Ferrothorn is a thorn in the side for many Legendary Pokemon, solidifying it as one of the best non-Legendary Pokemon in Ubers, walling even the greatest titans such as Necrozma-DM, Zekrom, and Dracovish with Iron Defense paired with Body Press. Leech Seed and Spikes allow Ferrothorn to force progress on the opposing team by punishing switches. Due to its choice of moves, it cannot reliably check special attackers such as Xerneas and Kyogre, so checks such as Ho-oh, Blissey, and Eternatus are greatly appreciated. Yveltal and Xerneas can take on Ghost-types such as Calyrex-S and Marshadow which take advantage of its passivity, and loves Ferrothorn's ability to deal with Zekrom and Necrozma-DM. Kyogre checks Ho-oh and set rain to increase its survivability and benefits from Ferrothorn's ability to deal with Zekrom. Sweepers such as Calryex-S benefit from Ferrothorn's ability to wear down the opposing team.

Ferrothorn is a thorn in the side for many Legendary Pokemon, solidifying it as one of the best non-Legendary Pokemon in Ubers. This forbidden fruit walls even the greatest titans of ubers such as Necrozma-DM, Zekrom, Dracovish, and others (if you can't name them, drop the mention) with Iron Defense paired with Body Press. Ferrothorn is one of the few viable Spikes setter thanks to its ability and great defensive typing which makes the entry hazard very strong at forcing passive damage(Spikes are good, yes. the comment about the ability is kind of awkward here and doesn't tell me much). Leech Seed allows Ferrothorn to gain an incredible amount of increases Ferrothorn's passive recovery alongside Leftovers while chipping foes. This set is completely walled by Calyrex-S, and Marshadow, so Yveltal is a good partner to lure them down (how does Yveltal lure Marshadow? name a different check for Marshadow cause Low Kick/CC 2HKOs) to set up Ferrothorn for success. Kyogre also appreciates Ferrothorn checking Zekrom, while Kyogre's rain can possibly let Ferrothorn survive a Fire-type move in a pinch. (change this last sentence so it's not the exact same as the on-site one)

I'd like to see a mention of how Ferrothorn is the best PHYSICALLY defensive Steel. It's also a steel that doesn't beat Xerneas and a Grass that doesn't beat Kyogre; add teammates that help with these matchups like Ho-Oh, Blissey, NDM, Eternatus.
