Not really sure where else to post this. Does anyone know of a Pokemon RPG forum/play-by-post that uses Showdown (or similar) for battles (trainer and gym battles)?

ASB is a different battling style, its forum-based battling and doesn't do battles on Showdown like he is looking for.

The only thing I can think of that is similar is the walkthrough tournaments whenever a new pokemon game comes out (check the tournament forum). This is the finals thread from the XY Walkthrough tournament, as an example. I'm sure this is not what you're looking for, but I thought you might be interested for whenever the next game comes out.

Note that I was using a lot of underlying sarcasm in my post. Back when it originally came out it was wayyyyy better. It's been rather watered down iirc which is the reason I left.

If you have an idea for a game to be played, you can create the game and tell one of the mods about it so that they can approve the game (we can also help you iron out some kinks in the game design).

If you're looking for someone to help you design/create a game, there is a thread for that.

If you're asking whether we currently play a specific game, we probably don't yet (we have played mafia and similar games pretty exclusively here).
