[OVERVIEW]

Ferroseed is a niche entry hazard setter thanks to its great Eviolite-boosted bulk and defensive typing letting it take on Flying-, Electric-, Water-, and Fairy-type Pokemon such as Aerodactyl, Heliolisk, Blastoise, and Whimsicott. Thanks to these qualities, Ferroseed has a lot of opportunities to set up Spikes or Stealth Rock. Iron Barbs lets it get some chip damage on physical attackers such as Togedemaru while also giving it a fantastic matchup against Dhelmise and Blastoise, punishing any attempt of using Rapid Spin. On top of this, Ferroseed has access to many utility moves such as Leech Seed, Protect, and Knock Off to cripple opposing Pokemon. However, its lackluster offensive stats make Ferroseed setup bait for Pokemon like Braviary and Delphox. It also depends on its Eviolite to deal with Pokemon, making it susceptible to Knock Off. Furthermore, its typing makes it vulnerable to Fire- and Fighting-type Pokemon such as Incineroar, Passimian, and Magmortar, the first two being some of the best Pokemon in the tier.

Moves
========

Spikes wears down opposing Pokemon, making grounded foes take residual damage every time they switch in. Stealth Rock can be run over Spikes if the team cannot afford to have another Stealth Rock setter. Due to its typing, Ferroseed has a great matchup against common entry hazard removers like Rotom and Blastoise, making it one of the best Spikers in the tier. Leech Seed improves Ferroseed's longevity while draining the foe's HP. Protect lets Ferroseed scout moves from Choice-locked Pokemon like Passimian while recovering HP if the foe is afflicted with Leech Seed. Knock Off can cripple some potential switch-ins such as Incineroar and Passimian, removing their items. Gyro Ball paired with its terrible Speed lets Ferroseed do decent damage to fast Pokemon like Accelgor and Sceptile.

Set Details
========

Maximum HP and Defense EVs paired with a Relaxed nature and Eviolite maximize Ferroseed's defensive capacity, letting it take on both physical and special attackers. A Relaxed nature paired with 0 IVs in Speed is needed if Ferroseed runs Gyro Ball to maximize the damage output of this move. Iron Barbs lets Ferroseed whittle down physical attackers and punish Rapid Spin users. An alternative EV spread of 252 HP / 152 Def / 104 SpD can be used to allow Ferroseed to take a Choice Specs Focus Blast from Heliolisk and Savage Spin-Out from Vikavolt.

Usage Tips
========

Ferroseed should switch into Pokemon it counters like Heliolisk, Togedemaru, and Aerodactyl to force them out. While it is in, it should set up entry hazards or cripple opposing Pokemon with Leech Seed or Knock Off. Protect complements Leech Seed very well, giving Ferroseed another turn of recovery. Protect should be used when facing a possible Choice-locked Pokemon like Passimian to scout the move it wants to go for. Protect should also be utilized to sponge Z-Moves from Pokemon like Aerodactyl, as well as scouting super effective coverage moves, mainly from Comfey and Heliolisk, which would otherwise be walled by Ferroseed. Ferroseed should avoid setting up hazards if its facing Xatu, since Magic Bounce bounces them back. If Ferroseed is running Knock Off, it should be used to remove the foe's item. Ferroseed should be wary of Knock Off, since losing Eviolite heavily hinders its defensive capability and makes it whittled down quickly by the Pokemon it usually counters.

Team Options
========

Stealth Rock users like Seismitoad, Rhydon, and Druddigon provide really good support, since they can stack up entry hazards alongside Ferroseed while also checking Fire-type Pokemon. Druddigon is an especially great partner, since it can get up Stealth Rock against Xatu due to its Mold Breaker ability. Similarly, if Ferroseed is running Stealth Rock, Spikes users such as Garbodor and Mega Glalie make good partners to stack hazards. Bulky Water-type Pokemon such as Blastoise, Vaporeon, and Slowking can check the biggest weakness Ferroseed has, which is Fire-type Pokemon. Blastoise can also provide Rapid Spin support. Fighting-type Pokemon can be huge threats to Ferroseed, so Ghost-type Pokemon such as Rotom and Mismagius can be great options to support. These Pokemon can also prevent Rapid Spin users from removing hazards. Pursuit trappers such as Sneasel and Aerodactyl can get rid of Ferroseed's best counter in Xatu. Pivot Pokemon such as Passimian, Heliolisk, and Togedemaru appreciate the hazards Ferroseed can provide, forcing their checks to get whittled down more easily. Passimian can take advantage of Defoggers with Defiant while providing a solid check to Incineroar. Setup Pokemon like Delphox, Incineroar, and Mismagius also appreciate the hazards that Ferroseed provides.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

Ferroseed can run status-inflicting moves such as Toxic and Thunder Wave. Toxic lets Ferroseed wear down Pokemon that might want to switch into it such as Incineroar and Passimian, and Thunder Wave lets it cripple fast Pokemon such as Sceptile and Accelgor, reducing their Speed and making them easier to deal with. However, dropping Protect gives Ferroseed a harder matchup against Pokemon like Passimian and makes it harder to recover HP with Leech Seed.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Xatu**: Due to Magic Bounce, Roost, and its natural bulk, Xatu can indefinitely counter Ferroseed while bouncing back entry hazards. It can also do solid damage with Night Shade, guaranteeing a 3HKO if Ferroseed doesn't switch out.

