NOC Everchanging Mafia - Game thread - Day 3!

"if they receive a role they can use it but they as a whole can only pass each action to an ally once per game."

This can be used as a semi ultra budget sheriff mech btw, we list everyone that has had one ability and we confirm that every 3 chains cant be all mafia for example

if Des were to pass their ability to LonelyNess and then LonelyLess passes their ability to Westcraft, this would confirm all 3 of them not being mafia together. (but they could be independently or 2 of them.)

What would be the point? Unless you're protector and you hit something or tracker and you also hit something it doesn't matter at all no?
the only downside to claiming results / targets every night is a slightly higher chance of the person currently holding the action getting sniped by kill that night

bc if you've just passed the action you can't have that action again (but might have a different one passed to you by someone else)

maybe in very late game we don't claim, but at 18p or similar there's no reason not to claim uses and results that I can see

Does the mayor role affect the player that has the role, or does the player with the mayor role chooses someone to have 2 votes, I'm kinda confused about it
I assume they have 2 votes

  • x1 Mayor : The player’s vote counts for two the next day.
  • In case you have multiple actions and one of them is the mayor you can activate it during the day after receiving it but you will be unable to perform the other actions at night.

@LN the problem with no vote is we're largely just going into D2 blind whereas even if we miss on our vote D1 we can at least learn something about who voted where and why, and there are ways to vote that can minimize the effects of town losing one person

I stand by what I said in the last thread that getting rid of the players with the lowest long-term value to town early is probably optimal but also that I'd feel bad doing it to des two games in a row

Did town win in that previous game you’re talking about? Because Des is quite good at mafia games, I wouldn’t vote to eliminate her :changry:
