LouisCyphre initiates a challenge,
epicdrill responds.
Emblem Battle Format:
- Each Round, the battler ordering first selects one of their non-fainted Pokémon to attack one of their opponent's non-fainted Pokémon.
- All items are equipped when sending in.
- Single battle mechanics are in play for the duration of the round. For example, Earthquake only damages the targeted Pokémon and does not incur a spread move penalty.
- NEW RULE: If a non-KO'd bench Pokémon has an ability that affects all Pokémon in the battle, all Pokémon on one side of the field, and/or all teammates except the user, that ability is always active, unless it is a #Trigger ability. These abilities will still be active even if they have text specifically limiting them to multi battles.
- Effects on a Pokémon, such as Stat Increases/Decreases, Taunt, Torment, Aqua Ring, Sluggish, etc., remain for their specified number of actions when a round ends. These effects do not decay while the Pokémon is not participating in a round. For example, if a Pokémon ends the round Sluggish for one action (from use of Hyper Beam, for example), they will be sluggish on the first action of the next round they participate in combat.
- Field effects, such as Weather, Terrain, Screens, Entry Hazards, etc,. remain in play for their specified duration when a round ends.
- Moves that have different effects when switch = OK and switch = KO benefit from their switch = KO variants.
- Abilities that summon Weather or Terrain will automatically not activate (i.e., no need for the battler to specify), if that Weather or Terrain effect is already in play.
- Damage from entry hazards is halved (rounded normally).

Name Etymology:
A historical bolt-throwing weapon, named the Domina Gunilda, mounted to Windsor Castle in the 1300s to repel intruders. The name spread to other large projectile emplacements, becoming synonymous with heavy artillery and the usage thereof.
Attitude and Motive:
Confident and conceited. Gunhilde is happiest when she's able to throw her weight around and hold dominance over her surroundings.
