam

Blissey is obviously the special wall. i chose to go full SDef because i do not plan on allowing it to take any physical hits any ways. Heal Bell is there because my team has a big weakness to thunder wave. It is the only status the cripples Alakazam and can mess up Conkeldurr, Infernape and Skarmory pretty easily. Wish and protect for obvious stalling and wish passing. I am not sure whether to keep wish or replace it with softboiled and toxic. Ice beam is for dragons as i have no super effective attacks against them without it.
Blissey has only one weakness- fighting, which is covered by Infernape Skarmory and Conkeldurr. her problem with physical attacks is also covered by Skarmory and Ferrothorn as long as that attack is not fire.

Conkeldurr (F) @ Flame Orb
Trait: Guts
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 SDef
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Drain Punch
- Mach Punch
- Bulk Up
- Payback

Pretty standard Conkeldurr set. Flame orb and Guts for a killer attack boost because I'm pretty sure it is more powerful then life orb? Drain Punch to try and make up for the burn damage. Mach Punch is my only priority, and a strong one at that. SDef EVs couple with bulk up to increase longetivity as well as helping sweep. payback hits ghosts that fighting flies through. Once again, he is incredibly standard.
his weakness to psychic is covered by my steels and Alakazam and his weakness to flying is covered well by Skarmory

Currently testing over conkeldurr:
Machamp (M) @ Lum Berry
Trait: No Guard
EVs: 240 HP / 248 Atk / 16 SDef / 4 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- DynamicPunch
- Bullet Punch
- Ice Punch
- Payback

Any suggestions are welcome! also how do i put images and sprites in the message? i saw a link to a website earlier while reading through other articles but i cant remember where i saw it or what the URL was.
Changes bold and underlined

Nice team you got here. However, there are some flaws to this team and I'll guide you through on what is the threat, why is it a threat, and how to solve the threat.

First, I will mention any changes to each pokemon and list the threats of that pokemon and the solution to counter it.

Solutions will in bold and underlined and under the threat.

So let's start!

Infernape: This set seems awkward. Infernape shouldn't be scarfed because its already fast. What it needs is power to destroy the opponent's lead. Also why do you need Earthquake in your set? You already have moves that can counter steel types why need Earthquake?

I recommend this set.

name: Physical Attacker
move 1: Flare Blitz / Fire Punch
move 2: Close Combat
move 3: Stone Edge / Mach Punch
move 4: U-turn
item: Choice Band / Life Orb
nature: Adamant / Jolly
evs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe

Flare Blitz is a powerful move and provides STAB, while on the other hand, Fire Punch provides a safe move that doesn't have recoil.

Close Combat also provides STAB and hits hard on Heatran that laughs at Infernape.

Stone Edge can hit Flying-types who also laugh at Infernape but the low accuracy can be a problem. Mach Punch gives you priority that OHKO Tyranitar leads before they can set-up Stealth Rock.

U-turn can be used to safely retreat when Infernape can't take on the opponent such as Starmie, Azelf, or Deoxys-S.

Threats...
Dugtrio can be a main problem since it can trap Infernape with its ability.
Solution: I really don't know if this works but U-turn might let you escape. I know for sure that Baton Pass can let you switch out but don't know about U-turn. I'll update this once I found out.

Excadrill is faster than Infernape if you run this set and can Earthquake Infernape to death.
Solution: Switching to Skarmory is the best thing to do since you can set-up Spikes because Excadrill can't do anything to Skarmory.

Bulky Water-types can absorb all your hits and can easily K.O. Infernape. These include Gyrados, Rotom-W, or Politoed.
Solution: Gyrados can be easily killed with Stone Edge, Rotom-W is a threat so all you can do is switch since you have no moves to K.O. it, Politoed is a threat since most of them run scarf sets so switch out.

Flying-types are also a threat since most of them are faster than Infernape. These include Staraptor, Swellow, and the uncommon Pidgeot.
Solution: Switch out since they are likely to use Brave Bird but you don't have to worry since these pokemons are not common in the OU metagame.

Tip: Infernape isn't a good lead but it is still viable and can be unexpected to most opponents since most run Tyranitar or Abomasnow as their lead.

Ferrothorn: This set is a common one but there are some changes that you should make to make it effective.

First, replace Thunder Wave with Gyro Ball since Ferrothorn won't be surviving in battle for long because everyone has at least one pokemon to counter it.

Why Gyro Ball you ask? Because the speed stat determines Gyro Ball's base power. Since Ferrothorn is really slow then the base power increases which can even K.O. Lati@s.

Also replace Leftovers with Rocky Helmet since that tiny amount of HP restored won't make a difference because everyone these days aim to OHKO Ferrothorn.

Rocky Helmet is effective because it can counter Life Orb Dragonite that uses Outrage. Life Orb does recoil damage, Iron Barbs also damages them, and Rocky Helmet adds more.

Threats...
There are so many threats for this pokemon I won't even bother listing it since everyone has a pokemon to counter it.

Alakazam: This is a nice set. I see no problems with this.

- Shadow Ball/Focus Blast
I see your having trouble on this. Well personally, I would choose Focus Blast since Blissey can wall you even if you have Psyshock and Focus Blast stops Ferrothorn from walling you. Also Gengar will try to stop Alakazam but you can K.O. it with Psyshock since its weak to it. Shadow Ball can take care of Jellicent or Dusclops but thats your choice.

