because you're both getting equity from possibly exposing a fed and equity from choosing an IC

btw this is a terrible line of thought for voting des specifically because --

1. it applies to everyone
2. if you believe there is a nonzero chance that the good goes to a smuggler exposed today (i do!) you want to choose someone who you think has good reads and des may not fit that bill
