"Those rocks are going to take their toll but we can't get caught in such a bad matchup! Let's go Leafstrike! Enable Contrary, take this Lucky Egg, then start by putting a kibosh to any plans he may have had to confuse you with DynamicPunch by setting up a 20 HP Substitute! After that stick a Leech Seed on him, then hammer him with a Leaf Storm! If you don't have a substitute up on action three then set up another 20 HP Substitute instead!"
Summary: Substitute (20 HP) -> Leech Seed -> Leaf Storm If you do not have a Substitute action 3, use Substitute (20 HP) instead
After Flamestrike shuffles his mons around for a while, the stones on the field are beginning to really take their toll on his team. Slowly, Engineer is wearing down Flamestrike's various Strike-themed mons with Pointing Stones that were originally on his side. Looks like Rebound paid off big time.
The macho midget and the serpent are glaring at each other, waiting for the other to move first. Neither one wants to make themselves vulnerable. Suddenly, Servine lashes out, jumps and twists, and a huge poof of smoke forms. As the smoke disappates, Servine is nowhere to be found, just a Substitute. Although the spectators of the match are confused, Machop knows exactly what's going on, and proceeds to Blast the strange doll with Fire. The Substitute obviously inherited Servine's weaknesses, and with the help of the flaming arena, the doll dissipates, leaving Servine exposed to future flaming assaults.
After that monstrous attack, Machop sits back for just a moment. However, Servine quickly shoots many tiny objects that stick to Machop. The spectators immediately see that these are Leech Seeds, meaning that Servine will slowly steal health from the humanoid.. thing. Machop, however, doesn't have time to deal with this stalling crap, continues the offensive assault with a powerful STAB Dynamicpunch. Thanks to Machop's risky No Guard ability, it automatically hits Servine for good damage, and also Confuses. Suddenly, the seeds on Machop light up, and it begins to feel pain, and Servine looms over it with an arrogant grin.
Servine realizes that Machop will destroy it if it continues to stall, and prepares to launch its most powerful attack, Leaf Storm. However, the impact of Machop's last attack got to Servine, and it Hurt Itself, doing minimal damage, but more importantly, prevent the attack on Machop. Machop uses this opportunity to launch another Fire Blast, and takes clear control of the situation. After Machop gets more health leeched, the audience is wondering, can Servine come back from this?
After all the attacks finish, the arena morphs again. The flames go out, and the ground changes into an earthy, brown color. Looks like the essence of Ground types is with the battlers

It's the standard arena, except somebody has implanted a strange device in the middle of the field! For the duration of the first round, this device is off. After the end of each round, though, it beeps and suddenly alters the elemental makeup of the arena, giving certain benefits to certain types and detriments to some other ones. Each time the makeup is altered, a random type is chosen. All attacking moves whose types hit the chosen type for super effective damage have 2 more BAP, while all attacking moves whose types hit the chosen type for not very effective or zero damage have 2 less BAP.
