Tentacool seems to be sacrificing his speed advantage for an epic combo, so Smudge moves first and grabs an Unown C, Camouflaging itself to look like soup and become a water type. Meanwhile, Kurage finally executes that combo, spraying Smudge with a Water Gun, and then immediately zapping the drenched Gulpin with the strength of a cannon. After this tiring combo, Kurage falls asleep for the next action. Smudge sees his sleeping foe and nom noms on their Dreams, eating them for more health and also doing impressive damage. Kurage finally wakes up, but seems to be waiting for Smudge's move, which is a simple Shadow Ball, only to be reflected back for greater damage by a Mirror Coat! Smudge is standing on his last goopy muscle-thing, but it looks like the earlier burn agitates him and he is KO'ed!
