First team, need it rated (OU)

So im a bit new to this whole battling thing. I decided I want to get into competitive battling so I made this team.

:justin:
Aerodactyl @ Focus Sash
Jolly Nature
Ability: Pressure
252 Attack | 252 Speed | 4 HP
-Stealth Rock
-Taunt
-Earthquake
-Stone Edge
---
Standard lead Aero. I use it to set up rocks, which helps me break sasheds and damage other things weak to it.

:jump:
Infernape @ Choice Band
Jolly Nature
Ability: Blaze
252 Attack | 252 Speed | 4 HP
-Flare Blitz
-Close Combat
-Thunderpunch
-U Turn
---
This thing is an absolute beast. Even things that resist its attacks take a beating. I use it to help scout the opponents team

:doom:
Salamence @ Life Orb
Jolly Nature
Ability: Intimidate
252 Attack | 252 Speed | 4 HP
-Dragon Dance
-Earthquake
-Outrage | Dragon Claw
-Fire Fang
---
Now you may be wondering, why the hell is he using a jolly Mence? Well, lets look at it. May speed lets me outrun popularthreats/counters after a single DD. Plus, its an unexpected Surprise

:chaos:
Scizor @ Expert Belt | Life Orb | Muscle Band
Adamant Nature
Ability: Technician
252 Attack | 252 Speed | 4 HP
-Bullet Punch
-U Turn
-Swords Dance
-Brick Break
---
All around badass here. Very useful revenge killer for the likes of salamence, weavile etc. U-Turn lets me lol at magnezone who likes to murder steel types, and the other moves are obvious.

:cloud:
Heatran @ Choice Scarf
Niave Nature
Ability: Flash Fire
252 Special Attack | 252 Speed | 4 HP
-Fire Blast
-Explosion
-Earth Power
-Hidden Power Ice
---
Heaty loves taking fire attacks at scizor. Ive swept so many teams like that, its not even fun doing it anymore. But a win is a win, no?

:naughty:
Latias @ Life Orb
Timid Nature
Ability: Levitate
200 Special Attack | 252 Speed | 56 Special Defense
-Calm Mind
-Dragon Pulse
-Surf
-Thunderbolt
---
Experimenting, really. I needed something bulky on the special side that can actually cause Damage.

All Around Your Team looks great, I like the Idea of a Jolly Salamence since many people usually choose Power over speed. I would suggest you replace Fire Fang with Fire Blast and run a Hasty/Naive Nature instead. Fireblast can cause a lot more damage to the likes of Skarmory who can whirlwind your Dragon Dances Away and Salamence cant afford to keep switching into Stealth rock(assuming its up). You should also consider replaing infernape with a mixed set because you seem to have several physical attackers already, it can be an awesome wall breaker to give your other pokemon a better chance of sweeping.

Looks like the standard DP team. The most noticeable thing off the bat is your weakness to Dragon Dance Salamence, but even worse your weakness to Dragon Dance Gyarados. With Salamence, you can at least Bullet Punch if with Scizor after some residual damage from Life Orb. With Gyarados, however, it gets off a Dragon Dance, outspeeds everything on your team, and proceeds to KO most of it (Heatran may outspeed and you must resort to Exploding, in which case Scizor gives you lots of problems).

For the Gyarados problem, I suggest Scarfing Latias to give you a very potent revenge killer. Replace Calm Mind for Draco Meteor, and you're all set. Should check a lot of problematic stat-uppers for you. Don't worry about using two Scarf users, both provide solid resistances to this team. If you prefer, you can change Heatran to a Life Orb variant to dish out more damage, while maintaining the ability to check Scizor. Consider a Life Orb set with Substitute / Fire Blast / Earth Power / HP Grass to hit the majority of the metagame hard.

Minor point, but I prefer Roost on Swords Dance Scizor to increase survivability and the potential of a sweep. Brick Break looks like the most useless move, so I'd replace that. U-turn is an excellent scouting move with or without Choice Band, so I always recommend keeping it. After enough Swords Dances (at +6), Scizor beats Skarmory anyway, so not much need for it (and its quite easy for Scizor to set up on stall teams, even hitting Gyarados for heavy damage). Also, drop Expert Belt. Its quite useless when you're using only a Steel and Bug attack. Leftovers or Life Orb are much better items on this particular Scizor.

Since I recommended Scarfing Latias, it leaves you more succeptible to Tyranitar's Pursuit. To help use this weakness to your advantage, I suggest replacing Infernape for Swords Dance Lucario. If Tyranitar does Pursuit Latias after it revenge-kills something, you get a free Swords Dance for Lucario, increasing your offenses and potential for a sweep. The weakness actually benefits Lucario and an offensive team such as this. The standard set with Life Orb will suffice for this team.

Good luck, hope I helped.
