Frantic Fusions is suspecting 2 Ability Clause!

On the most recent survey, 2 Ability Clause scored the highest percentage of the demand of a suspect test; as such, the council has decided to suspect it and leave the choice of either unrestricted or restricted amounts of abilities in the communities' hands.

The unrestricted amount of abilities in Frantic Fusions has been the main reason of controversy for as long as the tier existed, with the ability to run an unlimited amount of Regenerator pivots, offensive ability breakers, and other saturation of abilities that could make games either mind-numbingly long, or way too short; both of these can leave the game out of the players hands and cause issues in both the builder and in play. Incentivizing either strong offense or defense spamming has put the tier at a stalemate, and, as stated before, the unrestricted amount of abilities can be to blame.

With an unrestricted amount of abilities, however, it's possible to deduce the often streamlined gameplans of playstyles such as stall or hyper offense that spam a certain amount of abilities for their success to be possible. Hazard stack is a good way of beating both playstyles, along with pivot spamming and general outplays when it comes to sequences that can be repetitive, in the case of facing more defensively inclined teams. The predictiveness of common threats such as Great Tusk + Klawf / Hydrapple and Goodra-Hisui + Slowbro can also be favored towards those who can tech and prepare for their standardized uses, and as such, promoting creative building.

Both sides of the coin have their reasons, but now it's up to the community to decide whether or not it's time to introduce an ability restriction in Frantic Fusions. 2 Ability Clause will be implemented for the duration of the suspect!

Requirements:
NOTE: THIS TEST WILL BE USING THE NEW SUSPECT PROCESS!

Create a new account on PS. You do not have to follow any specific naming convention, but your suspect account must have never played a game in Frantic Fusions before this suspect test went up or you will not receive valid requirements (resetting W/L does not count for this - the account you use must never have played Frantic Fusions before the test, full stop.)
At any point on your new account, use the command /linksmogon on Pokemon Showdown! You will receive instructions on what to do once you run this command.
Double check that you're listed as a voter here! If you aren't listed as a voter despite having valid reqs, please contact KaenSoul, Giagantic, Dhelmise or a member of staff.

The requirement to vote in this suspect test is a COIL value of 2850 with a B-value of 5. The deadline for getting requirements will be <t:1742788740:R>

Voting:
Once the suspect period is over, everyone who has obtained reqs will be tagged. The post will then outline a process of blind voting, which will be clarified once the time arrives. For now, follow the above "Requirements" subheading to ensure that you have achieved requirements and linked your account

A supermajority (>=60%) of implement votes is required to implement 2 Ability Clause in Frantic Fusions

TL;DR:
- The COIL value is 2850 and B-value is 5
- You must ladder on a newly-created alt of any name
- You must link your suspect alt with your smogon account using /linksmogon
- The suspect test will run conclude on <t:1742788740:R>

Suspecting was terrifying. Honestly, not much changed with the gameplay that much besides me using Deoxys-Defense Blissey instead of Slowking Blissey to PP drain Latios and Raging Bolt, which is similar to Regen switching for PP drain. Hazard stack is still annoying as hell (although less stackers exist), and Ground-immune Pecharunt is a bane to Great Tusk.

Still voting to implement 2ac though

Reqs were pretty easy, had a breeze getting them since i have been really active on the ladder this month and got a good understanding on the ladder. Also screw that one guy who had 2 mons remaining and stalled the game for no reason for like 20 more turns. You know who you are :worrywhirl:

Used this: :great-tusk: :zapdos: :pecharunt: :cobalion: :swampert: :roaring-moon:

Team does very well into the bulky structures that are meta rn, Cobalion is a great mon against bulkier teams as it can hit hard on both sides with its stab. Also Volt Switch does stupid damage against mola and corv.

Also 2ac is the best solution, no reason to let people be able to run 4 regen mons. It makes the meta feels slow and sluggish and makes games be very long for no reason.

I didn't realize 2AC was implemented for the test until I was like 20 games into my run. Both times FF has come around as OMOTM I've run Belly Drum teams, because of how they feast on the regen teams. 2AC actually made my run harder, since my opponents were harder to set up on.

I think it made the games much more fun.

I was messing around on ladder on an old account and didn't realize it was suspect eligible until today so just finished it out on this account. Not sure what I'm gonna vote since I don't think its broken, although I do agree with Dahness that it kinda just makes matches annoying for no reason

With a whopping 90% of votes favoring 2 Ability Clause, the vote cannot be changed to not implement it. As such, 2 Ability Clause will be implemented in Frantic Fusions! Tagging dhelmise to implement.

If you qualify for TC, please DM the OM moderators as needed.

Other votes will be visible after the above date in the above post passes at the latest, or once everyone has voted.