**Fire-types**: Pokemon such as Incineroar, Magmortar, and Delphox can take advantage of Ferroseed's passivity and scare it out due to its 4x weakness to Fire. However, Leech Seed paired with Protect can wear them down, while Thunder Wave and Toxic can cripple them.

**Fighting-types**: Passimian, Medicham, and Pangoro can threaten Ferroseed due to their powerful STAB moves, and Swords Dance Pangoro can potentially use Ferroseed for setup fodder. However, these Pokemon should be wary of Leech Seed and Protect, especially Medicham, since it can take recoil if High Jump Kick fails to connect. Protect also lets Ferroseed scout what move Choice Scarf Passimian and Choice Band Pangoro want to go for.

**Knock Off**: Ferroseed should be wary of Pokemon that can use Knock Off, such as Passimian and Incineroar, due to the threat of removing its Eviolite. Without this item, Ferroseed misses out on a lot of bulk. This makes it harder to check and counter Pokemon it can usually deal with, such as Aerodactyl, Rotom, and Steelix.

**Taunt**: Taunt users like Golbat and Druddigon can be a nuisance to Ferroseed, preventing it from setting up hazards and using its utility moves. These Pokemon can also switch into Ferroseed and tank Gyro Ball pretty well; however, Golbat doesn't appreciate losing its item to Knock Off.

  • Its typing lets it vulnerable to Fire types. something about how Fire-types are extremely common and give some examples
  • Really depends on its Eviolite to check and counter pokemon so its susceptible to Knock Off.

Moves
========

  • Spikes provides residual damage to teams something about why Ferroseed is a good Spikes setter (the matchup against common spinners)
  • Leech seed is a form of recovery that lets it sustain its longevity.
  • Protect provides a form to scout moves from choice locked pokemon like passimian while also recovering HP if the foe is leech seeded.
  • Gyro ball gives ferroseed a form of offensive pressence, that paired with its terrible speed stat can do some decent damage.
  • Knock Off can be used over gyro ball to remove items and giving a better match up against Klingklang. Klinklang is really irrelevant, and you have a fine matchup versus it without Knock Off. Emphasize more how Knock Off cripples potential switch-ins like Incineroar and others.
Set Details
========

  • 252 HP / 60 Defense / 196 Special Defense paired up with a Relaxed nature maximizes both defensive stats on Vileplume, letting it take on both physical attackers and special attackers this is not Vileplume. also does this EV spread actually accomplish anything in specific?
  • A relaxed nature maximizes the damage output of Gyro ball
  • Iron Barbs can chip physical attackers. and punishes Rapid Spin
Usage Tips
========

  • Should be switched into pokemon it counters like Heliolisk, Togedemaru and Vileplume.
  • While its in, it should utilize that opportunity to set up hazards or leech seed pokemon.
  • Protect should be used when facing possible choice locked pokemon like passimian to scout its move could also mention Protect scouting Z-Moves from Pokemon like Aerodactyl. And it should also be used if an opposing pokemon was leech seeded since you can recover HP.
  • Should avoid setting up hazards if its facing Xatu. what should I do instead then? double out? attack?
Team Options
========

  • Stealth Rock Users like Rhydon and Druddigon provide really good support to Ferroseed since they can stack up hazards while also checking Fire-type pokemon. Druddigon is a better partner since it can get up Stealth Rocks against Xatu due to its Mold Breaker ability.
  • Bulky Water types such as Blastoise, Slowking and Seismitoad can check the biggest weakness Ferroseed has which is Fire-type Pokemon. Seismitoad can also provide Stealth Rock support, letting Ferroseed run spikes making them able to stack hazards.
  • Pursuit trappers such as Sneasel and Aerodactyl can get rid of Ferroseeds best counter, this pokemon being Xatu.
  • Rotom, Slowking and Garbodor are great partners since they can check Fighting-type pokemon.
  • Passimian appreciates the hazards Ferroseed can provide and can abuse defoggers with Defiant while also being a solid check to Incineroar. generalize this to pivots and add Pokemon like Heliolisk and Togedemaru
  • Set up pokemon like Delphox, Incineroar, Mismagius really appreciate the hazards that Ferroseed provides, the later can also block Rapid Spin which supports Ferroseed a lot.
[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

  • Toxic can be used to to wear down pokemon that might want to switch into Ferroseed such as Incineroar and Passimian.
  • Thunder Wave can be used to cripple fast pokemon, reducing their speed and making it easier to deal with. lump these two bullets into one and talk about how Ferroseed can run status-inflicting moves such as Toxic and Thunder Wave but how that means dropping Protect
Checks and Counters
===================

**Fire-types**: Pokemon such as Incineroar, Magmortar and Delphox can abuse the passiveness of Ferroseed and scare it out due to its 4x weakness to Fire. However Leech Seed paired with Protect can wear them down while Thunder Wave and Toxic can cripple them.

