oh by the way im passing here to say that I did sign up for low prio so dont expect a lot of long posts from me, I'll try to be as active as possible but my mafia universe game is in 2 days and the tourgames are piling up lol.

Ah, I figured it out, it was the "also knows that voting off inactives is something that We Do Here a lot of the time (especially early game)" that was getting me actually, feels like intentional shade.

I find it odd Phoopes assumes Jals morivation in saying hed AFK is role based. The assumption being that Jal is a cop like role who wants to coast? I find that unlikely. Null on Phoopes but odd thing to say. I doubt phoopes / Jal are S/S in this interaction.

It feels like intentionally shading Jal in a way that sounds like defending but explains the exact situation that Jal could post all that he's posted and be S. Words hard. Defending without defending. If he flips T then oh Phoopes defended him first, if he flips S then Phoopes explained exactly why he could have been S and it happened to be true. Towny points awarded either way

Fair, the phoopes defense of Jal is odd either way. I just assume scum wouldn't be so quick to try and insinuate their teammate has a PR and try to also preemptively defend them from lurking accusations. It would ve pretty funny if phoopes really is trying to do damage control for Jal as hes trolling.

Anyways, as my statement done before, a No Vote helps us narrow us down mafia killcons while helping invests have free turns to investigate, if im allowed to speculate. I think the mafia killcon that makes most sense is you can kill someone who was on the wagon of a townie who was voted out, or something similar to that, as I imagine the game has been made with someone being voted out D1 on mind, this helps towns to have a chance for a comeback once they vote out a mafia, but we simply cant afford voting out a Townie who might be an important role, investigative even D1. We have the same chances of voting out an important role and losing that infostream than voting out a mafia. This is specially dangerous in close setups, and even more with the low amount of chances we get to make votes.

##Unvote
##No Vote

its fine to have that perspective on what the mafia killcon is but to say that it makes the most sense is bonkers to me
The mafia cannot have an immediate nightkill every night, if we assume that, our chances of losing raise up by an incredible amount. Mafia has to have a condition they must attain and the condition has to be hard enough while still not giving it up away, we also know that the killcon has to be related to votes, punishing town for making wagons wouldnt make sense on a vote based game and would make the chances of mafia winning too random, I dont think the host would have made it based on multiple wagons, I might have expressed myself a bit wrong in my last posts now that I read it, but the killcon I think would be that mafia can kill as long as the last vote would've been on the death of a townie. I dont think you can balance a 10v4 otherwise. The killcon could also be of townies who have voted mafia, but that is also too random for my liking, if you have any better ideas feel free to share them.

the more you try to explain yourself the more you lose me i disagree with like, three seperate things in that post on first read

"The mafia cannot have an immediate nightkill every night" disagree
"punishing town for making wagons wouldnt make sense ... and would make the chances of mafia winning too random" disagree
"the host would[n't] have made it based on multiple wagons" disagree

genuinely think that the most likely nk imo condition is "you get to pick from anyone who had a vote on them [at the end of the day/at any point during the day]

Based on the assumption that mafia has an immediate nightkill every night, if we vote out 2 townies we would need to vote all 4 mafia in a row in consecutive days to win the game, this is a ridiculous assumption.

role madness games have never had doctors or jks or vig shots or anything else that could impact the rate at which players are removed from the game
role madness also means that mafia also have roles.
Based on the assumption that mafia has an immediate nightkill every night, if we vote out 2 townies we would need to vote all 4 mafia in a row in consecutive days to win the game, this is a ridiculous assumption.
This is the best scenario I can make while not accounting the possibly 4 mafia roles that are in play.

damn. its so role madness that it actually circles back into being pure mountainous! thats real neat. guess i'll just no vote and let mafia gain tempo thanks to this bonkers conclusion that was reached with no actual mechanical backing behind it, i'm sure that won't have any possibility of negative consequence

so you want us to better missvote a townie which is possibly one of the roles you're waiting for (aka doctor, jk or vig) (this is not accounting that all roles have something to do with votes anyways so those roles are possibly not even real) and then blindly go into day 2 with a townie less?
