Even targets that resist Grass and Psychic like Klinklang and Skuntank struggle to stomach a boosted Leaf Storm. Psyshock targets special walls like Articuno and Clefairy, while Giga Drain is useful for its accuracy and recovery compared to Leaf Storm. Pivots that safely bring in Exeggutor like Silvally-Poison and Morpeko are great, as they often switch out versus physical walls and Ground-types that Exeggutor can threaten. Defensive support from Rocky Helmet Qwilfish and Poliwrath covers some of Exeggutor’s worst weaknesses, namely U-turn and Knock Off. Entry hazard support from Qwilfish, Stunfisk, and Rhydon provides the chance to OHKO Skuntank and Uxie.
