Eelektross @ Assault Vest
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SpA / 4 SpD
Modest Nature
- Volt Switch
- Flamethrower
- Giga Drain
- Knock Off

Eelektross is easily the best user of Assault Vest in PU and can bring several key attributes to any team. Volt Switch allows its team to gain momentum through pivoting and turns Eelektross's slow Speed into an asset, as frail wallbreakers such as Zangoose are granted free switch-ins. Although most users of Volt Switch struggle with Electric immunities, Lightning Rod users like Togedemaru and Ground-types such as Gastrodon cannot switch in safely due to Eelektross's fantastic coverage options of Flamethrower and Giga Drain. Knock Off cripples many of the Pokemon that can safely switch into Eelektross's other three moves, such as Clefairy and Type: Null. Eelektross's excellent natural bulk combined with Assault Vest allows it to pivot in and out of a match over and over, racking up Volt Switch damage and removing items. Its only flaws are a lack of recovery and being pressured by strong physical attackers like Stoutland, but these are made up for by how many dangerous attackers Eelektross keeps in check. The ability to check strong Flying-types such as Oricorio-G and Swanna is somewhat rare in the PU metagame, ensuring that Eelektross finds its spot on a wide variety of teams.

PU Leader
sorry for putting this off.

there isn't really much wrong with this, just add like a quick bit about a teammate that would pair well with eel (like a breaker that appreciates the slow volt switch, etc.), mention smth about a lack of recovery leaving it worn down fast, and put giga drain before flamethrower in the part towards the beginning since gastro is mentioned before toge, and that's all i could find. 1/1.

e: adding stamp bc i finally got my stamp :D

Eelektross is easily the best user of the Assault Vest in PU and can bring several key attributes to any team. Volt Switch is a strong pivoting move which (don't need to say what volt does) allows its team to gain momentum through pivoting and turns Eelektross's slow Speed into an asset, (AC) as frail wallbreakers such as Zangoose are are granted free switch-(AH)ins. Although most users of Volt Switch struggle with Electric immunities, Ground-types and Lightning Rod users like Togedemaru and Ground-types such as Gastrodon cannot switch in safely due to Eelektross's fantastic coverage options of Flamethrower and Giga Drain. Knock Off is an excellent utility option as well, as it cripples many of hte the Pokemon which that can safely switch into Eelektross's other three moves, such as Clefairy and Type: Null. Eelektross's excellent natural bulk combined with Assault Vest allows it to pivot in and out of a match over and over despite its lack of reliable recovery, (said later) racking up Volt Switch damage and removing items. Its only flaws are a lack of recovery and being pressured by strong physical attackers like Stoutland, but these are made up for by how many dangerous attackers Eelektross keeps in check. The ability to check strong Flying-types such as Oricorio-G and Swanna is somewhat rare in the PU metagame, and ensures ensuring that Eelektross finds its spot on a wide variety of teams.
