First RMT "Surprise" [OU]

Hello

The name of this team comes from the fact that I try to make people think that I have certain pokemon that it isnt....
For example my snorlax which i think most people expect it to be a curselax but isn't, and the team is very offensive, there's no little control like Roar,Stealth Rock,Nasty Plot and the like, but then again I don't really have all that much experience in competitive so I'd like help from yall to make me better...

Well here's the team at glance:

The Team Lead:
482azelf.png

Azelf @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Levitate
Nature: Adamant
EVs: 4HP/ 252 Atk/ 252 Spe
U-Turn
Explosion
Zen Headbutt
Ice Punch
Normal non stealth rocker/trick Azelf, have this moveset so i can counter other leads like Ice punch for a dragon lead such as Flygon and the like, Zen for other pokemon like Infernape and U-turn for other azelf and weavile and finally explosion is for when azelf is at low health

477dusknoirshiny.png

Dusknoir @ Leftovers
Ability: Pressure
Nature: Adamant
EVs: 252 HP/ 28 Atk/ 228 Def
Will-O-Wisp
Fire Punch
Pain Split
Thunder Punch
I know he should be impish natured but when I hatched the shiny and it was Adamant I said what the hell Ill ev it like a tank...well as for the moveset on this guy is to use Will-o-Wisp to wear down tanks and cut the power of physical pokes, Fire and Thunder Punch are for the pokes like Metagross,Lucario,Skarmory and Togekiss, finally Pain Split is to have some sort of healing and wear down big hps like blissey.
I used to have Gengar but switched him to Dusknoir thinking i need a sort of physical tank

143snorlaxm.png

Snorlax @ Chesto Berry
Ability: Thick Fat
Nature: Adamant
EVs: 252 HP/ 252 Atk/ 6 Def
Return
Crunch
Fire Punch
Rest
My personal favorite pokemon, looking at him just makes me want to hug him, ok, he is the teams physical sweeper and the moveset allows him to face off pokes like blissey and skarmory, i taught him Crunch so when a ghost pokemon tries to wall him gets a surprise and finally Id love to sleep with a Snorlax all day long so i gave him Rest to replentish his health and having a chesto berry makes him ready for the action

473mamoswine.png

Mamoswine @ Choice Band
Ability: Snow Cloak
Nature: Adamant
EVs: 252 Atk/ I forgot the others >.< i breed him quite a while ago(April 8 2008) but most likely are on the speed stat
Ice Shard
Rock Slide
Earthquake
Ice Fang (thinking of droping it for Superpower)
Back in the day I breed him for one and only purpose to destroy the greatest threat ive seen, Garchomp, but now i keep him as a good dragon killers and extra physical sweeper just in case, not to mention hes a good thunder eater

392infernape.png

Infernape @ Expert Belt (thinking of switching to Life Orb)

Infernape @ Expert Belt (thinking of switching to Life Orb)
Ability: Blaze
Nature: Rash
EVs: 6 Def/ 252 SpA/ 252 Spe
Close Combat
Mach Punch
Overheat
Stone Edge
My mix sweeper can do decent damage in physical aswell as in Special, moveset hmm...mach punch is for low hp pokes and i chose Overheat for its power and accuracy and finally stone edge is for flyers that wants to bully him

121starmie.png

Starmie @ Life Orb
Ability: Natural Cure
Nature: Modest
EVs: 6 Def/ 252 SpA/ 252 Spe
Grass Knot
Psychic
Ice Beam
Surf
My special sweeper she has a all around set of moves to fend off tyranitars and the like, grass knot is to trick the opponent into thinking that i have thunderbolt and usually swiches in a swamper

Looks like a good team, i'm not a hugely experienced rater, but I see a nice fat SD lucario weakness. Im going to suggest replacing dusknoir with gliscor for three reasons.

1. It meshes well with snorlax due to his fighting resist and ice weak, snorlax of course resists ice thanks to thick fat, and is weak to fighting.

2. You lack stealth rock, and gliscor provides it.

3. It counter sd luke and heracross nicely.

This is the set I recommend

Gliscor@leftovers
{impish}
evs : 252 hp / 252 def / 4 atk
- earthquake
- Aerial ace / ice fang / knock off
- stealth rock
- roost

Super bulky, provides support, and counters threats. The second slot is for secondary STAB that hits heracross for an ohko, ice fang is good coverage, but less useful thanks to garchomps uberness, and knock is for support.

I don't really like Gliscor in this team since it slows the pace of the team down quite a bit and Lucario can't really set up on much anyway, excpet possibly Mamoswine.

First off, remove Choice Scarf from Azelf and make it the standard SR lead Azelf so you can get an aggresive start from the beginning. I don't like Dusknoir for the same reason I didn't like Gliscor (it's too slow). Sub Gengar could be a good idea with possibly Shadow Ball/ Focus Blast/ Substitute/ Explosion @ LifeOrb (I'd prefer Life Orb for the extra kick and that Gengar is pretty frail anyway but if you don't like it, pick somethign else. Normal LO Gengar could work as well I guess) since it gives some nice resistances while opening the way for a Starmie sweep by booming on special walls such as Blissey.

Now, I'd also generally prefer LO on Mamoswine so you can't be set upon while locked into a choiced attack since this team is pretty frail. Jolly is also an option over adamant on Mamoswine to outspeed most Swords Dance Lucario.

You could also use a Timid nature to outspeed Infernape among other thigns along with T-Bolt over Grass Knot since it has great coverage with Ice Beam.

I think I've been a little vague here, so feel free to ask me to elaborate on some things. The lack of a steel type worries me abit though (Dragon attacks could really, really hurt since nothign resists them) so a lead Metagross over your Azelf could be an alternative since it can take Dragon attacks fairly well while still being fairly aggressive.

Hopefully I've helped, just test the changes and see what works for you =)
