Fly Eagles Fly V2

Fly Eagles Fly on the Road to Victory

So trying to get back into the Meta-Game but, I just can’t seem to get the Hang of it down again after being out for so long. Just waiting for the Apprentice/Tutor thing to open up and Ill try to get in. But for now trying this team and, it been having some success and some downfalls. So here goes nothing.

Metagross.jpg

Metagross @ Lum Berry
Ability: Clear Body
EVs: 240 Hp/236 Atk/14 Def/20 Spe
Adamant
-Stealth Rocks
-Bullet Punch
-Meteor Mash
-Explosion
-------
This is one of the best bulky leads ever designed, capable of beating almost every other lead with its combination of attacks. Stealth Rock is a must have, and Metagross often finds a free turn to set them up. . Bullet Punch is a priority move that will ruin sashes of suicude leads like Infernape and Azelf. MM For Stab.

heatran.png

Heatran @ Choice Scarf
Timid - 252SpAtk, 252Spe, 6HP
~ Fire Blast/Over Heat
~ Earth Power
~ Hidden Power Grass
~ Dragon Pulse
---------
Heatran, Cover up my fire weakness that i had with magnezone. It also help with the Fire Attack aimed at Gross and Scizor. Choice Spec for the sheer Power Reach 529 Sp.A or something like that.
Fire Blast For stab but might switch that to Overheat because of the ACC. Earth Power Offer good coverage for to take out opposing Heatrans, Dragon Pulse to Deal with those Pesky Dragon who try and Get in the way. HP Grass to Deal with Bulky Waters.

scizor.png

Scizor @ Choice Band
Ability – Technician
EVs: 248 Hp / 252 Atk / 4 Spe / 4 SP.D
Adamant
-U-turn
-Bullet Punch
-Super Power
-Pursuit
--------
EVs will suffice to outrun min base 65s and you will really appreciate being slower than opposing Scizor. Why? Well, if both of you Superpower you will ohko most of the time due to the faster Scizor's Def drop. If both U-Turn, you can choose last which pokemon to send out, so you will maintain the momentum.

starmie.png

Starmie @ Choice Spec
Ability: Natural Cure
Modest
EVs: 252 Sp.A/252 Spe/6 Hp
-Surf
-Thunderbolt
-Trick
-Rapid Spin
-----------
The star of the team! Starmie! With its fast speed, it can hit before most things. Also, this may be a personal preference, but I feel like Hydro Pump is way more effective on Starmie than Surf. Also, grass knot isn't really necessary, as Hydro Pump can 2HKO Swampert.

gengar.png

Gengar@Life Orb
Timid-252Spe, 252SpAtk, 4Def
-Shadow Ball
-Focus Blast
-Substitute
-PainSplit
----------
From behind a sub this Gengar beats Blissey and Snorlax with Pain Split. Also it ohkoes Tyranitar with Focus Blast. Basically once Scizor is out of the way there is not much that can stop this Gengar's sweep.

Pikachu_riding_the_Dragonite.jpg

Dragonite @ Life Orb
Ability: Inner Focus
EVs: 252 Atk/184 Spe/74 Hp
Adamant
-Dragon Dance
-Outrage/Dragon Claw
-Extreme Speed
-Earthquake

So BulkyNite Just want cutting it. So I looked around the web to find a good set and came across this set. This set Let Dragonite come out from being Salamence Bitch all this Time. With the Gaining Of Extreme Speed this let Dragonite come in and Take out already Weakened Pokes. Now with the Banning of Latias we might see a Rise in Ice Shard Usage Since it takes out Almost all the Dragon Stuck On Outrage. So, for me it a personal choice for me. Outrage or Dragon Claw for Stab, Extreme Speed for Priority, And EQ For those Pesky Steel Types

-------------------

Former Members

Tyranitar.png

Tyranitar @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 252 Spe / 136 Atk / 120 SP.A
Hasty
-Fire Blast
-Ice Beam
-Crunch
-Stone Edge
---------
The idea of this set is to counter threats, and so a wider and more diverse moveset is needed. Fire Blast enables Tyranitar to 1HKO, or deal serious damage to Scizor, Forretress, Celebi, Skarmory and Abomasnow, whilst, Ice Beam allows 1HKOs on Salamence, Donphan, Gliscor, Breloom, and a 2HKO on Hippowdown.

