Evos for Everyone (Slate 21- Keep it Simple)

T.I.A.

formerly Ticktock

(Evolves when leveled up with a full team of Unown)
New Pokemon Name: Clustymbol (from Cluster + Symbol)
Type:

New Moves: Psychic, Psyshock, Earth Power, Thunderbolt, Ice Beam, Flamethrower, Calm Mind, Recover, Knock Off, Alphabet Swarm (Special Psychic-type Bullet Seed clone), Hidden Force (see Scoopapa's submission)
Ability: True Power (Schooling clone, but also summons Psychic Terrain when its in Cluster Form. Hidden Power and Hidden Force is also doubled in power.)
Stats: Alone Form: 72 / 72 / 48 / 72 / 48 / 72 (384 BST)
Cluster Form: 72 / 108 / 72 / 144 / 72 / 108 (576 BST)
Competitive Niche: Kinda felt like that Unown's Gen 5 Pokedex entry was kinda pointing to this. This Unown is still pretty weak, albeit faster, has more HP, and a crapton of more powers since it was awakened. But what gets it going is its ability, which a Schooling clone. Unlike Wishiwashi, this thing is far faster, has an immunity to priority, nice coverage, and very powerful coverage in Hidden Power/Force. Oh yeah, it also has a multi-hit STAB move. However, since Psychic Terrain doesn't last forever, it gives a limited time to dent some holes before a Sucker Punch blasts it away. It can also be a bit predictable.

(Evolves when levelled up knowing Double Team and Round)
New Pokemon Name: Ninlkaa (Corruption of Ievan Polkaa and Ninja)
Type:

New Moves: Hyper Voice, Extreme Speed, Specter Dash (Ghost-type, 30 BP, 95% ACC, 15 PP, Hits three times, Priority +1), Leek Smash (Grass-type Stone Edge.)
Ability: Prankster, Super Luck, Protean
Stats: 87 / 130 / 80 / 83 / 87 / 95 (562 BST)
Competitive Niche: I'm thinking this would be ninja Farfetch'd, with a dash of Hachune Miku in there. I'm sorry. But this does have Protean, and it ain't a powerful one. But however, it does have a powerful STAB priority move that can break subs to avoid its horrible speed issue. Oh, and Extreme Speed for evasive dashing. It's attack is also pretty good.

(Evolves at level 30 if all 3 Regis are in the party)
New Pokemon Name: Reginys (Regi + tiny)
Type:

Removed Moves: Crush Grip, Heavy Slam, Giga Impact, Superpower
Ability: Unburden
Stats: 65 / 80 / 65 / 30 / 65 / 45 (350 BST)
Competitive Niche: Reginys is a smaller version of Regigigas, albeit without the weight of its downfall on it. Thats about it, and it would serve pretty well with out the need of its brotheren.

Unown: Samtendo09, Origin0, Scoopapa
Farfetch'd: ToadBrigade, Brodaha, Origin0
Regigigas: Ticktock, Origin0, ToadBrigade

Official Post: Slate 5 Winners
Congratulations to Origin0 for winning with Myzteri and Zycresi, and congratulations to ToadBrigade for winning with Canard. As for Regigigas, we have a tie between Ticktock and Origin0. Please get your tiebreaker votes in by the end of the day, my vote goes to Ticktock because I think Origin0's ability is too stronk.

Next slate will be up in a few hours.

Slate #6: Feeling Blue

Sawk: Maximum ability ranking of 3.5, and 4 movepool additions.
Qwilfish: Maximum ability ranking of 3.5, and 5 movepool additions.
Kyogre: Will you bring rain to LC? If not, how will you handle the prevolution?

Submissions will close late Friday, please get them in by then.

