Vanguard (Forretress) @ Leftovers
Ability: Sturdy
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Def
Impish Nature
- Spikes
- Toxic Spikes
- Stealth Rock
- Explosion

Forretress is my lead of the team (unless i see a heavy fire type disadvantage them garchomp is first.) Also it resits a lot so i can use it for switch ins if i have to. My stealth rocks always go out first followed by spikes but my toxic spikes are not necessary. Forretress is not designed to be staying around the whole game, once hazards are up Forretress explodes.

BloodJaw (Garchomp) @ Dragonium Z
Ability: Sand Veil
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Poison Jab
- Outrage
- Swords Dance
- Earthquake

Garchomp is the physical sweeper on my team, I put dragonium Z just so i could obliterate almost any Pokemon over scarf which can lead to me having to swap. I try to get the other Pokemon to switch out so i can set up a free swords dance but garchomp is still reliable without it. Poison jab will KO most non-physical defense fairies, while earthquake is just a good stab option.

Meganeura (Yanmega) @ Life Orb
Ability: Speed Boost
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Modest Nature

- Air Slash
- Bug Buzz
- Protect
- Psychic

Yanmega can easily out speed anything after speed boost and is my special sweeper. I will always use protect first turn to get the boost as i don't want to be caught off guard by a scarfed mon. Air slash and bug buzz both have amazing coverage and psychic is there for poison types. I have no intent of switching into this thing because it usually gets one shotted, i will only bring him in when one of my other Mons faints.

Galvantula @ Focus Sash
Ability: Unnerve
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Bug Buzz
- Sticky Web
- Thunder
- Energy Ball

Galvantula is used second just after forretress goes down and sets up sticky web, but unlike forretress he isn't necessarily just going to kill him self after. with decent special attack and speed he can possibly KO a Pokemon to get the hazards working. But just like with forretress he is probably going down early in battle.

Valor (Staraptor) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Reckless
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Brave Bird
- Double-Edge
- Close Combat
- U-turn

Valor is key to starting the sweeping. He will hit like a truck with brave bird or close combat for rock types. Valor will out speed non scarfed talonflames and O-KO them. he will catch most by surprise and only dedicated physical tanks can stop him.

Terror (Aerodactyl-Mega) @ Aerodactylite
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Hone Claws
- Stone Edge
- Wing Attack
- Earthquake

Terror is my easy revenge killer. with base 150 speed and decent attack he can demolish hurt Pokemon. Being able to swap in on fire type Pokemon (which is a huge weakness to my team) is great. stone edge is very strong but unreliable at times while earthquake is a little weaker but more accurate.

Hi JaBird. A lot of the Pokemon on this team are unviable by current meta standards (Yanmega, Forretress, Galvantula). I won't be swapping out all three of them, as I feel a rater should maintain the charm and not deviate too far from the original team. I'll link you the viability rankings, though, so you can determine what Pokemon is good and what Pokemon aren't.

OVERVIEW

You have 3 Bug-types and 3 Flying-types with no hazard removal. This makes it very hard for this team to operate. Your only possible "switch-in" to Lele is Forretress, which isn't reliable whatsoever, as Specs Psychic does a ton and HP Fire will obliterate it. This is also considering that Forretress is also a Pokemon that you deem to be very disposable. Some Natures are suboptimal, i.e. Adamant Mega Aerodactyl + Adamant Staraptor. Hazard stacking teams prove to be very menacing due to the lack of hazard control. This team seems very hyper offensive—a Sticky Web team even— as well, so as I build, I'll try to accommodate for that. I'll address the weaknesses in this overview and many others that weren't mentioned in this rate; enjoy!

- Shuckle is an important asset to Sticky Webs teams, being the best setter of them. Its natural bulk coupled with Sturdy, Shuckle is able to run the Mental Herb; making a Taunt or Encore specifically wear off as a 1-time use. Smeargle and Galvantula, two lackluster Webs setters, lack this luxury. They rely on Focus Sash instead, making them easy to outspeed and Taunt. Shuckle can also Rock Tomb threats, slowing them down when it dies. This allows a teammate to come in immediately after and likely force a switch. With this, of course, will come with a later change of Galvantula.

[Dragon Claw > Outrage, Fire Fang > Poison Jab,

] - Dragon Claw is a lot more consistent for sweeping than Outrage, though it is still a viable option. Fire Fang targets Celesteela primarily, as well as other Fire- weak Pokemon like Scizor. Given that Poison Jab will be redundant coverage with the Groundiunium Z, it's taken off. Tectonic Rage does massive damage to (Magic Guard) Clefable, Ferrothorn, Tapu Fini, etc., OHKOing them all. This will help your Yanmega and your Staraptor put in work.

[Specs Tinted Lens] - Given that you have webs, I feel that running Speed Boost isn't the most necessary. It's still a potential option, and if you'd like to keep it, run Giga Drain > Psychic. But, Tinted Lens turns Yanmega into a massive nuke.
See: 252 SpA Choice Specs Tinted Lens Yanmega Bug Buzz vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Clefable: 220-260 (55.8 - 65.9%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
252 SpA Choice Specs Tinted Lens Yanmega Bug Buzz vs. 248 HP / 0 SpD Zapdos: 222-262 (57.9 - 68.4%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
252 SpA Choice Specs Tinted Lens Yanmega Bug Buzz vs. 252 HP / 24 SpD Landorus-Therian: 236-280 (61.7 - 73.2%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery

As these calcs show, a Tinted Lens STAB move does massive damage to its "resists." Of course, it's prone to Tapu Koko, Celesteela, opposing Mega Aerodactyl (albeit very rare) and more so it's no where near perfect. Use Yanmega as a wallbreaker for your sweepers and not as a sweeper itself. It'll also form a bit of a FlyingSpam core with Staraptor + Mega Pinsir (a later change).

- I'm going to suggest a Scarf Drill here. Scarfers aren't the most optimal on Webs builds, but it can catch opposing Scarfed Pokemon off guard. Its job on this team is to remove rocks while still firing off powerful EQs. The last slot can either be Rock Slide (Volc + Zard Y) or Toxic (Lando T, Hippo, etc.), but I'd rather opt for Rock Slide for this team.

398.png
[Choice Band, Jolly > Adamant] - All of the moves on this Staraptor can remain the same. Banded is Staraptor's main niche in this tier. While it practically kills itself with its recoil, it 2HKOs so much with its STABs. Its ability to wallbreak with a Flying-STAB works great in conjunction with your Specs Yanmega. Jolly lets Staraptor outpace Jolly Landorus and neutral natured base 100 speed Pokemon.

- On Webs, Mega Pinsir benefits way more than Aerodactyl. Aero already has a massive speed stat, so it doesn't abuse the speed drops that well. Pinsir-Mega, under webs, outspeeds Tapu Koko, Greninja, Mega Alakazam, and many others that would naturally outspeed. I'm going to suggest CC as well, as it OHKOs Tyranitar— a feat that Earthquake doesn't meet.

OTHER OPTIONS

As I said, I'm not trying to change this team that much to keep it yours. However, to improve the overall viability of this team, I'd like to suggest potential Pokemon that work better on Webs than Yanmega.

- All solid set up sweepers. Mimikyu blocks Rapid Spin. Bisharp punishes Defoggers such as Scarf Latios. Manaphy outspeeds a ton after webs, allowing it to sweep with extreme ease late- and mid-game, especially with Staraptor's ability to wallbreak things like Chansey or Unaware Clef.
