First RMT, UU leisure play.

Hey Smogon, this is my first RMT, so I could use some help and as always Constructive Critism.

My Team in Detail:

dpmfb254.png

Info: Jolly (+Spe, -Spc.A) ; OverGrow @ Leftovers
EVs: 56 Spc.D/200 Def/252 Spe
- Substitute
- Leech Seed
- Hidden Power Fire
- Grass Knot

My lead, this guy can probably lead and SubSeed into anything. I prefer this over Shaymin as it is a not so predictable lead and can probably lure out the weak Fire types for my Hitmonlee to come in and kill. The Evs are spread for bulkiness I opted for the 56 Spc.D over the 56 Hp as I did some calculations and it proved that the Spc.D will help in more ways than the HP will.

Standar Sub Seed, but used as lead instead. First turn of the match I will generally Seed out the opponents lead as Sceptile should easily outrun most of the common UU Leads. Even if they switch they still will be Seeded and I can Sub while I see what they are planing to do. Hidden Power Fire is to do some damage against other Sub Seeders or Grass/Steal Leads and Grass Knot is just to provide backup firepower for Sceptile while its SubSeeding.

Info: Impish (+Def, -Spc.A) ; Leviate @ Leftovers
EVs: 252 HP/ 252 Def/ 4 Spc.D
- Stealth Rock
- U-turn
- Yawn
- Psychic

A formidable UU wall must I say. He has won and lost matches for me but nevertheless a good addition to my team. I usually switch this guy in if the opponent has a Physical Attacker on the loose, Uxie should be able to stop him or atleast cause a switch. Uxie can also be switched into Psychic users like Hypno to stop its stalling, a Yawned U-turn will certainly take Hypno down to 20% HP or atleast cause a switch. Stealth Rock is there for support while U-turn is simply used for a switch that does a bit of damage. Yawn is used to make the opponent Switch while I can switch to either Espeon or Absol to setup and Psychic is used for a bit of stab boosted power if its in a tough spot or against something like a Blaziken.

dpmfb196.png

Info: Timid (+Spe, -Atk) ; Synchronize @ Leftovers
EVs: 252 Spe/ 252 Spc.A/ 252 Spc.D
- Calm Mind
- Signal Beam
- Hidden Power Fighting
- Psychic

My Special Sweeper, Espeon has the top Spc.A stat in all of the UU pokemon and if has 1 or 2 Calm Minds against a Balanced team can sweep almost everything. It is able to take a KO alot of different UU mons with its Stab boosted Psychic. Signal Beam is there for the support against Pokemon like Gardevoir, Mespirit, Uxie, Mismagius and Sceptile. While Hidden Power Fighting will give me coverage against Ambipom, Absol and Porygon2.

I usually switch this guy in after Uxie sucessfully Yawns a Pokemon that should not have a Ghost/Dark attack, letting Espeon come in safely and attempt to setup while the opponents Pokemon makes a last attempt to attack it and take some damage off or switch. But by then Espeon will already have 1 Calm Mind up and depending on the Situation, should have another one by the next turn.

Info: Jolly (+Spe, -Spc.A) ; Limber @ Choice Scarf
EVs: 252 Atk/ 252 Spe/ 4 Spc.D
- Close Combat
- Blaze Kick
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge

Just by looking at the moveset you should see that Hitmonlee is not something you would want to mess with, previously I used Hitmonchan as my "revenge" killer. But this guy is so much more powerful. Its move coverage will take down alot of Pokemon if the opponent is not careful. His Speed stat and Choice Scarf will let it outrun any Pokemon that comes in. I usually bring him in if something like Crobat, Swellow or Charizard comes in. The opponents will be guessing if I have Scarf, Band or Life Orb, while they guess and try to setup I will be into my assault. Close Combat is for Absol, Ambipom ect. While Blaze Kick will take down the grass types. Earthquake for coverage of rock, electric and sometimes Pyschic types and Stone Edge for the annoying flying types.