Original Pokemon Name: Sawk
New Pokemon Name: Stryk (strike)
Evolves by leveling up past level 40 with Kommo-o in the party
Type:

Ability: Sturdy / Sock 'em* / Mold Breaker (HA)
Sock 'em* - Fighting-type Sap Sipper
Stats: 85 / 140 / 85 / 40 / 85 / 105 | BST: 540 (+10 HP, +15 Atk, +10 Def, +10 SpA, +10 SpD, +20 Spe)
Move Additions: U-turn, Draco Meteor, Outrage, Dragon Dance
Competitive Niche (OU): While its typing may be potentially disadvantageous in OU, it has a very high attack stat and wide movepool that can allow it to hit everything in the tier. It suffers from 4 moveslot syndrome though.

Original Pokemon Name: Qwilfish
New Pokemon Name: Fugishimi (fugu + sashimi)
Evolves by trading while holding Poison Barb
Type:

Ability: Toxic Buildup* / Swift Swim / Intimidate (HA)
Toxic Buildup* - Poison-type Flash Fire
Stats: 75 / 125 / 95 / 65 / 70 / 105 | BST: 535 (+10 HP, +30 Atk, +10 Def, +10 SpA, +15 SpD, +20 Spe)
Move Additions: Gunk Shot, U-turn, Superpower, Recover, Zen Headbutt
Competitive Niche (OU): A fast Water/Poison physical attacker that could probably set up with Swords Dance or use Choice Band. It has a niche on rain teams with its typing and Superpower allowing it to hit Ferrothorn, and Intimidate can help with this. Zen Headbutt hits Toxapex.
==========
New Pokemon Name: Spikifish (spiky + fish)
Evolves by trading while holding Metal Coat
Type:

Ability: Iron Barbs / Swift Swim / Intimidate (HA)
Stats: 90 / 100 / 110 / 55 / 85 / 95 | BST: 535 (+25 HP, +5 Atk, +25 Def, +30 SpD, +10 Spe)
Move Additions: Recover, Zen Headbutt, U-turn, Iron Head, Metal Burst
Competitive Niche (OU): More defensive than Fugishimi, Spikifish can use Intimidate to weaken opposing physical attackers. Metal Burst can enable it to take out strong faster opponents.

Original Pokemon Name: Kyogre
New Pokemon Name: Kyorbie (Kyogre + orb)
Evolves by leveling up past level 40 while holding Blue Orb
Type:

Ability: Water Absorb
Stats: 60 / 50 / 50 / 75 / 65 / 60 | BST: 360 (-40 HP, -50 Atk, -40 Def, -75 SpA, -75 SpD, -30 Spe)
Move Subtractions: Blizzard, Sheer Cold, Origin Pulse, Water Spout, Thunder, Earthquake
Competitive Niche (LC): I decided that Drizzle plus its powerful Water STABs and Thunder could be too much for LC, so I gave it Water Absorb and removed many of its strongest attacks. It is a strong special attacker with decent bulk and speed, and Hydro Pump still hits hard. Kyorbie faces competition with other Water-types like Chinchou and Staryu, who are both faster, though Chinchou loses to Ground-type attacks more easily while Staryu is frail.

http://instagr.am/p/BR0xtunAPwf/ Original Pokemon Name: Qwilfish
New Pokemon Name: Navabrine (naval + brine)
Evolves by level up while holding Metal Coat
Type:

Ability: Iron Barbs / Puffed Body* / Intimidate (HA)
Qwilfish’s Stats: 65 / 95 / 85 / 55 / 55 / 85 | BST: 535
Stats: 85 / 105 / 125 / 75 / 105 / 65 | BST: 560
Move Additions: Iron Head, Ignite*, Gunk Shot, Stealth Rocks, Rapid Spin
*Ignite: Steel-type | Status | PP 5-8 | — accuracy | If user is hit by opponent, user explodes (automatic Explosion); otherwise it recovers its full health (accuracy follows Protect’s laws).
*Puffed Body: Halves damage received from Fighting and Ground moves (Thick Fat clone).
Competitive Niche (OU): An hazard setter that can turn pretty useful thanks to its abilities.

