First RMT, Thunder Chaos(OU)

Hello, this is my first RMT here so I might make some mistakes. This Team is based around Jolteon. His Team Members Support him by setting up SR and taking out ground types.

Team:

Swamper (Swampert)(M)@ Leftovers
Ability: Torrent
EV: 200 HP / 228 Def / 80 SpA
Nature: Relaxed
Stealth Rock
Earthquake
Ice Beam
Surf

He is here because it is a good partner with Jolteon and helps him greatly by putting up SR. He can easily put up SR and the only one who has SR in my team so he is very important. Also what is so good about him is that he can block Physical to Special Attacks so his a good wall. There is really nothing to say much more because mostly everyone knows how Swampert works right?

Iron Bird (Skarmory)(M)@ Shed Shell
Ability: Keen Eye
EV: 252 HP / 64 Atk / 176 Def / 16 Spe
Nature: Impish
Taunt
Spikes
Roost
Brave Bird

Well this is the standard set from Smogon. His mostly used for Defense purposes rather than spikes since I already have SR. He also annoys the opponent with whirlwind which is fun to use when you have SR and Spikes. Also if he is in trouble and low on hp, Swampert can come take Fire and Electric Hits for Skarmory. EDIT: I change Skarmory to the Taunt version.

Gyara (Gyarados)(M)@ Leftovers
Ability: Intimidate
EV: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Nature: Adamant
Dragon Dance
Waterfall
Ice Fang
Earthquake

Physical Sweeper Gyarados. He is named after Red's Gyara from the Manga. He mostly takes out ground types that stops Jolteon from sweeping. Leftovers was used because I only have 1 Life Orb and used it on Infernape. He is meant to do critical damage to the opponent and take out ground types then switch to Jolteon for sweeping.

Fat Poke (Blissey)(F)@ Leftovers
Ability: Natural Cure
EV: 252 Def / 80 SpA / 176 SpD
Nature: Calm
Wish
Protect
Flamethrower
Toxic

#1 special wall in the game. This is the WishBliss set from smogon. She absorbs all special attacks and heal my sweepers with Wish. She also can poison pokes with toxic. Infernape and other fighting types, Blissey's Weaknesses are mostly taken care of by Gyarados or Swampert. Again, There is really nothing to say much more because mostly everyone knows how Blissey works right?

Inferno (Infernape)(M)@ Expert Belt
Ability: Blaze
EV: 64 Atk / 252 SpA / 192 Spe
Nature: Naive
Nasty Plot
Fire Blast
Close Combat
Grass Knot

The standard set for MixApes. His role is simple, Nasty Plot as fast as possible then sweep. I try to get him out as fast as possible for sweeping the opponent. He can take out large amount of walls like Blissey and Swampert. He is one of my fav poke and is one of my main sweeper.

Volteon (Jolteon)(M)@ Life Orb
Ability: Volt Absorb
EV: 4 Def/ 252 SpAtk/ 252 Spe
Nature: Timid
Thunderbolt
Shadow Ball
Hidden Power Grass
Charge Beam

My fav Eveelution and Star of the Team. He mostly plays the role of a revenge killer because he is fast and can take out poke with low HP. Signal Beam was used since I don't know how Hidden Power works. Baton Pass is when Jolteon is in low HP or trouble can get out of there and send a counter in. He also helps absorb Electric Attacks for Gyarados. EDIT I finally figured out how to do Hidden Power Attacks so I changed this to the LO version

SO this is my team. Please give suggestions and improvments that will make this team better and happy rating!

Ok its kinda late so this rate might be quick and messy. Anyways welcome to smogon and I like the idea of your team sofar. The focus on this team is to enable a Jolteon sweep. So why limit yourself to only one move? Run LO over specs to give you the ability to pick your moves more freely. Also I suggest running HPGrass over Batonpass to make sure you dont get walled by swampert.
Im looking at your team and im telling you that Gyarados needs taunt. Skamory and Celebi will force you to switch every time and you will eat 25% every switch in making in harder for Gyara to sweep. Also Blissey can come and and status him while surviving a +1 waterfall.
Also a small nippick, run Fireblast on ape the power is greatly needed to make the OH and 2HKOs.

Sorry this rate kinda sucked but like I said its really late and im tired

On a Joltean based team like this one I would go with the faster taunt Skarmory as it helps loads against stall and almost guarentees three layers go up. I also see you are using a MixApe presumably to break through stall, the only problem is that now stall teams carry latias and/or rest-talk gyra which stop infernape cold. Therefore with taunt skarmory getting up spikes for you I would go with Rotom-H in the place of infernape as this will stop your spikes from being spun away allowing for a much easier jolteon sweep because jolteon LOVES spikes. Rotom-H will also allow you to take on pokemon you would have been switching to skarmory for such as Scizor if Skarmory is running the less defensive taunt set. You can go with the standard defensive Rotom-h or what I would do is go with Rest Talk Rotom. This is much better at sticking around ensuring forretress never gets to spin your spikes away and also makes this a sort of semi stall team which is what you were probably aiming for in the first place with Skarmory and Blissey. This change will really give you an aim or strategy in battle which is really important especially against stall. Hope that helps!

Thanks but the problem is that I don't have the Secret Key since I bought Platinum really late and I will change Skarmory to Taunt version and change flamethrower to fire blast

Jolteon is better when it is not locked into a single move.

Jolteon @ Life Orb
4 HP / 252 Spe / 252 SpA
Timid nature (+Spe, -Atk)
-Charge Beam
-Thunderbolt
-Hidden Power Grass
-Shadow Ball

Teams have a much harder time playing around this since they cannot simply switch to a resistant Pokemon.

Nice short descriptions. I think a little more detail is needed. Also, ignore the above poster. He's a failed troll.

On Blissey, I suggest having Calm Nature with 252 DEF, 252 SPD and 6 HP EV's. I also find that using Seismic Toss over Flamethrower helps more in dealing set amounts of damage. However, if you don't want Seismic Toss, then I suggest using Ice Beam over it to get a nice KO on Dragons who switch in and try to set up.

I actually believe that Expert Belt on Infernape is a much better item to use here. Why? To extend Infernape's ability to ramapage through the team.

If Jolteon is what the entire team is based on, then Specs isn't the best idea. I suggest Expert Belt or Life Orb. Also, I suggest changing Baton Pass for Hidden Power Ice.
