First Post Ever... Please, take a look

Hey, I’m just looking for some help with my current team. I am not new to pokemon, but I just got into the competitive side of it. I mostly use this team in Battle Rev Wifi, where I have moderate, but not great success. I also use this team for battling my friends, where it completely owns, but I am interested in making it better. Any and all help is appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Gengar @ Black Sludge
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 6 HP, 252 SpAt, 252 Spd
Nature: Timid
Shadow Ball
Psychic
Thunderbolt
Hidden Power (Fighting)

This is my lead pokemon. He is mostly just a fast, diverse attacker to hit as many leads for supereffective damage as possible. I like the accuracy of Hidden Power over Focus Blast and it took me a long time to get, so replacing it would be very hard for me.

Metagross @ Lum Berry
Ability: Clear Body
EVs: 252 Atk, 200 SpDf, 252 Spd
Nature: Adamant
Meteor Mash
Earthquake
Agility
Explosion

I love Metagross’s type coverage with the steel and ground combo so I went with an Agil-gross. He works well with clear body and a lum berry to absorb stat reducers and a status while he sets up with agility.

Milotic @ Wise Glasses
Ability: Marvel Scale
EVs: 84 HP, 252 Def, 106 SpAt, 56 SpDf, 12 Spd
Nature: Bold
Surf
Ice Beam
Hidden Power (Electric)
Recover

Milotic provides me with special attack power as well as some walling capability with her great defenses and recover. Again, hidden power took loads of work but is perfect for taking out Gyarados.

Blissey @ Leftovers
Ability: Serene Grace
EVs: 252 HP, 252 Def, 6 SpDf
Nature: Bold
Seismic Toss
Counter
Aromatherapy
Softboiled

Blissey with Counter from Emerald is really fun to use. She slays almost all non-STAB fighting type move users for a quick and unexpected kill. She is my team status healer and walls special attackers better than anyone and Counters any physical threat.

Ninjask @ Focus Sash
Ability: Speed Boost
EVs: 252 HP, 6 Atk, 252 Spd
Nature: Jolly
X-Scissor
Swords Dance
Protect
Baton Pass

I use Ninjask middle or late battle to set up Salamence. It either works great or completely fails because of a sand storm of something else and uses up a valuable spot on my team. I usually only use him when I don’t see a T-tar, Hippowdon, or Abomasnow in Wifi Battling. I am not sure I am sold on using Ninjask, but when he works, he works well.

Salamence @ Choice Band
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 6 HP, 252 Atk, 252 Spd
Nature: Jolly
Dragon Claw
Fire Fang
Earthquake
Aerial Ace

Salamence is my all out sweeper. A choiced Dragon Claw tears into nearly everything and Fire Fang and Earthquake take care of any steels. When Ninjask gets to set up Salamence he is unopposed with his insane attack.

a few issues here.

1. don't give gengar black sludge/lefties. it's frail anyways. go with llife orb/wise glasses/expert belt instead. you can always try a choice item of course.

2. ninjask seems like an odd guy to have on this team. you won't really feel obliged to pass to metagross since it has agility already. gengar's too frail to risk a BP. you can't be sure what they bring in to deal with your ninjask and gengar can eat a big hit on the switch. salamence is choice banded which means it can't change attack anyways. it can be a big sucker for anything with ice shard. then you'll have to switch anyways. too situational.

3. you have absolutely no status inducers on this team. that can be a big disadvantage, even if you have aromatherapy. if they can catch your blissey switching in and out to heal those statuses, you'll be on your back foot the whole game. put hypnosis on milotic or gengar.

4. you might want to give milotic rest. works well with aromatherapy.

You don't have a Sleep inducer, so unless you're really worried about Heracross I'd put Hypnosis on Gengar over Psychic. I'd still suggest Focus Blast over HP Fighting, as 50 extra base power is a massive difference and I'm guessing it makes the difference between a 1 and 2HKO against TTar (and HP Fight also prevents you from having a 31 speed IV and tying with other Gengar). I also agree that Gengar is generally better off with an offensive item, or you could also use Focus Sash since it's a starter.

