E3 2009 Conferences Thread

Don't quote the picture please.

Also, I've just learned that Johnny Chung Lee was hired by Microsoft and is a part of Project Natal. Damn. It went from "yeah cool coming day in the future" to something I'm looking forward to! For those who can't remember, Lee is the one who created those cool Wii applications where he reversed the WiiMote and sensor bar - like the head tracking application.

FUCK YEAH SCRIBBLENAUTS. I'm really looking forward to when it finally comes out. I hope they get really obscure words in the game.

I am dying on the inside waiting for the release of this game. It is almost as if Jeremiah ripped the idea from my mind. This is literally a fantasy of mine becoming reality. I would trade the ability to play Bioshock 2 and the next game in the Phoenix Wright series to get this game now.

Sadly I think the game will get minimum advertisment. Although with any luck it will still be relatively successful.

I really hope they include a lot of fictional items. I know a shrink ray was confirmed, so I am hoping they have tractor/repulsion beams, and freeze rays.

about the picture, notice that Link isn't holding the master sword and that the spirit has a similar design? also pumped about Natal now that lee is involved

Kind of see were you're coming from but I think it looks more like a male great fair from Wind Waker... huh.

My guess is that it's a spirit that lives inside the Master Sword. If so, it'll probably take the role of navi/midna in the game. You may have to use it to help solve some puzzles.

Another theory:

It takes the place of the master sword in this game, and it can possibly take the form of multiple weapons. This one is unlikely, but it's a cool idea.

Having to go back to the same freaking dungeon all the time was annoying as as hell though. And sailing was only slightly less boring then it was in WW, and that's because you have less area to travel.

At least in Wind Waker you could teleport after the gods temple. Do you even get a chance to teleport in PHG?

Edit: Yeah actually I remember you get that whole symbols system. Ugh that sucked so much
