[OVERVIEW]

With its typing, Eviolite-boosted bulk, and access to Spikes and Stealth Rock, Ferroseed functions as an effective entry hazard setter and good blanket check to several offensive and defensive threats, including Ribombee, non-Trick Mesprit, Gigalith, and Aromatisse. These same traits alongside Iron Barbs allow Ferroseed to annoy pivots such as Togedemaru and removers like non-High Jump Kick Tsareena and Alolan Sandslash. Despite lacking reliable recovery, Leech Seed and Ferroseed's natural immunity to Toxic and chip damage from sand can make it incredibly hard for some teams to wear down. However, prominent Pokemon like Charizard and Passimian pressure Ferroseed with their STAB moves due to its typing. Ferroseed's passivity also leaves it unable to do much in the face of setup sweepers like Scrafty, Sandaconda, and Cofagrigus as well as foes like Trevenant and Sap Sipper Drampa. Finally, Ferroseed must exercise caution around foes like Tsareena, Aggron, and Mesprit, since they can punish it for recklessly switching in with either super effective coverage or moves like Knock Off and Trick.

Stealth Rock can be considered over Spikes to save a slot on Ferroseed's team and pressure non-grounded foes like Levitate Weezing, but Spikes tends to be more useful for reliably wearing down grounded Pokemon like Gigalith, Sandaconda, and Jellicent. Protect provides Ferroseed with additional recovery from Leech Seed and lets it scout Choice-locked foes like Passimian and Pokemon like Tsareena, which may have super effective coverage. Running a Relaxed nature and no Speed IVs maximizes the damage output of Gyro Ball, which compensates for Ferroseed's passivity. Try not to immediately use Gyro Ball too much, though, as the move has limited PP. Knock Off is an alternative utility option that punishes Charizard on the switch as well as other foes looking to take advantage of Ferroseed's passivity. However, it can be difficult to make room for, since Ferroseed's other moves are incredibly useful. Gigalith is a great partner, covering for Ferroseed's weakness to Fire, completing an entry hazard stacking core with it, and using sand to give it an even easier time wearing foes down. In return, Ferroseed switches into Water-types like Lanturn and Wishiwashi and can make up for its lack of recovery with Leech Seed. Jellicent can check Fighting-types and block Rapid Spin for Ferroseed, all while suffocating opposing walls with its utility options and Ferroseed's entry hazards. Offensive partners like Passimian, Galarian Articuno, and Archeops pressure threats Ferroseed lets in, such as Scrafty and Charizard. These teammates also benefit from their switch-ins being worn down by entry hazards, with the former two punishing Defog attempts with Defiant and Competitive, respectively.

These same traits alongside Iron Barbs allow Ferroseed to annoy common removers like Tsareena lacking High Jump Kick and Alolan Sandslash. and pivots such as Togedemaru Despite lacking reliable recovery, Leech Seed and Ferroseed's natural immunity to Toxic and chip damage from sand can make it incredibly hard for some teams to wear down. However, prominent Pokemon like Charizard and Passimian are capable of pressuring Ferroseed with their respective STAB moves due to its typing. Ferroseed's passivity also leaves it unable to do much in the face of setup sweepers like Scrafty and Cofagrigus. Though Leech Seed can be troublesome for teams to play around, it can also provide Pokemon like Trevenant and Sap Sipper Drampa an easy point of entry. Finally, many Pokemon that Ferroseed would like to switch into, such as Tsareena, Aggron, Whimsicott, and Mesprit, often carry either super effective coverage or ways to reduce its bulk by removing its Eviolite, both of which severely limit its effectiveness.

Stealth Rock can be considered over Spikes to save a slot on Ferroseed's team and exert pressure on non-grounded foes like Levitate Weezing, but Spikes tends to be more useful for reliably wearing down grounded Pokemon perhaps provide some examples of who is useful to wear down with Spikes like Sandaconda or Gigalith or something. Protect provides Ferroseed with additional recovery from Leech Seed and lets it scout against Choice-locked foes like Passimian and Pokemon like Weezing that may have super effective coverage. Running a Relaxed nature and no Speed IVs maximizes the damage output of Gyro Ball, which compensates for Ferroseed's passivity. Although this is true, I'd also provide a note as to Gyro Ball having only 8 pp, which means it can overtime be stalled out. Gigalith is a great partner, covering for Ferroseed's weakness to Fire, completing a hazard stacking core with it, and using sand to give it an even easier time wearing foes down. In return, Ferroseed switches into Water-types like Lanturn and Wishiwashi and can make up for its lack of recovery with Leech Seed. Jellicent can check Fighting-types and block Rapid Spin for Ferroseed, all while becoming harder for opposing walls to handle between its utility options and the hazards both suffocating them. Offensive Ghost-types like Silvally-Ghost can be considered on faster teams, though spinblockers are not necessary teammates by any means. I probably wouldn't even mention this sentence tbh because you aren't going to use Ferroseed on more offensive teams. The use of Spikes compensates for Balance teams' lack of damage output and if a more offensive team wants to utilize Spikes they'll resort with something more effective like Froslass. Wallbreakers like Passimian, Galarian Articuno, and Archeops pick up the slack for Ferroseed against threats it lets in, such as Scrafty and Charizard. These examples also benefit from their switch-ins being worn down by entry hazards, with the former two punishing Defog attempts with Defiant and Competitive, respectively. I think you could also mention (optional) a quick sentence or two about some of Ferro's other support options like Knock Off - which is immensely useful for catching Zards on the switch, albeit difficult to fit since the other moves are quite necessary.

Similarly, Toxic adds on to the residual damage that opposing Pokemon are forced to take dealing with Ferroseed can be kept but I'm not really sure when Toxic > Knock Off so an example would help if you don't remove. However, both of these moves can be difficult to make room for, since Ferroseed's other moves are incredibly useful to say the least. Gigalith is a great partner, covering for Ferroseed's weakness to Fire, completing a hazard stacking core with it, and using sand to give it an even easier time wearing foes down. Wallbreakers can prob go w like "offensive pokemon" or smth to that effect given how these pokemon arent too strong naturally like Passimian, Galarian Articuno, and Archeops pick up the slack for Ferroseed against threats it lets in, such as Scrafty and Charizard. These examples also benefit from their switch-ins being worn down by entry hazards, with the former two punishing Defog attempts with Defiant and Competitive, respectively.