Threats...
Like I said before Ferrothorn can wall you since it can resists all your moves.
Solution: Focus Blast is the only effective move that can hit Ferrothorn. This is why Focus Blast is chosen over Shadow Ball.

If you chose Focus Blast over Shadow Ball then Dusclops or Jellicent can wall Alakazam.
Solution: Well if you don't have Shadow Ball you have to switch because even with two Calm Minds won't destroy Eviolite Dusclops. If you do have Shadow Ball then feel free to hit them with it. Although, make sure you set-up like one Calm Mind to K.O. Eviolite Dusclops.

Scarfed Latias can K.O. Alakazam with Draco Meteor. Even Specs Latios can outspeed you and K.O. it with Draco Meteor.
Solution: Scarfed Latias won't be able to K.O. Alakazam if you have a few Calm Minds set-up but Scarfed Latios can so the best thing you can do is switch out.

Nasty Plot Thundurus is also a threat while you set-up Calm Mind it can set-up Nasty Plot and it can outspeed you with Timid nature.
Solution: Switching. You can't handle it. Switch to Blissey.

Sucker Punch is also a threat since it can K.O. Alakazam due to its paper defenses.
Solution: Keep spamming Calm Mind until your opponent runs out of PP for Sucker Punch or they noticed that your just setting up.

Skarmory: Common set... I see nothing wrong with it so I think its fine.

Threats...
Infernape is a problem. Flare Blitz or Fire Punch to death.
Solution: Switch. You can't do anything or set-up Spikes since Sturdy keeps you alive.

Volcarona can K.O. it with Fiery Dance.
Solution: Switch or set-up Spikes and sacrifice or set up Stealth Rock instead which can lower Volcarona's HP down to half.

Bulky Water-types like Politoed or Rotom-W can Hydro Pump Skarmory to death.
Solution: You can probably survive and set-up Spikes. Sturdy helps you anyway.

Tip: Instead of 4 EVs on Atk. You can also add 4 EVs to SpDef allowing you to survive some special attacks. Skarmoy shouldn't be attacking it should be supporting your team.

Blissey: There are some suggestions that you should consider.

I am not sure whether to keep wish or replace it with softboiled and toxic
Keep Wish and Protect since Wish can be passed on to your team members.

Threats...
Blissey is also one of those common pokemon that everyone should expect to counter it. No need to list the threats since Fighting-types are the only threats, that you should know, to Blissey.

Tip: Seismic Toss can be replaced over Ice Beam. But that's your choice.

Conkeldurr: Standard set. Replace Flame Orb with Toxic Orb since it does less damage at the beginning.

Threats...
Flying-types are serious threats since most of them are fast enough to destroy your Conkeldurr.
Solution: If you already have Bulk-Up set-up then you should be fine but if you don't then switch to Dusclops.

Banded Scizor can 2HKO Conkeldurr with Bullet Punch.
Solution: You can try to eliminate it before it eliminates Conkeldurr but if it can't handle it then switch out.

Special Attacks such as Volcarona or Thundurus can sweep Conkeldurr.
Solution: Stone Edge can defeat Volcarona and Thundurus. It would be great if you had Bulk Up set-up first.

Tip: Conkeldurr can also be replaced with Mienshao, Machamp, or Scrafty. If you are planning to replace Conkeldurr with any of these options then here are the sets you should use. Also it would be better if Conkeldurr was in Trick Room for best results.

Scrafty
name: Dragon Dance
move 1: Dragon Dance
move 2: Hi Jump Kick / Drain Punch
move 3: Crunch
move 4: Ice Punch / Taunt
item: Life Orb / Leftovers
ability: Moxie / Shed Skin
evs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
nature: Jolly

Mienshao
name: All-Out Attacker
move 1: Hi Jump Kick
move 2: U-turn
move 3: Hidden Power Ice
move 4: Fake Out / Stone Edge
item: Life Orb
nature: Naive / Hasty
ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpA / 252 Spe

Machamp
name: Physical Attacker
move 1: DynamicPunch
move 2: Payback
move 3: Bullet Punch
move 4: Ice Punch / Stone Edge
item: Lum Berry
ability: No Guard
nature: Adamant
evs: 240 HP / 248 Atk / 16 SpD / 4 Spe

If you need an explanation with the set then VM or PM me about it and I'll help you out. =)

That is my rate and suggestions. If you see anything wrong with my rate please inform me.

If you have any questions or concerns you can contact via VM or PM.

Well... I hope my suggestions were helpful.

I changed my infernape set as you suggested and i agree with the change... although i cant revenge as many pokemon, the band definitely helps 2HKO pokemon i wouldnt otherwise take out.
i, however, disagree with gyro ball. ferrothorn is ment to be a tank and there are a lot of pokemon that can not touch him. with that being said i switch into a pokemon that cant touch ferrothorn and thunder wave the counter. since they are usually sweepers, thunder wave effectively cripples them. i will try rocky helmet.
i have added focus miss over shadow ball
i have changed the EVs on skarmory
i am currently testing machamp over conkeldurr, but can i ask why 16 SpD instead of 252 HP and Atk?

Also i would welcome any more suggetsions and a way to put in sprites.
