Edit: I'm pretty satisfied with tangrowth. Biggest problem at the moment: Toxic spikes (poison type or rapid spinner reccomendations?), SD Lucario/Scizor (Priority hurts)
Well, here's my team. Shoddy, by the way.
Lead:
Infernape@Life Orb
52 Attack/232 speed/224 Special Attack
Naive
-Nasty Plot
-Flamethrower
-Grass Knot
-Close Combat
Basic mixape, good for destroying common walls: Skarmory, Blissey, mainly. Usable as late game sweeper, but often, has lots of trouble, notably against Gyarados, Salamence.
Gengar@Black Sludge
252 HP/252 Speed/4 Special Defense
Timid
-Hypnosis
-Mean Look
-Perish Song
-Destiny Bond
Switch it in on something it can take a hit from, or as revenge against something slow, hypnosis it. If they stay in, great, perish trap and use destiny bond incase they wake up and get a CH or something. If they switch, mean look, then perish song/destiny bond depending on whether or not I feel they can OHKO, and their speed relative to Gengar's.
Often clears special walls, which lets a special sweeper come in and.. sweep. If I had a true special sweeper, which we'll get to later.
Perish Song also acts as phazing.
Jolteon@Leftovers
4 HP/252 Special Attack/252 Speed
Timid
-Baton Pass
-Substitute
-HP Ice 70
-Thunderbolt
Closest thing I have to a special sweeper. Of course, fast enough to outspeed anything if they don't have boosts, substitutes can scout, and be passed to Infernape, Gengar or Weavile. Support pokemon, but can sweep if necessary.
Vaporeon@Leftovers
252 HP/78 Def/180 Sp. Def
Bold
-Wish
-Protect
-Toxic
-Surf
Wish support for the team, and toxic wears down the enemy, hopefully causing switches for me to scout their team. Wish/Protect/Toxic together work wonders, and Vaporeon is bulky enough against physical and special attackers, that it will be able to pull it off, granted no paralysis (burn and poison kill it too, negating leftovers and thensome) Water Absorb and Jolteon's Volt absorb have been working for me. But, I've been looking for a good phys. wall to work with vaporeon, not sure what to use. More on that later.
Weavile@Lum Berry
4 HP/ 252 Attack/252 Speed
Jolly
-Swords Dance
-Ice Shard
-Brick Break
-Night Slash
My favorite sweeper, can be switched into most walls (skarmory can phaze though, and bronzong can kill with Gyro ball, for example). If I think they'll Status me or switch, I use SD. As long as i feel safe, I'll usually get 2 dances in, providing enough power to sweep. I usually keep weavile hidden until the end, it works a lot better that way. Physical sweeper.
Tangrowth@Leftovers
Chlorophyll
252 HP/230 Defense/28 Speed
Impish
-Knock Off
-Power Whip
-Leech Seed
-Stun Spore
The physical wall. As I said before, I've tried different physical walls to go along with vaporeon and jolteon's immunities (and gengar's, I suppose). First, I had Gliscor, but I didn't really like it at the time. Though I may try gliscor again. Then, I used Skarmory, but the double electric weak killed. Then, I tried Steelix, and it worked decently, I ran EQ/Roar/SR/Explosion, but he felt weak, for some reason, so now I'm at Tangrowth, and it's been working decently. Leech Seed Support is good, as are Knock Off and Stun Spore.
Gyarados counter, but without it, if gyarados can get one DD and has taunt, I fall hard.
Main Strategy: This team focuses around Vaporeon and Jolteon. Vaporeon is a solid wall on both sides, stalls with toxic/protect, scouts with protect, and is difficult to take down. Jolteon takes T-bolts from Vaporeon, Subs on the switch, and passes to another if necessary. Gengar acts as hypnosis and to eliminate blisseys and co. for jolteon or infernape to sweep.
There's my current team.
Main problems (that I see)
T-tar: Again, with DD, I could be swept. CB Gross with bullet punch could answer that, but I really like the weavile. But if suggested, I'll switch it out.
Sleep: I have no Sleep absorption. A lot of the recent shoddy teams have lead with Yanmega, Crobat, or Gengar, which usually carry Hypnosis. A physical wall sleeptalker could fit with my team nicely.
Status in general: Paralysis kills. No aromatherapy on this team, do I need it?
Should I use Bulkier sweepers? Infernape and Weavile die way too fast.
I'm sure I have other troubles, I'll edit this as they come to mind.