**Fighting-types**: Passimian, Medicham and Pangoro can threaten Ferroseed due to their powerful STAB moves, making them solid checks to this pokemon. But these pokemon should be aware of Leech Seed and Protect especially Medicham since it can take recoil if High Jump Kick fails to connect. Ferroseed can also scout Passimian and Choice Band Pangoro. Could throw in a mention of how Swords Dance Pangoro can potentially use Ferroseed for setup fodder

**Xatu**: Due to its ability in Magic Bounce, the form of recovery in Roost and its natural bulk, Xatu can indefinitely counter Ferroseed while also bouncing back any intent of setting up hazards. It can also do solid damage with Night Shade guaranteeing a 3HKO if Ferroseed doesn't switch out. make this the first bullet in Checks and Counters

**Taunt**: Taunt users like Golbat and Druddigon can be a nuisance to Ferroseed since its movepool uses 3 support moves and prevents it from setting up hazards. Due to its petty attack stat these pokemon can switch into Ferroseed and tank Gyro Ball pretty well, however Golbat doesn't appreciate its item being removed if Knock Off is used.

I'm not qc but:
  • You can add spinners and spinblockers in the team options section.
  • "Should be switched into pokemon it counters like Heliolisk, Togedemaru and Vileplume."
    It doesnt beat plume but you can maybe wait till the suspect test is over to edit this.
  • You can add super effective coverage in the checks & counters section. HP Fire Comfey, Focus Blast Heliolisk etc.
  • Ferroseed @ Eviolite
    Ability: Iron Barbs
    EVs: 252 HP / 152 Def / 104 SpD
    Impish Nature
    IVs: 0 Spe
    - Stealth Rock
    - Leech Seed
    - Protect
    - Gyro Ball

    This spread survives a specs focus blast from helio and a savage spin out from vikavolt.

[OVERVIEW]
  • Ferroseed has a great bulk, thanks to Eviolite while also boasting a great defensive typing, letting it take top tier threats such as Heliolisk, Vileplume and Whimsicott. I don't like the wording here, perhaps say something like "With Eviolite, Ferroseed has great bulk...". What you have now doesn't sound like what you're trying to say.
  • The ability Iron Barbs lets it get some chip damage on physical attackers such as Togedemaru. Its typing paired with Iron Barbs gives it a fantastic match up against Dhelmise and Blastoise punishing any attempt of Rapid Spinning.
  • This pokemon can provide entry hazard while also having a diversity of utility moves such as Leech Seed, Protect and Knock Off. I'd elaborate more on both of the points here and split the bullets.
  • Its typing lets it vulnerable to Fire types such as Incineroar, Delphox and Magmortar which are extremely common. Include mentions of Fighting-types too
  • Really depends on its Eviolite to check and counter pokemon so its susceptible to Knock Off.
  • Passive and can be a set up fodder to a lot of pokemon such as Braviary and Delphox. This is rather an important point so I would put this higher.

Moves
========

  • Spikes provides residual damage to teams, due to its typing it has a great match up against common spinners like Dhelimse and Blastoise making it one of the best spikers in the tier. I wouldn't say this. Dhelmise packs Knock Off occasionally and can get rid of Ferroseed's Eviolite, while also being immune to Leech Seed. Mention a different remover instead, like Golbat or Rotom
To what?
  • Knock Off can be used over Gyro Ball to cripple some potential switch-ins like Incineroar and Passimian removing their items.
  • Change these two bullets and just explain how Knock Off crippling certain Pokemon (like the ones you mentioned) is so important and offers more utility than Gyro Ball.
Set Details
========

  • Max HP and Defense paired up with a Relaxed nature maximizes Ferroseed defensive capacity, letting it take on both physical attackers and special attackers.
  • A relaxed nature paired with 0 IVs in speed maximizes the damage output of Gyro ball You can keep this but make sure you specify that you need to be running Gyro Ball.
  • Iron Barbs can chip physical attackers and punishes Rapid Spin.
  • Don't forget about Eviolite
  • I'd add a bullet mentioning an opposite specially defensive spread
Usage Tips
========

  • Should be switched into pokemon it counters like Heliolisk, Togedemaru and Vileplume. Why? And what is the cost of doing that?
  • While its in, it should utilize that opportunity to set up hazards or leech seed pokemon.
  • Protect should be used when facing a possible choice locked pokemon like Passimian to scout its move. It should also be used to sponge some Z-Moves from pokemon like Aerodactyl. And it should also be used if an opposing pokemon was leech seeded since you can recover HP.
  • Ferroseed should avoid setting up hazards if its facing Xatu, Why? if its running Knock Off it should use it to remove its item. If its not running Knock off Ferroseed should double out if you predict the Xatu and try to trap it with another pokemon such as Sneasel. Not sure that I like this last point, maybe just say to switch out into a Xatu check? Not everyone is going to have a trapper.
Team Options
========