Samtendo09

Ability: Light Power
is a Pre-Contributor
Evolves into Strake when defeating an Electric-type Pokémon at level 30 or higher.
Original Pokemon: Sawk
Pokemon Evolution Name: Strake (Corruption of strike)
Type:

Ability: Sturdy / Scrappy | Mold Breaker (HA)
Stats: 85 / 135 / 80 / 50 / 110 / 95 | BST: 555
Move Additions: Wild Charge, Zap Kick*, Swords Dance, Mach Punch
*Zap Kick: Electric-type | Physical | 120 BP | 85% Acc. | 10% chance to inflict Paralysis. | Contact move.
Competitive Niche (OU): Set-up wallbreaker with Mold Breaker to bypass Disguise (sorry Mimikyu!) and other defensive or immunity-based abilities. Scrappy can be used to hit Ghost-type without repercussion, and Sturdy is for revenge killing (especially with Choice Band), but be sure to do hazard control first. Zap Kick allows for a strong Electric-type STAB.

Evolves into Pinful when traded with Mareanie or Toxapex.
Original Pokemon: Qwilfish
Pokemon Evolution Name: Pinful (Corruption of painful)
Type:

Ability: Poison Touch / Shift Swim | Intimidate (HA)
Stats: 80 / 120 / 110 / 70 / 70 / 110 | BST: 560
Move Additions: Aqua Pins*, Gunk Shot, Icicle Crash, Knock Off, Coil
*Aqua Pins: Water-type | Physical | 120 BP | 85% Acc. | Contact move.
Competitive Niche (OU): Fast set-up sweeper with a strong Water-type move. Its strong STABs and Icicle Crash's low accuracy can be solved by Coil's accuracy raising effect. Icicle Crash and Knock Off are coverage moves, the latter especially effective against most Psychic-type (Tapu Lele, in turn, is vulnerable to STAB Poison-type). Intimidate or Shift Swim help turn the tide when used right, or Poison Touch to make mean spirited use of contact moves by poisoning the victim.

Gyro Ball, Iron Head, Iron Tail, Iron Defense, Ignite*, Gunk Shot, U-turn, Spiky Shield, Stealth Rocks, Baneful Bunker, Rapid Spin, Self-Destruct
The max amount of movepool additions for Qwilfish is 5, so you'll have to get rid of some of those. Otherwise looks good!

Evolves when leveled up on a mountain with no other pokemon in the party.
Original Pokemon: Sawk
Pokemon Evolution Name: Wuntoo ( as in "one-two punch" )
Type:

Ability: Sturdy / Inner Focus | *Combo Breaker (HA)
*Combo Breaker - takes 25% less damage from contact moves and lowers the opponent's speed one stage when hit by one.

Stats: 85 / 140 / 120 / 50 / 80 / 95 | BST: 570
Move Additions: High Jump Kick, Rock Polish, Accelerock, Drain Punch
Competitive Niche (OU): Fighting / Rock is a superb offensive typing, although Rock is rarely a plus on the defensive side. Although it doesn't completely outclass its UU cousin Terrakion, it's physical bulk combined with Combo Breaker and access to priority should give it a niche in OU, running either a Jolly Choice Band or a bulky, Adamant Rock Polish set. Moreso than OU, Evos for Everyone has a lot of pokemon using contact moves that this guy could switch into.

