First RMT- 11th team total made

Hello all. Well, I guess I'll just cut to the chase. Please rate this team! Sorry for the lack of sprites, I have no clue how to post them. Thanks!

Gengar @ Expert Belt
Nature: Hasty
EVs: 100 Atk/252 Spd/156 SAtk

-Hypnosis
-Substitute
-Focus Punch
-Shadow Ball

This does quite well as a lead for me so far. It cripples many SR leads via Hypnosis, and then I Sub next turn. Tyranitar really hates this thing because of Focus Punch. The only lead I've really found trouble with is Metagross, because if Hypnosis missses, it gets SR set up, and then it can break my subs without taking much damage from my attacks.

Honchkrow @ Choice Scarf
Nature: Naive
Ability: Super Luck
EVs: 248 Atk/48 SAtk/212 Spd

-Night Slash
-Drill Peck
-Superpower
-Heat Wave

This is a revenge killer. Takes great advantage of the good 125 Attack stat and Super Luck, which has netted me some useful hits from Night Slash. Heat Wave is there for Skarmory and Metagross, who both wall the set and otherwise give my team trouble. Pretty standard.

Magnezone @ Leftovers
Nature: Modest
Ability: Magnet Pull
EVs: 172 HP/84 Spd/252 SAtk

-Magnet Rise
-Substitute
-Thunderbolt
-Hidden Power Ice

The standard Steel Killer set. Also functions well as a special sweeper; T-bolt and HP Ice get coverage on everything except other Magnezone, but Magnezone has no business taking on another Magnezone one on one anyway.

Salamence @ Life Orb
Nature: Rash
EVs: 80 Atk/252 SAtk/176 Spd

-Draco Meteor
-Fire Blast
-Brick Break
-Roost

This is an amazing mixed sweeper. Period. I've swept whole teams with it, and it's always served me well. An especially alluring aspect is Brick Break as a nasty surprise for Blissey switching in to what appears to be a CS Salamence; it happens quite often.

Suicune @ Leftovers
Nature: Bold
EVs: 252 HP/252 Def/4 Spd

-Surf
-Calm Mind
-Rest
-Sleep Talk

Great all-around wall. Almost invincible after a couple of CMs. Phazers and Tyranitar give it hell though.

Celebi @ Leftovers
Nature: Bold
EVs: 252 HP/220 Def/36 Spd

-Reflect
-Grass Knot
-Recover
-Hidden Power Ice

My Celebi hasn't seen much action, but it works decently well. I'm thinking about replacing it with another dual wall, but I'm honestly not too sure.

And that's all! Don't forget to rate!

Hey.

First of all, I don't really think Gengar does anything particularly useful for you. SubPunch is really designed to be a wallbreaker, not a lead (especially at the moment, so many of the common leads beat Gengar easily enough). Considering that you already have a fantastic wallbreaker in Salamence, I'd suggest simply dropping Gengar alltogether. A Jirachi with Leftovers and Iron Head/Stealth Rock/Fire Punch/U-turn would work well here, giving you both a reliable lead and a better defensive check against dragon types.

I'm not really a huge fan of Honchkrow in OU, but in the spirit of keeping the team as intact as possible, I'm going to suggest that you should run a Life Orb set, on which I'd probably run Pursuit or Sucker Punch over Heat Wave. There's also the option of running both Pursuit and Sucker Punch over Night Slash and Heat Wave.
Alternatively, should you be willing to go for some bigger changes, a CB Scizor would work extremely well here, as it's much less frail than Honchkrow and can do many of the same jobs.

Magnezone seems slightly out of place here, you don't really have such a huge problem with steels that you need a 100% reliable way of getting rid of them, and you aren't using a Dragon Dance sweeper, which is the main reason to use Magnezone. A Heatran would work extremely well here, with a Choice Scarf set to make up for losing the one on Honchkrow. They do pretty similar jobs, but Heatran is more useful as an all-round pokemon seeing as Magnezone's ability is somewhat wasted here. Using a steel type as your Scarfer also fixes your Lucario problem.
Heatran should use a moveset of Fire Blast/Earth Power/Hidden Power [Electric]/Explosion, with HP Electric taken over Dragon Pulse to help deal with Gyarados.
Another possible option would be to keep Magnezone, although I'd probably run a Choice Scarf on it, and to run something in place of Celebi that takes advantage of it a bit better, such as a DD Kingdra, who works incredibly well with Magnezone and MixMence. If you run Scarf Magnezone, you should use HP Fire rather than HP Ice.

As for Celebi, I think the current set isn't really a great choice here. If you decide not to go with my suggestion of a DD Kingdra, you might want to try out a moveset of Leaf Storm/HP Fire/Thunder Wave/Recover with a Modest nature and an EV spread of 228 HP/244 SAtk/36 Spe, which still works reasonably well as a defensive pokemon (especially in combination with ScarfTran, who would be the best choice when not using Kingdra), while adding a bit more of an offensive threat, as well as paralysis support, which goes a long way towards helping Honchkrow sweep.

Hope this helped, and good luck.

PS - I'd probably try to flesh out the descriptions a bit before it gets locked.

try this gengar as a lead

Gengar@focus sash
{naive}
evs: 252 speed / 186 attack / 72 satk
- Hypnosis
- Counter
- Explosion / destiny bond
- shadow ball

this thing has potential to cripple 3 enemy pokemon, always gets 1, and a lot of the time gets two. Hypnosis initially, to cripple something, counter a pursuiter or any physical attacker, and then explode, or destiny bond. Tyranitar's sandstorm gives it hell, and hypnosis' accuracy is annoying, but it is still a great lead. Explosion is there to attack weak points for massive damage, but can get annoying when against other ghosts, steels, and rocks. Destiny bond is great for getting things like spiritomb who will ko you with shadow ball, but you cant scratch with explosion. Shadow ball is there as filler just so you can do some damage. If you use destiny bond dump all the attack evs in the special attack.

In reply to Tab: Thanks so much!! I did change to Jirachi, CB Scizor and Heatran. I'll try it out soon enough. Should I still replace Celebi given the changes, or leave it as it now is?