I would also re-note that Ferroseed can run Stealth Rock itself, so also include a bullet on Spikes users as well.
  • Pivot pokemon such as Passimian, Heliolisk and Togedemaru appreciates the hazards Ferroseed can provide, forcing their checks to get whittled easier. Passimian can abuse defoggers with Defiant while providing a solid check to Incineroar.
  • Set up pokemon like Delphox, Incineroar, Mismagius really appreciate the hazards that Ferroseed provides, the later can also block Rapid Spin which supports Ferroseed a lot.
This whole section seems really clunky, I would most definitely considering rewording the point on Stealth Rock users and maybe split off the point about them checking Fire-type Pokemon? Steelix doesn't check Fire-types all that well, so all Stealth Rock users don't apply (same with niche Stealth Rock users like Mesprit)

Works, 3/3 once implemented, add credits.

Edit: Apparently this was at 1/3 despite the text in the thread, so count this as 2/3

I feel as the Overview portrays Ferroseed as a much better Pokemon than it actually is; I wouldn't call it a "great hazard setter" (let's not forget that we're talking about a C+ pokemon) and I would emphasize on the fact that it struggles especially because it's weak to Fire- and Fighting- type Pokemon and they're very common in this metagame, Passimian and Incineroar being the two best Pokemon of the tier.

This looks good, QC 3/3

Ferroseed is capable of offering offers itself as a niche hazard setter to teams thanks to its great bulk and Eviolite, great bulk, while also boasting a great defensive typing. The unique ability Ferroseed has in Iron Barbs lets it get some chip damage on physical attackers such as Togedemaru, while also giving it a fantastic match (RS) up against Dhelmise and Blastoise, punishing any attempt of Rapid Spinning. On top of this, Ferroseed has access to a great diversity of utility moves such as Leech Seed, Protect, (AC) and Knock Off, which cripples opposing Pokemon. It also depends on its Eviolite to deal with pokemon Pokemon, making it susceptible to Knock Off. Futhermore Furthermore, its typing lets makes it vulnerable to Fire- and Fighting- (RS) type pokemon Pokemon such as Incineroar, Passimian, (AC) and Magmortar, the first two being the best Pokemon of the tier.

Moves

Spikes wears down opposing Pokemon, making them grounded foes take residual damage to grounded pokemon every time they switch in. Stealth Rock can be run over Spikes if the team cannot afford to have another rocker. Due to its typing, Ferroseed has a great match (RS) up against common hazard removers like Rotom and Blastoise, making it one of the best Spikers in the tier. Leech Seed provides Ferroseed with a form of recovery that lets it sustain its longevity while also draining the foe's HP. Protect gives Ferroseed a form to scout moves from choice locked pokemon Pokemon like Passimian while also recovering HP if the foe is leech seeded inflicted with Leech Seed. Knock Off can cripple some potential switch-ins such as Incineroar and Passimian, (AC) removing their items. Gyro ball Ball paired with its terrible speed stat Speed, (RC) lets Ferroseed do some decent damage to fast Pokemon like Accelgor and Sceptile.

Set Details
========

Maximum HP and Defense EVs paired with a Relaxed nature paired with and Eviolite maximizes Ferroseed's defensive capacity, letting it take on both physical attackers and special attackers. A Relaxed nature paired with 0 IVs in speed Speed is needed if Ferroseed runs Gyro ball since Ball, (AC) as it maximizes the damage output of this move. Iron Barbs lets Ferroseed whittle physical attackers and punish Rapid Spin users. An alternative ev EV spread of 252 HP / 152 Def / 104 SpD can be used and makes as it allows Ferroseed able to take a specs Choice Specs Focus Blast from Heliolisk and a Savage Spin Out from Vikavolt.

Usage Tips
========

Ferroseed should come switch into pokemon Pokemon it counters like Heliolisk, Togedemaru, (AC) and Aerodactyl to force them out. While its in, it should utilize that opportunity to set up hazards or whittle opposing pokemon Pokemon with Leech Seed or Knock Off. Protect complements Leech Seed very well, giving Ferroseed another turn of recovery. This move should be used when facing a possible choice locked pokemon Pokemon like Passimian to scout the move it wants to go for; (RSC) (AP). it Ferroseed should also be utilized to sponge some Z-Moves from pokemon Pokemon like Aerodactyl; (RSC) (AC), it also helps as well as scouting super effective coverage moves, mainly from Comfey and Heliolisk that would otherwise be walled by Ferroseed. Ferroseed should avoid setting up hazards if its facing Xatu, since its ability Magic Bounce can bounce back the hazards. If this Pokemon Ferroseed is running Knock Off, (AC) it should be used it to remove its the foe's item, (RC) (AP). if its If not, Ferroseed it should double out into a solid check. Ferroseed should be wary of Knock Off since it loses a great part of its defensive capability and can be whittled quickly by the pokemon Pokemon it usually counters.