Evolves after holding a battery and successfully living an electric attack.
Original Pokemon: Qwilfish
Pokemon Evolution Name: Porcupeel
Type:

Ability: Poison Point / Swift Swim | Intimidate (HA)
Stats: 85 / 130 / 110 / 70 / 80 / 85 | BST: 560
Move Additions: *Electric Snare, *Lightning Crash, Gunk Shot, Volt Switch, Wild Charge
*Electric Snare - Electric-type | Physical | 120 BP | 75% Acc. | Traps the opponent 4-5 turns. Deals Damage at the end of each turn. ( Magma Storm clone )
*Lightning Crash - Electric-type | Physical | 110 BP | 70% Acc. | 30% chance to paralyze the opponent. Perfect accuracy in Rain. ( Thunder Clone )

Competitive Niche (OU): Stallbreaker with Electric Snare, Taunt, and possibly Toxic Spikes. Rain Sweeper that can deal with many defensive Water- and Grass-types for its teammates, whilst having boosted Water attacks to hit Ground-types. Swords Dance should be very nice for the Rain Sweeper, and the stallbreaker can run a cheeky Ice Beam to smack Landorus-T or Gliscor.

formerly Ticktock

Evolves into Arothrike when learning Spikes on level up.
Original Pokemon: Qwilfish
Pokemon Evolution Name: Arothrike
Type:

Ability: Heavy Metal / Water Absorb | Intimidate (HA)
Stats: 110 / 105 / 120 / 65 / 75 / 65 | BST: 540
Move Additions: Metal Burst, Iron Tail, Iron Defense, Autotomize, Lead Weight*
*Lead Weight: Steel-type | Physical | 100 BP | 100% Acc. | 10PP | Contact move. Lowers the user's Speed by 2. (Semi-clone of Hammer Arm)
Competitive Niche (OU): A bulky Spikes setter with a decent defensive typing and a solid defenses. Its signature move is also very powerful and accurate, but does lower its Speed a lot. (Note: This is actually a fanmade evolution from a old Fakemon site, The Pokemon Factory)

(levelled up holding Black Belt)
New Pokemon Name: Thwack (punching onomatopoeia)
Type:

New Moves: Bullet Punch, Meteor Mash, Sucker Punch, Mach Punch
Ability: Sturdy, Iron Fist, Mold Breaker
Stats: 85 / 165 / 85 / 40 / 75 / 95 (545 BST)
Competitive Niche: With an iron fist and nerves of steel, Thwack has one of the highest attack stats in the tier. While extremely powerful it is walled by some of OUs premier defensive Pokemon such as Zapdos and Toxapex depending on its move set. It has good speed but is outrun by most offensive Pokemon such as Keldeo and Tapu Koko who threaten to outspeed and OHKO Thwack. It has access to two STAB priority moves that are boosted by Iron Fist however it much sacrifice a lot of power to run these over hard hitting moves like Close Combat or Meteor Mash or coverage moves like Ice Punch or Earthquake.

(levelled up holding Toxic Barb)
New Pokemon Name: Ichthybarb (icthyology + barb)
Type:

New Moves: Gunk Shot, Knock Off, Play Rough
Ability: Poison Point, Swift Swim, Intimidate
Stats: 80 / 125 / 95 / 65 / 65 / 95 (525 BST)
Competitive Niche: Rain, rain, go away; come again another day. Ichthybarb outspeeds everything in rain except for a boosted Hawlucha, gets Liquidation boosted by rain, and is your new face of rain. Having access to an item slot almost makes Mega Swampert obsolete since it has access to items such as Life Orb or Choice Band making it hit even harder. Most rain counter-play will stop Ichthybarb as well as being completely walled by Toxapex and Ferrothorn.

(evolves when levelled up if holding Blue Orb)
New Pokemon Name: Korb (Kyogre + orb)
Type:

Removed Moves: Water Spout, Origin Pulse
Ability: Drizzle
Stats: 70 / 50 / 45 / 100 / 70 / 45 (355 BST)
Competitive Niche: Speaking of rain, Korb brings rain into the LC tier for the first time ever. Since most Swift Swim users in LC don't have much in the way of offensive stats (except a couple of fossil Pokemon which will become rain staples), Korb's most outstanding feature is its sky high Special Attack that is second only to Abra but this is further boosted with rain boosted STAB moves like Scald and Hydro Pump. Despite its middling speed, its quite bulky especially if paired with Eviolite making Korb able to hit hard and take hits in return.
