Exeggutor has been one of my favorite pokemon for a while now. I had yet to find a way to utilize him.

Until now.

Trick Room
Sleep Powder
Energy Ball/HP Fire
Psychic/HP Fire

Lead with exeggutor. Survive and trick room. Sleep the pokemon and continue to sweep. Has worked well for me in UU. HP fire over one of the moves if your scared of pinsir.

Leafstorm should be an option somewere, It's a kickass move. Sunny day teams will also fuck you over, so you might want a weather changer, such as a brave Osamabasnow.
 
Trick Room on that set accomplishes nothing that Sunny Day wouldn't. And go with Psychic and Grass Knot. Psychic rocks Infernape and Gengar, Grass Knot is the "lol TTar Switch in to what?"
 
Eggy doesn't really seem like UU material to me. He was OU at more than one point last gen and Tangrowth hasn't knocked him down THAT much. But that's irrelevant (and taboo...Sssssh).

I can't understand the use of Trick Room over Sunny Day. The only advantage would be not getting royally screwed by weather change switch ins but two of those (Ttar and Hippo) aren't gonna be a problem in UU whereas the other (Abom) is terrified of HP Fire.

You're also overlooking that great attack stat and Explosion, which is what sets him apart from Tangrowth. 226 attack without a single EV means he doesn't need a massive investment to put Blissey out of the match.
