Fairium Z Jumbao [CAP]

Jumbao @ Fairium Z
Ability: Drought
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Moonblast
- Flame Burst
- Hidden Power [Ground]
- Shore Up

With recent developments in the metagame, more people have started to drop defensive sets on Jumbao in favor of more offensive sets like the above. This is because the metagame has developed to revolve around Steel-types, with many teams relying on the newly introduced Equilibra to complete a defensive core. Jumbao is very useful against these type of teams thanks to its access to Drought combined with Flame Burst, which allows it to pressure the many defensive cores that rely on Steel-types to check Fairy-types. In addition to this, it still upholds a lot of its defensive utility thanks to its naturally great defensive typing and stats, which allow it to check Pokemon like Tapu Koko and Ash-Greninja. Pokemon that can struggle to deal with certain defensive Steel-types like Equilibra and Celesteela, such as Mega Latios and Mega Alakazam, make for good teammates as a result.

With recent developments in the metagame, more people have started to drop defensive sets on Jumbao in favor of more offensive sets like the above such as Choice Scarf and Z-Move variants. This is because the metagame has developed to revolve around Steel-types even more with the introduction of Equilibra, with more teams relying on them to complete a defensive core. First sentence I rephrased was due to ambiguous pronoun use / wordiness.
