Egg move question

dont know if this is in the correct section, if not somebody please move it, so heres the pretty simple question..... how can i give nidoking egg moves? im wanting a nidoking with amnesia...dont ask why XD but...they are all 100% males so they can only breed with ditto >.<

Nidorina, maybe? They're the same species, in terms of eggs, just like the fireflies.

nidorina wont work, it will give a Nidoran Female.... its a very valid question... I'm on it (dont say thats what she said)

Edit: It does say that you obtain it from slowpoke but with Nidoking always being male there is no way for it to physically get egg moves...

It's impossible to give Nidoking egg moves, because, as you said, it's male. Also, use this thread for questions like this in the future.

ok thanks all... but even i think its imposible, on emulators like shoddy you can give him egg moves XD and all the internet sections tell you can.... but couldnt find how >.<

the offspring of female nidoran can qither be male or female, im pretty sure.

Hmm, I hadn't thought of that. It is possible, I suppose.... The only thing is that Amnesia is not an egg move for Nidoran - F, but it is for Nidoran - M. How does that work?

yeah... still if they male + female nidoran theory is correct nidoran female cant get many of nidoking egg moves and vice-versa or however its said xD

I think the way that would work is that the female offspring would have different moves than the male offspring. It sounds kind of weird when you think about it, but the entire point of the nidorans is to represent sexual dimorphism in pokemon to an extreme extent, and having all the nidoran-M's being born with a move that the F's weren't being born with is pretty dimorphed to me.

That is actually a highly possible solution the Queen+Slowpoke w/amnesia = Possible King?

Yeah. Nidoran-F with a Male that knows Amnesia, say Slowpoke, Psyduck etc and hope that the egg produced is a Nidoran-M, as the chance of the offspring being Male or Female is still 50% either way.
