Blissey@Leftovers
Nature: Calm
EV: 252 DEF / 40 SP. ATK / 216 SP. DEF
- Protect
- Wish
- Toxic
- Flamethrower

The leads to my stall team. Suprisingly Blissey does really good as a stall team lead and has a great combo with Wish, Protect and Toxic

dpmfb145.png

Zapdos@Leftovers
Nature: Bold
EV: 252 HP / 220 DEF/ 36 SPE
- Thunderbolt
- Heatwave
- Roost
- Roar

The addition of the phazer to the team. Tunderbolt goes great with stab and heatwave does great for those other pokemon like Jirachi, Celebi, Metagross etc

251.png

Celebi@Leftovers
Nature: Bold
EV: 252 HP / 216 DEF / 8 SP. DEF / 32 SPE
- Stealth Rock
- Grass Knot
- Leech Seed
- Recover

Every stall team needs a seeder and Celibi does the best job at it can does superb when Forretress has set up and begin stalling out the opponent. It is also the inducer of Stealth Rocks which can be a nice suprise.

dpmfb245.png

Suicune@Leftovers
Nature: Bold
EV: 252 HP / 128 DEF / 128 SP. DEF
- Calm Mind
- Surf
- Ice Beam
- Roar

Another Psedo Phazer to the team and also a very affective pokemon to add to the team. Suicune is very capable of taking out Tyranitar and stopping sweepers from setting up on it. Once Suicune gets in just 1 CM it is a force to be reckoned with both physically and defencively.
479-t.png

Rotom-h
Nature: Calm
EV: 252 HP / 120 DEF / 136 SP. DEF
- Discharge
- Shadow Ball
- Rest
- Sleep Talk

Rapid Spin blocker and status absorber for the team. Discharge goes great with Rotom-h for the 30% chance of paralysing the opposing pokemon everytime you use it. Shadow ball goes nicely with Discharge for more stab.

Forretress@Shed Shell
Nature: Relaxed
EV: 252 HP / 252 DEF / 4 SP. DEF
- Gyro Ball
- Spikes
- Toxic Spikes
- Rapid Spin

Forretress, the set-up pokemon for this team and allows the stall to get well under way from a variety of different ways to go. When this is sent out it is easy to tell when not to send it out and when it is the right time to get out and start setting up.

Well theres the team, The thing I think that I need help with mainly on this team is with the ev's because at the moment they are pretty all over the place and this team really lacks the speed potential that in needs. Also if you have any other suggestions other than evs please post them. Much Appreciated and look forward to the advice!!

Put the Attack EVs on Forretress into Defense (maybe a bit in Special Defense if you want), it's a complete waste when Rapid Spin is your only Attack.

You are significantly overloading Forretress. You'll never get down the necessary entry hazards if you just rely on Forretress to get down all of Stealth Rock, Spikes, and Toxic Spikes; even if you have Wish support. You have two options as I see it. You can run Stealth Rock & Spikes on Forretress and switch out Suicune for Toxic Spikes Tentacruel (run max HP / ~130+ Defense EVs to switch into Infernape / Lucario easier) or you can run Spikes & Toxic Spikes and put Stealth Rock on Blissey or Celebi. Preferably on Celebi since Blissey is useful for Wish support. In place of the one support option I'd run Gyro Ball on Forretress.

This offensive Suicune is out-of-step with the overall tempo of the team and disrupts it in my opinion. You'd be better off going bulkier to better fit into the team build. For Suicune, just completely drop the Special Attack and Speed EVs. They are completely unnecessary on a stall-like team. Maximum HP as well, also switch to a Bold nature. You can invest some Special Defense as you have (128 EVs tops). I'd also recommend either switching to a Rest-Talk CM set (Calm Mind / Surf / Rest / Sleep Talk) or a Calm Mind / Surf / Ice Beam / Roar set to give yourself another pseudo - hazer.

You are missing some EVs on Celebi, put 8 EVs into Special Defense.

I also don't like Blissey as a lead. Consider Zapdos or Suicune or something.

P.S.: You might want to expand on your commentary a bit.

Hmm,typical stall with a typical weakness, and that is Tyranitar my friend.Since you already have Celebi and Rotom you might wanna swap Suicune for a Swampert to be able to help out vs Tar.