My stratergy for this guy is pretty much use it as a revenge killer without the option of trapping, sometimes that doesn't work quite well and the opponents switch but Hitmonlee is still able to get a good hit on the Pokemon that switches in.

dpmfb359.png

Info: Adamant (+Atk, -Spc.A) ; Super Luck @ Life Orb
EVs: 252 Atk/ 6 Def/ 252 Spe
- Swords Dance
- Night Slash
- Sucker Punch
- Super Power

This will come in as my late game sweeper. With a Swords Dance set up this guy is pretty much unstoppable. While the opponents try to guess if I will Sucker Punch or not my first move will pretty much always to Swords Dance up. After that it doesn't really matter if the opponent attacks me or tries to setup, after all Sucker Punch with STAB, Atk+2/4 and Life Orb will pwn the other Pokemons arse and continue to sweep its whole team. One threat of this set is Substitute, it could cause some troubles it the opponent gets a sub up against this fella.

dpmfb101.png

Info: Hasty (+Spe, -Def) ; Soundproof @ Life Orb
EVs: 120 Atk/ 228 Spe/ 162 Spc.A
- Explosion
- Hidden Power Grass
- Taunt
- Thunderbolt

Yeah, TRODE GOES BOOOOM. This guy is VERY useful to me as it is pretty much the only Pokemon that can provide a Taunt for my team, if my Sweepers and Uxie is down in Late Game and they are setting up the taunt can come in very handy. A taunt will cause them to attack which can provide me with an option to Boom on their arse or switch out to Absol my Late Game Sweeper. Thunderbolt will provide coverage over Water types so I don't need to go Boom and Hidden Power Grass is coverage against those annoying Rock and Ground types, even thought it might not survive an EQ if it does then Trode will go Boom and hopefully take them out.

Yeah thats pretty much my team, thanks for reading :].

Not sure about leading with Sceptile, Crobat is a very popular lead right now and he instantly threatens to outrun Sceptile and KO it before it can do anything.

Other than Uxie, who can't threaten much of anything outside of using Yawn, your team looks very frail and seems as if you will have difficulty switching most of them in.

If the opponent leads with Crobat I usually just switch out to Electrode while it Brave Birds my Trode, it takes a chunk out of Trode and gets hit with some recoil, my Trode can now do what it like, either T-bolt it or Taunt, but most probably if the Bat sees the Trode it will switch, giving me a turn to figure out what I would want to do next.

And about frail-ness, what do you mean by frail? Lol. Please Elaborate.

What he means is that you only have one wall, and your sweepers are fragile. Absol and electrode are fragile, and you dont want to be taking many hits with hitmonlee or espeon. However Uxie is pretty damn tough however you should get one more wall. Also some of your natures are stuffed up. Sceptile should be timid, are you numb when you write -SpA and dont realise that you only have SpA moves. Lol, same with uxie, U-turn is not supposed to be dealing damage, but rather give you a free switch in, so Bold > Impish.

Also, espeon and hitmonlee have 252 EVs in 3 stats..

Here are the base defense stats of your non-Uxie team members:

Sceptile: 70/65/85
Espeon: 65/60/95
Hitmonlee: 50/53/110
Absol: 65/60/60
Electrode: 60/70/80

I suppose you could take a few special attacks, but you have absolutely no physical defenses at all there. The most physically bulky Pokemon on that list is Sceptile at 70/65, which speaks for itself. Also, you list your Hitmonlee's and Espeon's EVs as 252/252/252.

OShi- lol its 4 Spc.D

And oh, I see. I might see if I can fit in some more Bulky Spreads or generally bulky Pokemon.

I'm surprised no one noticed your massive Yanmega weakness, after a single speed boost that thing can outspeed and OHKO on every member of your team with bug buzz and air slash.
I really suggest you to use a counter for it, Registeel has always worked fine for me. So:

Registeel@leftovers
nature: careful
EVs: 252 hp\ 80 atk\ 176 sp.def
- thunder wave
- stealth rock (if you use it in place of Uxie)\ ice punch
- iron head
- explosion

I'd probably replace Uxie or Electrode. Registeel would also help with Crobat and Shaymin, which seem both troublesome for your team (Electrode really lacks the defences to switch repeatedly into brave bird while you can only revenge kill Shaymin).

Oh, and correct the nature on Sceptile, you want timid when using special attacks.

Hope this helped.
