Rejected Final Stats Input

I am unsure if this is suggested or not (I didn't find it in the search tool).

Idea: I would like to recommend the ability to manually input finalized stats that automatically calculates the EVs & IVs. Basically a reversed version of inputting EVs to calculate a final stat.

Example: I have a lvl 50 Kyogre. If I enter the finalized HP stat of 192, the EVs will automatically adjust itself to 132 EVs in HP.

Why is it a good idea?:

I have a team I built in-game for a local or online tournament played in-game. The TO is requesting a teamsheet via PokePaste. Though, my PC deleted my teams off of Showdown & I never saved the paste or my paste got deleted as well. Instead of trying to figure out what EVs I used by trying to match the stat with the EVs. I could simply input the finalized stat itself which calculates the EVs for me.

You can't automatically calculate the EVs and IVs of a Pokemon based on its current stat. Your example of 192 HP Kyogre could have been with 2 HP IVs and 252 HP EVs. In order to reverse engineer IVs/EVs from a Pokemon, you would either need to know its IVs in advance (from e.g. using the judge) or reduce its EVs to 0 temporarily using something like EV-reducing Berries.

Really, it's just as fast to drag the sliders as it would be to type in the IVs and the actual stat. The use case presented (reverse engineering a team's stats to create a pokepaste) is also not really something super common. Most irl events are VGC events, and official VGC events use actual stats for team sheets, not pokepastes. The damage calculator and teambuilder's current functions are sufficient for what you're needing to do.

I understand ^-^ It was only an example. Sometimes my PC deletes my cookies automatically (even when disabled) due to my lack of PC storage space so I lose teams on Showdown & the pokepaste links so I have to rely on the ingame version to try to remake it. Thank you for responding. I appreciate it.