I suggest using Shed Shell on Forretress so the simple Scarf Magnezone(super common now)+ Rapid Spinner doesn't completely own you. In fact, any team with a Magnezone instantly beats you after taking out Forrey, seeing as that's your only *true* way of dealing damage.

If u want to stall better. Give blissey sesmic toss because heatran walls it so bad, trust me the last thing you can do is pp stall. Run subcune instead there is no point packing more punch on cune when sub is better to run.

Wow, thanks so much for all that effort Caelum. I am definitly going to look into it and do some well needed testing!! ^^

Articanus, you're so right so Shed Shell it is.

Deskoe, Swampert also seems as a viable option there so I am going to go away and test it as well.

I'll keep that in mind Rahi. Thanks

Thanks so much for all the help and if anybody thinks there is anything else to add to all that then please do so :toast:

Suicune@Leftovers
Nature: Timid
EV: 128 HP / 132 SPE / 124 SP. ATK / 124 SP. DEF
- Surf
- Hidden Power [Electric]
- Ice Beam
- Calm Mind

Does a great job at sweeping and has alot of potential against the opposing pokemon. Hidden Power [Ice] can OHKO Gyarados as Suicune outspeeds it by 1 point. Surf for stab and ice beam for some coveredge. (This ev set seems to be really bulky and seem to work well but if you have any better ideas be sure to let me know.)

This guy has HP Ice? And Ice Beam?

That's outrageous.

And saying Suicune outspeeds it by one point is not much of a help. For one, there are different kinds of Gyara's, you didn't specify which. Also, it wouldn't switch in on Cune generally. Therefore, it probobly will have a DD before you switch in, making you slower.

And you spelled coverage wrong. I think.

And the EV's seem forced. You essentially just divided 510 by 4, and threw it into 4 stats. I would look The Smogon set.

Oh, and if this is a stall team, it needs not rest, if not sleep talk. This is a mostly offensive Cune.

If the drawback of one move isn't for you, don't use Cune..

Oh, and personally I would disreguard Rahi's comment.

So what if one poke walls that Bliss. Zapdos generally walls Yanmega, does that mean every Yanmega should have HP Ice?

...No

And if it carrys HP Ice, then Heatran "utterly walls it", as Heatran is 4x resistant to all of his moves. So one poke shouldn't change that bliss.

Just my input.

lol, I said I fixed the HP ice / elec up in the previous post ^_~;

Well sure if it has probs with DDdos how can I fix it up? o_O;

As previously said I will be changing the Suicunce set or even possibly to a Swampert ;]

Edit: Whats the best move to replace Stealth Rock on Celebi with?

Thanks ^^

Either Perish Song or Leech Seed.

It just depends. You already have Roar on Zappy, I suppose.
And Leech Seed isn't 100% necessary either, it just helps alot in certain situations.

Whatever you think.

Yea, propably Perish Song. I'll get another psedo phazer with my new Suicune set. ^^

Thanks for the help!!

Oh, and do you know how much speed a Gyarados would be running after 1 DD?

Ok, I doesn't really matter Zapdos walls it hard anyway so the team is looking pretty good now.

I'll put in the edits now.

Anything else that could be done to make it better?

Bump, still need to know if theres anything else or if it is good to go ^^.

Please see the first post for the current team and see if theres anything more to be changed.

Well first of all, you're lead is a Blissey. It may be a suprising lead or whatever, but that's just asking for somebody to use Trick on you and give Blissey a Choice Scarf. I suggest Forretress be the lead instead since he can lay down some good Spikes. Also, you only have TWO Physical Attacking Moves on the whole team. How are you planning to deal with something like a Blissey. If you don't wanna change any Pokemon then maybe Celebi should carry Perish Song.

Hah, he's exactly right with the 2 physical moves. And I think he's counting rapid spin as one of those. That would screw you up.

Another reason to add Swampy

Forretress lead will be considered. And thanks for the great advice.

Anybody have any suggestions on a set I could use for Swampert?

Hey

A set you could use on swampert would be the mixpert set. You could also put stealth rock on swampert to free up your celebi to use leech seed/perish song again. I would also put will-o-wisp over shadow ball on rotom, as currently it cannot touch scizor with roost, a poke it should usually wall very effectively.

I would also put some more evs in special def on forretress to allow him to not be absolutely destroyed by special attacks. I would go with the 252 hp 200 def 56 sp. def spread.

Overall this is one of my shorter rates because this team is very solid so this is a very good rmt!

7.5/10

Good luck!
