"I have no games to play"

upstairs flat keep putting non-recyclables into the recycling bin.

Fun(?) fact, the UK produces ~5 million metric tons of plastic waste a year, of which ~45% is sent for recycling. Some of this is recycled profitably, while some gets incinerated/landfilled anyway because it's low value plastic. About 25% can't be recycled profitably here, so we ship our first world problem abroad. The plastic recycling market doesn't work and has never worked, but it exists to make people believe that plastic consumption is sustainable.

I think in a thread about changing kitty litter and locking bins this definitely counts as a fun fact

i just bought a pack of cookies from a vending machine, but instead of being one of those vending machines that gently lowers your food down it just dropped my cookies from like 6.5 feet in the air (roughly 2 meters). it made a really loud thunk sound when it hit the bottom and rattled the whole vending machine. also my cookies got completely obliterated.

i've recently added the "then feel guilty about not playing them" step to the process
