Emerald/Diamond Glitch?

I don't think they're going to drop the price anytime soon. It's been four years and R/S have only dropped in price $5. However, it's really strange: FR/LG (2004) and XD (2005) are Player's Choice titles now, much cheaper, but R/S (2003) still hasn't gone down that path, and neither has Emerald (2005). What triggers PC is still beyond me.

In the meantime, there are ways to get around it. I hae a $5 off any video game coupon from Best Buy, obtained by giving the gamer's gift card.

Erm, somewhat off-topic. The reason FR & LF sell for less than R/S isn't about time difference alone. Ruby and Sapphire cost more as they are discontinued, that is, no longer in production. The older they get, the more they will cost, as there is a set amount of copies in the world now, and most of these copies are being shelved or destroyed as time goes on.

The exact same thing happened with the Final Fantasy series for SNES. A copy of Final Fantasy II (or in Japan, FFIV) will run you more than a copy of Final Fantasy III (or FFVI), but both of these games will still cost a bundle. (I'm speaking in terms of America.) These games have been out of production for a very long time. A used copy will cost you $60. USED!! (This is suggesting you buy it from a store like Gamestop or Gametrader, not Ebay or its evil affiliates).

Emerald's cost hasnt dropped since it is still one of Nintendo's Best Sellers for the GBA/DS.
