Faster way to calculate IVs?

So I'm breeding a bunch of Larvitar's and I'm trying to get the best parents to make the best offspring and I this morning I decided to calculate the IVs of my first set of kids... Well, I only got around to doing 3 before breaking down and quitting from boredom. I have another 7 more to go, and I'm wondering if there is a faster and easier way to check IVs than using MetalKid's Calculator? I don't have 25 Rare Candies to make it extremely easy (I have 5...) on myself. (The exp of Bibarel's dies off quickly...)

Please don't tell me this is the only way... There must be some alternative...

You could do an "IV battle." An IV battle is where you get another person, wifi battle at level 100 settings and bring your pokemon to check IV"s to the exact amount. Both of you guys run after you're done so it doesn't affect your records.

But when I know the stats at level 100, where do I implement that data to figure out the IVs? (Is there a formula which uses the stats at level 100 to figure out IVs?)
 
Couldn't you just use a normal IV calculator? If your pokemon were just hatched, then they shouldn't have any EV's to affect the stats.
 
Ok, Serebii's Dex helped. I think I'll use it, and that level 100 way (To compare to get a more accurate answer) and after I get enough Rare Candies, MetalKid's too again. <_<

Attack IV according to Serebii is 15. Speed is highest at 24... Could use some more breeding.

In which this situation you can just use metalkids and insert level 100.
