Eat Food, Nao [OU RMT]

My first post here, Im still learning the concepts of competitive battling but Ill start with my SS team.

hippowdon.png

Hippowdon @ Leftovers
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 252 HP / 168 Def / 88 SDef
Impish nature
- Stealth Rock
- Slack Off
- Earthquake
- Roar
Meet the Hippo of Doom. Not that I've ever swept with this thing but it does what it does best efficiently, being a physical wall =D. Stealth Rock to ruin stupid sashes and together with Sandstorm can destroy teams very efficiently with secondary damage. Slack Off for instant healing and Earthquake for STAB. My team lacks a way to deal with Baton Pass so Roar deals with BPers. Hippowdon generally sets up the field.

rotomheat.png

Rotom-h @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 168 Def / 88 Spd
Bold nature
- Thunderbolt
- Shadow Ball
- Overheat
- Will-o-wisp
This guy is here for some multiple reasons. First, since my house lacks an oven, Im sentencing this guy to animal cruelty. Next he blocks anyone who decide to rapid spin my entry hazards away. With WoW and overheat, he makes Scizor think twice about switching in. Thunderbolt and Shadow Ball for generally STAB and attacking moves.

forretress.png

Forretress @ Shed Shell
Ability: Sturdy
EVs: 252 HP / 112 Atk / 144 Def
Relaxed nature
- Spikes
- Gyro Ball
- Rapid Spin
- Explosion
Also hear for a crapload of reasons. Spikes the field for another round of entry hazards. Gyro Ball for obvious reasons and if you can't think of one, you're on your own. Rapid spin to take out my Hazard-Weak and Explosion on something worthwhile =D.

metagross.png

Metagross @ Choice Band
Ability: Clear Body
EVs: 252 HP / 236 Atk / 12 Def / 8 Spd
Adamant nature
- Meteor Mash
- Earthquake
- Explosion
- Ice Punch
IMO, he gets the job done better then Salamence but thats debatable. Sky High attack backed with a reliable STAB attack with chances to increase my overall attack just makes my day. Earthquake for poison, electric, etc. Ice Punch for Flyings and Zapdos whom conviniently gives me problems. Explosion for the same reasons as Forry =D.

porygon2.png

Porygon2 @ Leftovers
Ability: Trace
EVs: 252 HP / 216 Def / 40 SAtk
Bold nature
- Thunderbolt
- Ice Beam
- Recover
- Toxic
In my past experience, this thing looks like a rubber duck. This thing helps with my massive Gyara and Heatran weak. Also deals with Sala on numerous occasions and e-vire occasionally. Thunderbolt > Discharge cuz it definitely wants more power.

umbreon.png

Umbreon @ Leftovers
Ability: Synchronize
EVs: 252 HP / 164 Spd / 92 SDef
Careful nature
- Wish
- Payback
- Toxic
- Protect
For some stupid reason, people never use this thing =/. This thing just mocks all phychic moves. My Wishpasser obviously, toxic for the status section, protect to heal, let wish do its job and toxic to intensify. Payback for general STAB =D.

The Strategy
Teams arent fun if they don't have a strategy. The main idea with this thingymabobberthingbobthingbobbobthingbobthingbob team is to set up hazards, weaken the opposing team, keep the fields clear and then set Metagross loose. Easy Peasy, got it?

Thnx for reading all that crap, and if you're here, that means you actually read it all, or skipped it all. All comments will be noted and considered, have fun rating/killing/murdering/ripping apart mai team =3.

You have a ridicolous weakness to Infernape, every memebr of your team can be OHKO'ed (barring Hippowdon which is 2hko'ed by grass knot and Rotom, which is 2hko'ed by fire blast) and none can revenge kill it.
Sadly Umbreon in OU is a failure,so I suggest you to replace it with the standard support Tentacruel listed in the analysis.
If you want to keep a wish passer, then just use Vaporeon, however.
Besides that, your team is really slow (which is not a big problem for a stall team), just beware of set-up sweeper like Lucario and co.
Hope this helps.

Set-up sweepers I do have some problems with but Lucario imo is rarely seen but I can switch in hippo, roar away, and heal back the damage, spikes plays a very important role.

I have to say I havent run into Infernape yet but on paper, it is an incredibly viable threat, I might run Tentacruel > Forry but Im not too sure which set to run.

Umbreon is not OU failure >=[

Thnx for teh post dood

Indeed Lucario and Infernape are very common pokemons, according to march stats Infernape is 5ht in usage while Lucario is 11th.

Anyway, the Tentacruel set I was suggesting is:

Tentacruel@leftovers
nature: calm
trait: liquid ooze
EVs: 252 hp\ 120 def\ 136 sp. def
- toxic spikes
- rapid spin
- surf
- ice beam\ sludge bomb

Replace Forretress or Umbreon with that.

Looking again at your team I also noticed that you may have some problems with Gengar. So, you could replace ice punch on Metagross (which is useful only for Zapdos) with pursuit, to, at least, revenge kill the said Gengar and Latias.
