Building Process:
148dragonair.png

I started with dragonair, I have always admired the blue dragon snake and decided to finally utilize it. It is unique and very underrated
324torkoal.png

I needed a Rapid spinner that could set up SR to aid in Dragonair sweeping, So I picked the fire turtle, Torkoal has amazing defense and can explode which is a plus
479rotom.png

So I have my late game sweeper and wall, I need a spin blocker, I love using Rotom-a in OU so i chose the original for this UU team
362glalie.png

After all this, i decided I really need a lead, So I looked at all the spikes leads availiable and sadly frosslass is in BL so I settled with glalie, it gets the job done
113chansey.png

I wanted a special wall to compliment Torkoal, So the fat cremepuff came to mind. Chansey is almost as wally as her older sister, So she fit the bill perfectly
065alakazam.png

So after all this, I have no Early game sweeper, So i picked the fastest, hardest hitting kitteh in NU, ZAM!!! Zam makes a wonderful early game wearer-downer
232donphan.png

Torkoal didnt stop Rypherior and Aggron from ripping through my team, so I changed him to a Donphan who does that just dandy.
429mismagius.png

Rotom = frail. So I chose mismagius who is Faster, stronger, and bulkier, that is worth the loss of STAB thunderbolt, her thunderbolt still hits pretty hard.

I tried to make this RMT a little more visually appealing, enjoy! :)

Changes are Bolded

Team Details

362glalie.png

Glalie (M) @ Lum Berry
Ability: Inner Focus
EVs: 204 HP/52 Def/252 Spd
Timid nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Explosion
- Spikes
- Taunt
- Ice Beam
My main sweeper, Dragonair, Really appreciates entry hazards, so i picked a spiker lead. Spikes are an obvious choice, Ice beam is for stab, Taunt for stopping slow leads, and WtfBOOM!!! for my grand finale. I chose lum berry so Sleep leads dont ruin my spiking fun.
How Glalie fairs against the top 10 UU leads
Uxie: Spikes and shadow ball
Ambipom: Set up one layer of spikes and then switch to torkoal
Mesprit: Set up as many spikes as I can before I die
Omastar: Spikes
Spiritomb: Spikes
Alakazam: Spikes then shadow ball if im alive still
Cloyster: Set up spikes then switch to torkoal to spin away other players spikes
Moltres: Switch out to Torkoal
Hippopotas: It will probobly yawn so I just set up muh spikes
Quilfish: Spikes

Dragonair (F) @ Life Orb
Ability: Shed Skin
EVs: 52 HP/252 Atk/204 Spe
Adamant nature (+Spe, -SAtk)
- Dragon Dance
- Extremespeed
- Outrage
-Aqua Tail
I love using dragonair as a sweeper, no one expects it. I switch her in on a choiced attack or something, Dragon dance on the switch, and proceed to sweep. Outrage for stab, Aqua tail for coverage. Extremespeed is for picking off those nasty priority users like Hitmonchan/lee. Very little can stop a +2 stab life orb outrage. With the given evs I outspeed base 105 speed pokes after one dance. After two I out speed Common scarfers such as rotom.

Donphan (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Sturdy
EVs: 52 HP/252 Atk/204 Def
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Rapid Spin
- Stealth Rock
- Assurence
- Earthquake

I used to have a serious Rhypherior problem so I changed Torkoal for Donphan. Donphan Checks Rhypherior and Also checks Aggron as well as still having Rapid spin/Stealth rock support. Assurance is there to hit ghosts or alakazams that hurt my team otherwise.

Mismagius (M) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 Spd/252 SAtk/4 SDef
Timid nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Trick
- Thunderbolt
- Shadow Ball
- Will-o-wisp
Your standard Trickscarf Missy here. Missy mainly serves as a Spin blocker but I can occasionally pull off a sweep. I chose Will-o-wisp to cripple Physical attackers who think they can take me out with physical attacks. Shadow ball is there for stab and Thunderbolt for sweeping if possible as they give great coverage together. Timid over modest so I dont get outsped all the time once i get rid of my scarf.

Chansey (F) @ Leftovers
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 Def/4 Spd/252 SDef
Calm nature (+SDef, -Atk)
- Wish
- Seismic Toss
- Protect
- Thunder Wave
Get ready for the fat lady to sing. Wish passing really helps my team, especially alakazam if life orb has worn it down. Thunder wave is to cripple faster pokes. Protect is only there in case I Chansey is almost dead herself. Seismic toss to Help wear pokes down. I really need some help with Chansey, I need a way to incorperate* Heal bell/Aromatherapy into her moveset.