Team Options
========

Stealth Rock Users users like (RS) Seismitoad, Rhydon, (AC) and Druddigon provide really good support to Ferroseed since they can stack up hazards while also checking Fire-type pokemon Pokemon. Druddigon is a great partner since it can get up Stealth Rocks against Xatu due to its Mold Breaker ability. Bulky Water- (RS) type Pokemon such as Blastoise, Vaporeon, (AC) and Slowking can check the biggest weakness Ferroseed has, (AC) which is Fire-type Pokemon. Blastoise makes an excellent partner since it can also provide Rapid Spin Support support. Fighting- (RS) type Pokemon can be a huge threat to Ferroseed, so Ghost-type Pokemon such as Rotom and Mismagius can be great options to support Ferroseed, (RC) (AP). these pokemon These Pokemon can also prevent Rapid Spin users from removing hazards. Pursuit trappers such as Sneasel and Aerodactyl can get rid of Ferroseed's best counter, this pokemon Pokemon being Xatu.
Pivot pokemon Pokemon such as Passimian, Heliolisk, (AC) and Togedemaru appreciates the hazards Ferroseed can provide, forcing their checks to get whittled easier. Passimian can abuse defoggers Defoggers with Defiant while providing a solid check to Incineroar. Set (RS) up pokemon Pokemon like Delphox, Incineroar, and Mismagius also appreciate the hazards that Ferroseed provides. If Ferroseed is running Stealth Rock, Spikes users such as Garbodor also make good partners for this pokemon Pokemon. Garbodor can also deal with Fighting-type Pokemon for Ferroseed.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

Ferroseed can run status-inflicting moves such as Toxic and Thunder Wave, as Toxic lets it wear down pokemon Pokemon that might want to switch into Ferroseed such as Incineroar and Passimian, (RC) (AP). Thunder Wave lets it cripple fast pokemon Pokemon, reducing their speed and making it them easier to deal with. However, (AC) this means that dropping Protect giving gives it a harder matchup against pokemon Pokemon like Passimian and making it harder to recover HP with Leech Seed.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Xatu**: Due to its ability in Magic Bounce, the form of recovery in Roost, (AC) and its natural bulk, Xatu can indefinitely counter Ferroseed while also bouncing back any intent of setting up hazards. It can also do solid damage with Night Shade guaranteeing a 3HKO if Ferroseed doesn't switch out.

**Fire-types**: Pokemon such as Incineroar, Magmortar, (AC) and Delphox can abuse the passiveness of Ferroseed and scare it out due to its 4x weakness to Fire. However, (AC) Leech Seed paired with Protect can wear them down while Thunder Wave and Toxic can cripple them.

**Fighting-types**: Passimian, Medicham, (AC) and Pangoro can threaten Ferroseed due to their powerful STAB moves, making them solid checks to this pokemon Pokemon. Swords Dance Pangoro can potentially use Ferroseed for setup fodder. However, (AC) these pokemon Pokemon should be aware of Leech Seed and Protect, (AC) especially Medicham since it can take recoil if High Jump Kick fails to connect. Protect also lets Ferroseed scout what move Choice Scarf Passimian and Choice Band Pangoro want to go for.

**Knock Off**: Without its Eviolite, Ferroseed misses out on a lot of bulk. This makes it harder to check and counter pokemon Pokemon it can usually deal with, such as Aerodactly Aerodactyl, Rotom, (AC) and Druddigon.

**Taunt**: Taunt users like Golbat and Druddigon can be a nuisance to Ferroseed since its movepool uses 3 support moves and prevents it from setting up hazards. Due to its petty attack stat Attack, these pokemon These Pokemon can switch into Ferroseed and tank Gyro Ball pretty well, however Golbat doesn't appreciate losing its item to Knock Off, although it can switch into Gryo Ball. (Not sure how Golbat and Druddigon's Attack relates to being able to tank Gyro Ball hits from Ferroseed, so I removed that part entirely).

Abejas the first hide tag is for the amchecker. The second one is for you to implement. It got kinda complicated because you already implemented the amcheck, and I checked the analysis as written before you implemented it, but if you implement mine correctly it should be fine.

[OVERVIEW]

