To respond: yes I disagree with Peum no voting but I don’t think “I disagree” is a bad reason to vote for Peum… this time. Sure I disagree with other people on other things but I think in this setup we actively need information more than ever via voting due to the nightkill being based around voting mechanics. Peum is trying to no vote, meaning that he is trying to stop us from getting information that I think would be beneficial to town. This is kind of scummy to me, and when there’s little else to go on for day one, that’s what’s leading me towards a Peum vote

It just seems poor in this context, because aside from the no vote, there's tons of other analysis in his posts. Furthermore it seems contradictory to the way you've read Jalmont as not being scum because he's drawing too much attention to himself to be one. Versus Peum, drawing tons of attention to himself trying to get folks to no vote as being scum, when as maf he could just not say anything at all. I feel like maf would rather lynch every day to get closer to their wincon, then purposely stall the game with a no vote.

EDITED FOR GRAMMAR

Feel like fairy and Miyami have been present but not really having much content relative to my expectations so I'd ship them out first (even if my read on them isn't too strong) and then everyone else is NAI
buddy it's four pages in
despite a mini crash out I'm on a fairy's side here in that I don't particularly care for jalmont saying what he said about leaving the thread for a few days... though I think this has to be related to a town-leaning role. jalmont has been around long enough to know that saying something like that would draw attention to him, and also knows that voting off inactives is something that We Do Here a lot of the time (especially early game), so unless this is a one million IQ play from him I think this is something to do with a town role, not a scum role.

as for who I might vote for, anyone who wants to no vote D1 is on my radar. I really think we need info and halting that kind of progress is scummy to me
Jalmont hates D1 and essentially never tries on it, he's just being more annoying about it this time.

Overall on the "acting how I'd expect town them to act" scale I'd say Realiti, Jalmont, and af are the most up there, even if Jalmont isn't exactly helpful. Peum feels a lot less aggressive in his gameplay and wording than I've come to expect from him. I think the idea of no voting to see if mafia can actually kill us is incredibly flawed (there's literally no way the hosts would approve a setup where mafia can fail a kill via town no voting, and people already have votes on them anyways today meaning there's probably a viable kill target?). I wanna say it's more "somewhat ill concieved" than actual scum but his fairly contrarian read list also gives me pause. I think Phoopes is playing very fence-sitty, especially with regards to Jalmont. His posts feel like testing the waters to see what he can get away with more than a real conviction right now. I don't disagree that no vote is bad but I'm not sure Phoopes inherently does either and just wants to create pressure on that slot, you know?

Since I'm in danger of being voted out, I have a protective role. I can block anything that targets a player at the cost of my target not being able to vote during the next day. I can self target and will be doing that tonight since I expect to die otherwise.