065alakazam.png

Alakazam (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Synchronize
EVs: 252 Spd/252 SAtk
Timid nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Substitute
- Psychic
- Focus Blast
- Signal Beam
Alakazam is A wonderful sweeper. Outspeeding most of the metagame. I switch in on a death or U-turn and Set up a sub on the switch. After that I proceed to sweep with Alakazams amazing Speed and special attack. Psychic for stab and poisons, Focus blast is for those pesky steels and Signal beam is for darks and opposing psychics. This set eats A hole in most teams, as an early game sweeper i Usually net 1-2 kills with zam.

Currently testing:
Donphat over Torkoal
Mismagius over Rotom

Threat list

Venusaur: Alakazam hits it with psychic
003venusaur.png

Milotic: Rotom Hits it with thunderbolt
350milotic.png

Mismagius: Rotom hits it with shadow ball
429mismagius.png

Spiritomb: Kind of hard to deal with, try to take it out with torkoal
442spiritomb.png

Registeel: Focus blast, registeel can casue my team some trouble
379registeel.png

Arcanine: Waterfall from Dragonair should do the trick
059arcanine.png

Uxie: Shadow ball or +2 Outrage should do the trick, or signal beam, not really a threat
480uxie.png

Rhyperior: Water fall hits it really hard, especially at +2
464rhyperior.png

Alakazam: Shadow ball from rotom
065alakazam.png

229houndoom.png

Hitmontop: Psychic from alakazam

Donphan: Waterfall from Dragonair
232donphan.png

Moltres: Thunderbolt or Waterfall
146moltres.png

Rotom: Shadow ball from Rotom, hope i win the tie
479rotom.png

Swellow: Thunderbolt will hit it hard

Azumarill: Thunderbolt will hit it hard
184azumarill.png

Toxicroak: Can cause some problems, Psychic will work best

First of all I can see this team having problems with Rhyperior. It can easily come in on Torkoal/Chansey and get up a Rock Polish. After that everything is pretty much OHKed (after SR damage). Aggron could do the same.

Herefore I reccomend Donphan over Torkoal.

Donphan @ Leftovers
Adamant Nature (+Att, - SpA)
EVs 52 Hp/200 Hp/252 Att
-Stealth Rock
-Earthquake
-Rapid Spin
-Assurance

This will provide you a reliable check to both threats I mentioned while still being able to setup Stealth Rock and use Rapid Spin.

You could try Taunt on Glalie over either Ice Beam or Shadow Ball (depens on what you want to damage) to stop slower leads like Omastar from setting up.

Also, this team may have problems with solid grass/water/fire cores. You could try mixed Dragonair over DD Dragonair for a bit more instant firepower, though I've never used Dragonair in UU so I'm not 100% sure on how that will work out.

I'd like to point out that Claydol does everything Torkoal does bar 140 BP STAB, while managing to not suck balls be weak to Stealth Rock and be immune to all kinds of Spikes. And unless that Overheat was really keeping the team together, you could probably benefit from a Screen or two anyway. Kudos for using Dragonair, anyway.

Edit: Donphan certainly works too.

I ran some calcs with mixed dragonair , it fails to hit very much very hard with max SPA. I havent run into any omastar leads, but I will try taunt and that Donphan

This. You don't even mention Ice Beam anywhere in your leads list, threats list or even analysis, so getting rid of Ice Beam for Taunt shouldn't be a problem. Either that, or swap it for Cloyster, but I can see why you'd like having an advantage over Alakazam. However, Cloyster is much better in terms of physical defense and offense, with Explosion and Spikes still being present, and Ice Shard and Rock Blast (if you're running Skill Link) are very nice attacks to work with.

Also, I'd highly recommend running a TrickMagius over Rotom, unless you really like the Electric type synergy. You can run exactly the same set, but coming off a better SpA and Speed, whilst simultaneously having more bulk against neutral attacks. Either Scarf or Specs is fine, and Mismagius' higher SpA stat somewhat compensates for its slightly weaker Thunderbolt.

I agree with GtM on Mismagius over Rotom, you get more speed, power, and special bulk and choiced Missey is less predictable than a scarf Rotom, and you will always win the speed tie with opposing Rotoms.

But overall, awesome team, good luck!