Ferroseed is capable of offering offers itself as (this is an ok change; personally I would have condensed it to just "Ferroseed is a niche entry hazard setter thanks to...") a niche entry (some GPers like the first mention of "hazard" for every paragraph to begin with "entry") hazard setter to teams thanks to its great bulk and Eviolite,(RC) great bulk, while also boasting a great Eviolite-boosted bulk and (your changes were not wrong but this makes it a lot more readable) defensive typing. This lets it to take on Grass-, Electric-, Water-, (AC) and Fairy-type pokemon Pokemon such as Heliolisk, Aerodactyl, (AC) and Whimsicott (tell the writer to add a mention of a relevant Water-type). Thanks to these qualities, (AC) Ferroseed has a lot of opportunities to set up hazards like Stealth Rocks or and (this is subject-verb agreement. "hazards" is plural, so this should be "and". "or" only works if it said "a hazard") Spikes. The unique ability Ferroseed has in Iron Barbs lets it get some chip damage on physical attackers such as Togedemaru,(RC) (if "while" is being used to mean "whereas", then a comma must precede it. if "while" is being used to mean essentially "at the same time as", then there's no comma. this "while" is being used to mean the latter, so no comma) while also giving it a fantastic match (RS) up (instead of doing a remove space between a word, just cross out the word and write it again correctly imo) against Dhelmise and Blastoise, punishing any attempt of using Rapid Spinning Spin. On top of this, Ferroseed has access to a great diversity of utility moves such as Leech Seed, Protect, (AC) and Knock Off, which cripples opposing Pokemon. However, its lackluster offensive stats make makes Ferroseed set-up (AH) setup (no; if "set up" is being used as an adjective or noun then it's "setup") bait to Pokemon like Braviary and Delphox. It also depends on its Eviolite to deal with pokemon Pokemon, making it susceptible to Knock Off. Futhermore Furthermore, its typing lets makes it vulnerable to Fire- and Fighting- (RS) type pokemon Pokemon such as Incineroar, Passimian, (AC) and Magmortar, (good changes) the first two being some of the best Pokemon of in the tier.

Spikes wears down opposing Pokemon, making them grounded foes take residual damage to grounded pokemon (amazing changes!) every time they switch in. Stealth Rock can be run over Spikes if the team cannot afford to have another rocker Stealth Rock setter ("rocker" isn't allowed). Due to its typing, Ferroseed has a great match (RS) up against common entry hazard removers like Rotom and Blastoise, making it one of the best Spikers in the tier. Leech Seed provides Ferroseed with a form of recovery that lets it sustain improves its longevity while also draining the foe's HP. Protect gives lets Ferroseed a form to scout moves from Choice-(AH)locked (compound adjectives require a hyphen if they're mentioned before the noun) pokemon Pokemon like Passimian while also recovering HP if the foe is leech seeded inflicted afflicted with Leech Seed. ("inflicted" has a more forced harm undertone, and usually "afflicted" matches Leech Seed from what I've seen) Knock Off can cripple some potential switch-ins such as Incineroar and Passimian, (AC) removing their items. Gyro ball Ball paired with its terrible speed stat Speed, (RC) lets Ferroseed do some decent damage to fast Pokemon like Accelgor and Sceptile. (good changes at the end)

Set Details
========

Maximum HP and Defense EVs paired with a Relaxed nature paired with and Eviolite maximizes maximize (this is subject-verb agreement again. This verb is referring to "EVs", which are plural, so it's "maximize") Ferroseed's defensive capacity, letting it take on both physical attackers and special attackers. A Relaxed nature paired with 0 IVs in speed Speed is needed if Ferroseed runs Gyro ball since Ball, (AC) as it maximizes to maximize (more condensed. Also, "since" and "as" are synonymous when using it to mean "because", and remember the preceding comma) the damage output of this move. Iron Barbs lets Ferroseed whittle down physical attackers and punish Rapid Spin users. An alternative ev EV spread of 252 HP / 152 Def / 104 SpD can be used and makes as it allows to allow (again, more condenced and it sounds better. regardless, you need the comma before the "as" if you're using it to mean "because") Ferroseed able to take a specs Choice Specs Focus Blast from Heliolisk and a Savage Spin Out from Vikavolt.

Usage Tips
========

Ferroseed should come switch into pokemon Pokemon it counters like Heliolisk, Togedemaru, (AC) and Aerodactyl to force them out. While its it is (simple its vs it's) in, it should utilize that opportunity to set up entry hazards or whittle down opposing pokemon Pokemon with Leech Seed or Knock Off. Protect complements (remember that "compliment" is a positive remark and that "complement" means bring to completion. In analyses "complement" is the word people want) Leech Seed very well, giving Ferroseed another turn of recovery. This move Protect should be used when facing a possible Choice-(AH)locked pokemon Pokemon like Passimian to scout the move it wants to go for; (RSC) (AP). it Ferroseed Protect (this was still referring to Protect here) should also be utilized to sponge some Z-Moves from pokemon Pokemon like Aerodactyl; (RSC) (AC), it also helps as well as scouting super effective coverage moves, mainly from Comfey and Heliolisk,(AC) which that (saying "that" implies that some Comfey and Heliolisk are not walled by Ferroseed, which is already covered by the use of "otherwise". "Which" vs" that" is a bit complicated and hard to explain when going over a check but it is very very important) would otherwise be walled by Ferroseed. Ferroseed should avoid setting up hazards if its facing Xatu, since its ability Magic Bounce can bounce back the hazards. If this Pokemon Ferroseed is running Knock Off, (AC) it should be used it to remove its the foe's item, (RC) (AP). if its If not, Ferroseed it Ferroseed (the last mention of "it" was a reference to Kncok Off. Having another "it" referring to Ferroseed without mentioning Ferroseed or Knock Off beforehand results in confusion) should double out into a solid check. Ferroseed should be wary of Knock Off,(AC) since it loses a great part of losing Eviolite heavily hinders its defensive capability and can be makes it whittled down quickly by the pokemon Pokemon it usually counters.