On Salamence, Aerial Ace isn't a great option, I'd put Stone Edge over it to do more damage to Gyara, or just replace it with Roost if you take CB off. Fire Blast is also better than Fire Fang in general though an attack boost probably makes it more useful. More importantly, I'd be hesitant about passing attack boosts to something that's got a choice band, since you'd have to pass again if an opponent switches in that resists your attack. LO or another boosting item would probably be a better choice.

I would use Hypnosis and Focus Blast over Psychic and HP Fighting on Gengar. Focus Blast is 50 BP stronger than HP Fighting. That is HUGE. Also, Leftovers isntead of Black Sludge, just in case you ever run into a pokemon with Trick.

Stone Edge over Aerial Ace on Salamence. I also suggest Fire Blast over Fire Fang, considering you can OHKO Skarmory with it, which otherwise walls that set.

Miltotic should be running max HP, and Leftovers if you want her to wall anything. Taking those two things away hurts, a lot.

I would replace Ninjask with Jirachi or Vaporeon, to pass Wishes around to Salamence and Metagross. They will also add a little more bulk to your team, which could prove helpful.

Ok, I see your logic and have made some changes. Vaporeon is now in instead of Ninjask, so should i replace Milotic then too or is it fine with two defensive Waters?

1.I agree with replacing milotic for Vaporeon.

2.Replace Ninjask with maybe Gliscor. Since what team couldn't use a Heracross/Tyranitar/Garchomp/Lucario counter?

3.You have too many EV's on Metagross.

[EDITED]

Metagross @ Lum Berry
Ability: Clear Body
EVs: 252 Atk, 200 SpDf, 58 Spd
Nature: Adamant
Meteor Mash
Earthquake
Agility
Explosion

Sorry for the typo

Alright, I did some updating today. Im not sure on the last Pokemon so I have two options.

Gengar @ Wide Lens
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 6 HP, 252 SpAt, 252 Spd
Nature: Timid
Shadow Ball
Focus Blast
Thunderbolt
Hypnosis

Added Focus Blast and Hypnosis and took out HP Fighting and Psychic. I put on the Wide Lens for a little more accuracy on the two new moves.

Metagross @ Lum Berry
Ability: Clear Body
EVs: 252 Atk, 200 SpDf, 58 Spd
Nature: Adamant
Meteor Mash
Earthquake
Agility
Explosion

Same as before but I fixed the EV typo.

Salamence @ Life Orb
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 140 HP, 252 Atk, 118 Spd
Nature: Jolly
Dragon Claw
Fire Blast
Stone Edge
Dragon Dance

Replaced his item and switched his moves around quite a bit. I took away some speed EVs with the addition of Dragon Dance

Vaporeon @ Expert Belt / Wise Glasses
Ability: Water Absorb
EVs: 252 HP, 252 Def, 6 SpDf
Nature: Modest
Surf
Ice Beam
Hidden Power (Electric)
Wish

This guy is my new defensive Wish user as well as an offensive force with good type coverage and the ability to take down Gyarados. I am still open to suggestions on it. I would definitely like Leftovers on it, but I also want to use this team when the Item Clause is in effect.

Blissey @ Leftovers
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 HP, 252 Def, 6 SpDf
Nature: Bold
Seismic Toss
Counter
Aromatherapy
Softboiled

Unchanged

Ok here are the two options of the last slot. Both are Defensive with a little Special Defense in there too. I have always wanted a Weezing like this to help out Blissey with walling, and RedSP suggested a Gliscor.

Weezing @ Black Sludge
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP, 129 Def, 129 SpDf
Nature: Quiet
Flamethrower
Will-O-Wisp
Rest
Explosion

He would be my physical wall or an Explode if needed. Rest would work well with Blisseys Aromatherapy and it is more reliable than Pain Split.

Gliscor @ Muscle Band
Ability: Hyper Cutter
EVs: 140 HP, 58 Atk, 100 Def, 100 SpDf, 12 Spd
Nature: Impish
Earthquake
Aerial Ace
Swords Dance / Rock Polish / Stealth Rock
Roost

Again a sort of Physical wall, but I need a little Special Defense too. He is a lot more offensive than Weezing and a great counter to some extremely powerful pokes. Again, I would use Leftovers but I want to use this team with the Item Clause in effect too.