mismagius.gif

Mismagius @ Salac Berry/Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
Timid
EVs: 108 HP / 148 SpA / 252 Spe
-Substitute
-Nasty Plot
-Shadowball
-Energy Ball/HP Fighting
----------
Mismagius got one of the most significant move gains in HG/SS, Nasty Plot. With Nasty Plot, Mismagius can now burst through old coutners with newfound power. Where Calm Mind Mismagius had troubles getting strong enough fast enough, Nasty Plot Mismagius has no such problem. You do have a number of choices to make however. If you forgo Substitute for an all out attacking set, you will lose to any user of the move Sucker Punch, as well as you your ability to set up in front of Blissey and other Pokemon with Seismic Toss as their sole attacking move.

magnezone.png

Magnezone@Leftovers
Naive - 252SpAtk, 216Spe, 40HP
-Thunderbolt
-Explosion
-Substitute
-HP Ice
---------
Replaced this with T-Tar, who couldn’t touch Scizor when he comes in. Magnezone, in that slot. It will greatly help Gengar and Dragonite sweep as it removes those pesky steel types for them.

Changes In Bold

reccomdending ice beam over earthquake on dnite. With magnezone eliminatung steels, you don't need earthquake. Light screen lets you setup on weak ice beams thanks to roost lowering it to a 2x weak. Ddance, roost, ddance, rootst, repeat.

Ice Beam on D-Nite is not good IMO It either Fire Punch or EQ and EQ Seem to be doin the job ATM

68.6% - 81% Is Weavile against Dragonite without using LO or CB (Ice Shard)
96.6% - 115.3% Weavile WITH LO or CB (Ice Shard)
106% - 125.7% Mamoswine with CB (Ice Shard)
79% - 93.5% Lead Mamoswine (Ice Shard)

All of these except Anti Lead Weavile will OHKO Dragonite with Stealth Rocks (Weavile still has a chance). Ice Shard eliminates any speed Dragonite has and potentially forces a switch meaning next time it switches in it will be at 50% unless SR is spun earlier. These will also force Dragonite out if you don't wanna be OHKO'd and can switch in on EQ if they know it is coming. Fighting would help as it would get Heatran (As even though Magnezone traps him, you generally switch him out on Heatran), it would also hit Weavile and Mamoswine, any other Steels, and is resisted by only Psychic and Ghost and killing Ghosts via Outrage helps out Gengar. Psychics are weak to ghost and I doubt they could take out Dragonite or take an Outrage. Might I suggest Dragon Claw as well? Revenge killing Dragonite with Weavile or Mamo is easy and since Weavile packs Night Slash and outspeeds Gengar almost 100% of the time, leaving your Steels as the only guard for it as Starmie definitely can't take a night slash and since it doesn't run Scarf it can't outspeed. All three of your steels are weak to Fire and 2 to ground very common attack types so be careful. Also Dragonite WILL die to Pursuit if you do/don't switch him out after Ice Shard on the AntiLead weavile.

All in all patch up your weakness to Weavile and some of the others I mentioned and you should run a bit better.

Fire is not a common move most of the time youll only see that heatran is there common source for a fire attack. Im pretty good at predicting the Fire Attack so It not really a problem for me. I havent seen to many weavile recently so even if weavile does come in a ice shard, just go to Scizor and BP and Bye Bye Weavile

Ya but the idea is, it forces Dragonite out. Plus if Weavile revenges an Outrage locked Dragonite, then you are out one sweeper. This might be a reason for Dragon Claw over Outrage, but just saying. Also Mamoswine and Weavile aren't too common but they aren't uncommon either, both being in top 40 usage in lasts month statistics with 5.69% on Weavile and 4.93% on Mamoswine meaning their uses aren't too low. And with Latias, being one of the counters to Salamence, is now Uber meaning Weavile and Mamoswine might have increases in usage.

Ok ill try that Dragon Claw out on D-Nite but I Like Outrage for the Sheer Power

hi.

replace dpulse on heatran with explosion as you arent outspeeding any dragons with heatran's speed. if you decide to take my advice, go for a naive nature. bulkyddnite is outclassed imo by bulkyddmence. higher initial speed and intimidate does wonders. watch out for scarftars though. 2 of your key players are weak to it.. :)

good luck.