Team Options
========

Stealth Rock Users users like (RS) Seismitoad, Rhydon, (AC) and Druddigon provide really good support,(AC) to Ferroseed since (if "as" or "since: are being used to mean "because" then a comma must precede them) they can stack up entry hazards alongside Ferroseed (this makes the hazard stacking core idea more clear) while also checking Fire-type pokemon Pokemon. Druddigon is an especially (Druddigon was already mentioned so this adds to the added benefits of using it) great partner,(AC) since it can get up Stealth Rocks against Xatu due to its Mold Breaker ability. Similarly, if Ferroseed is running Stealth Rock, Spikes users such as Garbodor (add another example) make good partners to stack hazards. (So I moved the last sentence of this section up to here because it flows much better here and makes way more sense logically) Bulky Water- (RS) type Pokemon such as Blastoise, Vaporeon, (AC) and Slowking can check the biggest weakness Ferroseed has, (AC) which is Fire-type Pokemon. Blastoise makes an excellent partner since it (this is redundant) can also provide Rapid Spin Support support. Fighting- (RS) type Pokemon can be a huge threats ("Pokemon" here is plural) to Ferroseed, so Ghost-type Pokemon such as Rotom and Mismagius can be great options to support Ferroseed it, (RC) (AP). these pokemon These Pokemon can also prevent Rapid Spin users from removing hazards. Pursuit trappers such as Sneasel and Aerodactyl can get rid of Ferroseed's best counter,(RC) this pokemon Pokemon being in Xatu (idt the extra words to emphasize that Xatu is Ferroseed's best counter are needed. It's much simpler to just state the fact if it must be mentioned). (remove line break) Pivot pokemon Pokemon such as Passimian, Heliolisk, (AC) and Togedemaru appreciates (good catch) the hazards Ferroseed can provide, forcing their checks to get whittled easier down more easily (essentially if "easy" is mentioned before the action, then it's "easier"; e.g. "A light gives me an easier time reading" (with "reading" being the action). If "easy" is mentioned after the action, then it's "more easily"; e.g. "A light lets me read more easily"). Passimian can abuse take advantage of ("abuse" is a banned term) defoggers Defoggers with Defiant while providing a solid check to Incineroar. (I removed the entire thing, but you don't need the "for this Pokemon" bit at the end of the second-to-last sentence because it's just fluff)

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]

Ferroseed can run status-inflicting moves such as Toxic and Thunder Wave.(period),(RC) as Toxic lets it Ferroseed wear down pokemon Pokemon that might want to switch into Ferroseed it such as Incineroar and Passimian, (RC) (AP).,(AC) and (I made these changes to redo the sentence structure for better flow; your changes weren't incorrect though) Thunder Wave lets it cripple fast pokemon Pokemon, reducing their speed and making it them easier to deal with. However, (AC) this means that dropping Protect giving gives it Ferroseed a harder matchup against pokemon Pokemon like Passimian and making makes (this is a parallelism error, which is a lot easier to explain not going over a check. This is one of the most important things to get good at imo) it harder to recover HP with Leech Seed.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Xatu**: Due to its ability in Magic Bounce, the form of recovery in Roost, (AC) and its natural bulk, Xatu can indefinitely counter Ferroseed while also bouncing back any intent of setting up entry hazards. However, (AC) Leech Seed paired with Protect can wear them down,(AC) (this is the "while" rule again) while Thunder Wave and Toxic can cripple them.

**Fighting-types**: Passimian, Medicham, (AC) and Pangoro can threaten Ferroseed due to their powerful STAB moves,(RC) making them solid checks to this pokemon Pokemon.(period),(AC) and (this isn't needed considering they are listed under Checks and Counters) Swords Dance Pangoro can potentially use Ferroseed for setup fodder. However, (AC) these pokemon Pokemon should be aware wary of Leech Seed and Protect, (AC) especially Medicham,(AC) (a comma is here not only because of the "since"/"as" rule but also because "especially Medicham" is a nonessential clause) since it can take recoil if High Jump Kick fails to connect.

(this section has no mention of Knock Off users, so you should question that)

**Taunt**: Taunt users like Golbat and Druddigon can be a nuisance to Ferroseed,(AC) preventing since its movepool uses 3 support moves and prevents it from setting up hazards and using its utility moves. Due to its petty attack stat Attack, these pokemon These Pokemon can also switch into Ferroseed and tank Gyro Ball pretty well,(RC);(SC) however,(AC) (grammatically speaking, "however" is a conjunctive adverb (I can explain this more if you want), but most conjunctive adverbs are those common transition words, like "therefore" and "otherwise". In any case, it is not grammatically correct for a conjunctive adverb to follow a comma like that. You must create a new clause, which is done by using either a semicolon or period to make a new clause. Also, a comma should always follow the transition word, like I put there) Golbat doesn't appreciate losing its item to Knock Off,(RC) although it can switch into Gryo Ball (this was said already). (Not sure how Golbat and Druddigon's Attack relates to being able to tank Gyro Ball hits from Ferroseed, so I removed that part entirely). (yeah that is a good catch)

I just noticed something. Where it says "Aerodactyl,(AC) as well as it also helps scouting super effective coverage moves", it should just be "as well as scouting". That's my fault when making the implement version. Also remove the "(AC)" comment. Thanks

[OVERVIEW]

Ferroseed is a niche entry hazard setter thanks to its great Eviolite-boosted bulk and defensive typing.(RP) This lets letting it take on Grass- Flying-, Electric-, Water-, and Fairy-type Pokemon such as Heliolisk, Aerodactyl, Whimsicott, and Blastoise Aerodactyl, Heliolisk, Blastoise, and Whimsicott. (needed to fix the order of Pokemon so that it matched the list of typings. you also listed Aerodactyl when there was no corresponding typing, so I just changed Grass to Flying to compensate. qc approved by me) Thanks to these qualities, Ferroseed has a lot of opportunities to set up hazards like Stealth Rock and Spikes or Stealth Rock. The unique ability Ferroseed has in Iron Barbs lets it get some chip damage on physical attackers such as Togedemaru while also giving it a fantastic matchup against Dhelmise and Blastoise, punishing any attempt of using Rapid Spin. On top of this, Ferroseed has access to a great diversity of many (awkward phrasing) utility moves such as Leech Seed, Protect, and Knock Off,(RC) which cripples to cripple opposing Pokemon. However, its lackluster offensive stats make Ferroseed setup bait to for Pokemon like Braviary and Delphox.

Moves
========

Leech Seed provides Ferroseed with a form of recovery that improves its Ferroseed's longevity while also draining the foe's HP. Protect lets Ferroseed scout moves from Choice-locked Pokemon like Passimian while also recovering HP if the foe is afflicted with Leech Seed. Knock Off can cripple some potential switch-ins such as Incineroar and Passimian, removing their items. Gyro Ball paired with its terrible Speed lets Ferroseed do some decent damage to fast Pokemon like Accelgor and Sceptile.

Set Details
========

An alternative EV spread of 252 HP / 152 Def / 104 SpD can be used to allow Ferroseed to take a Choice Specs Focus Blast from Heliolisk and Savage Spin-Out(AH) from Vikavolt.

Usage Tips
========

Ferroseed should switch into Pokemon it counters like Heliolisk, Togedemaru, and Aerodactyl to force them out. While it is in, it should set up entry hazards or whittle down cripple (imo better conveys what you're tryna do to them) opposing Pokemon with Leech Seed or Knock Off. Protect complements Leech Seed very well, giving Ferroseed another turn of recovery. Protect should be used when facing a possible Choice-locked Pokemon like Passimian to scout the move it wants to go for. Protect should also be utilized to sponge some Z-Moves from Pokemon like Aerodactyl, as well as scouting super effective coverage moves, mainly from Comfey and Heliolisk, which would otherwise be walled by Ferroseed. Ferroseed should avoid setting up hazards if its facing Xatu, since its ability Magic Bounce can bounce back the hazards bounces them back. If Ferroseed is running Knock Off, it should be used to remove the foe's item.(period) If not, Ferroseed should double out into a solid check.(this point doesn't really follow the previous well at all and feels more like fluff than actual substance) Ferroseed should be wary of Knock Off, since losing Eviolite heavily hinders its defensive capability and makes it whittled down quickly by the Pokemon it usually counters.

Team Options
========

Pivot Pokemon such as Passimian, Heliolisk, and Togedemaru appreciates appreciate the hazards Ferroseed can provide, forcing their checks to get whittled down more easily. Passimian can take advantage of Defoggers with Defiant while providing a solid check to Incineroar. Setup Pokemon like Delphox, Incineroar, and Mismagius also appreciate the hazards that Ferroseed provides.

Other Options
=============

Ferroseed can run status-inflicting moves such as Toxic and Thunder Wave. Toxic lets Ferroseed wear down Pokemon that might want to switch into it such as Incineroar and Passimian, and Thunder Wave lets it cripple fast Pokemon (probably should list some fast Pokemon Ferroseed would potentially have the chance to cripple), reducing their speed Speed and making them easier to deal with. However, dropping Protect gives Ferroseed a harder matchup against Pokemon like Passimian and makes it harder to recover HP with Leech Seed.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Xatu**: Due to its ability in Magic Bounce, the form of recovery in Roost, and its natural bulk, Xatu can indefinitely counter Ferroseed while also bouncing back any intent of setting up entry hazards.

This makes it harder to check and counter Pokemon it can usually deal with, such as Aerodactyl, Rotom, and Druddigon. (Druddigon does negative damage even with an offensive set to non-Eviolite Ferroseed fwiw)
